Sounds like low empathy - I should know, I have it, lol. As a child, I struggled with recognizing that people often just want camaraderie when they’re sharing their issues. I mean, come on, most of us are taught not to expect anyone to fix our problems - why would we genuinely be asking our friends to do so?

I don’t disagree. I’ve been the friends of many guys and to hear them talk about how their “closest male friends” react to their problems was pretty depressing. Just a lot of “damn, that’s crazy, we getting on Arma tonight?”

I’m really not trying to be rude but you brought up a moot point then. Women don’t even want to date since the rate of being killed by a guy you fucked twice is higher than a man being murdered in their marriage. Thanks for the fact I already knew, I suppose.

You disappear when you’re off the internet and post college. Just disintegrate.

Women are more comfortable being alone - that is to say, they’d rather not have an annoying, unattractive guy around when they could have a vibrator and friends. That’s why we have so many “old spinster tales” and “cat lady” stereotypes. Men don’t want to be alone, even if they despise that woman. For some reason, women disagree. I think it’s probably part of the fact most men could successfully maim the women if they wanted and statistically, it’s more likely to happen with someone you know. Wh…

Sounds like people are the same everywhere. Funny! I’m not being facetious or sarcastic, btw. When there’s a language barrier, you don’t have much to go off of but your imagination.

You mean polygyny - polygamy implies either sex can have another spouse. The former says only males. But moving on - as a another commenter corrected, Eastern Europe isn’t a fan. Here’s some actual facts, though: https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/12/07/polygamy-is-rare-around-the-world-and-mostly-confined-to-a-few-regions/ The only place with high polygamy is Northern Africa, with up to 36%. Additionally, it’s not really encouraged in Muslim culture - take a look at the stats. The highe…

I think she just doesn’t want to be talked to. Same, though. Except if a girl talks to me. That’s cool. When guys do it, I just assume they are trying to fuck - not because I’m oh so hot, but because I’ve seen men fuck anything and then call that person he wooed ugly. Doesn’t matter how you look. I’m always wrong when I don’t assume they aren’t trying to fuck, and I’m too old to engage in small talk I didn’t sign up for.

Can you give me some samples of how they are curbed or encouraged? I agree with the other person - and here’s a less severe example for the US: women going braless or them wearing tank tops. Not allowed in schools often because of the effect on males. Saudi Arabia does this but in a much more intrusive fashion, no pun intended. So, I don’t think it makes sense to say “only WEIRD western places do this,” because the other places just take it further.

What “male needs” aren’t being put first culturally?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
