1	Power play: ignoring bitches: "a growing body of recent research shows that people with the most social power pay scant attention to those with little such power" Interesting article but it makes the universally made mistake of assuming that studies of our time and this times societies, esp best western, represent the core human psyche, which they do not. I would suggest that empathy is the norm for those who have "power" and authority since within a social construct, oppression, disdain and an exclusive attitude can only ever lead to social dysfunction and then collapse.
