Be attractive. Don't be unattractive.

If a guy is on a date with you, he's already excited about you.

That's exactly my plan if I start going bald. Go full Bruce Willis and don't look back.

I read The Count of Monte Cristo a long time ago and it's really good. Alexandre Dumas was a genius. Try and read The Three Musketeers. If you read it and then see any movie or show based on it you will be infuriated by the way they usually butcher the story.

No wonder that more women are going to college than men. They don't have to actually pay for it.

So, as Shady_Mother_Fucker said, she's a professional attention whore. And probably sometimes just a professional...

That's why I never got along with the military. Following order without question is something I'll never be able to do. But I digress.

I can't understand why the military have such an issue with facial hair. You can kill people as well with or without a beard.

The most succesful DTs usually spend their life in prison or have a very short life. Think about it. Think about Manson, Bronson, Dahmer, Gein, Bundy...

Not being USian and not living in the US, I don't really care about Republicans or Democrats. And what I was trying to say exactly was that people usually confuse conservative with the rightwing fanatics while in reality there are many shades. I guess you could call me sort of a libertarian too but I don't usually adhere to general political philosophies either. I think every case must be studied in it's own merits without being clouded by ideology.

Don't reductio ad absurdum me, sir. You know what I'm talking about.

People keep confusing conservative with fascist and KKK batshit. I consider myself conservative, despite being a godless free-thinker and global-warming skeptic. I'm conservative in the sense that I think that people must earn the things they have and nobody is entitled to anything.

she got cute but still needs to lose some weight. At least now she looks like a person. I wonder what goes through some people's minds to adopt such an awful look for starters. Does one wake up one day thinking 'what could make me absolutely repulsive?' and then goes on and does just that?

We have the same phenomena in Brazil. Except the girls go after football (soccer for you USans) players. We call them "maria chuteira" (literally "soccer shoes mary"). And it's not even comedy.

Someone explain to this lady this little bit about the majority of men on dating sites: If she keeps answering the messages it means she's not rejecting. What she's saying doesn't matter as long as she keeps answering. Now let's see her accomplish the same results with some pictures of a landwhale on her profile instead of some hottie model.

You don't. But you also fail if you don't try. So try more often and fail more often. When you don't try, you fail 100% of the time. When you do try, you only fail part of the time.

Some eye contact would mean a lot. I find extremely hard to open someone without some previous eye contact. I'm reasonably good on interpreting non verbal cues and body language and I usually can tell if she genuinely didn't see me or she's purposely avoiding me.

I see. So he's this nerdy/geeky and hopeless romantic type. Bear in mind that he might never had even kissed a girl before and is probably extremely shy. So, being too direct will scare him and he'll freeze. It happens a lot. One thing to do is to arrange some situation with this romantic background. You might need the help of some friends to set this up. In other words, you'll have to make things in a little more flamboyant way. Hey, you said he's the romantic type...

Seduction advice for women is like photojournalism advice "just f/8 and be there". You didn't say, however if you're more into finding LTR or just have fun. Listen to this (f/8 and be there): No guy will say no to a reasonably nice looking woman (unless he's too shy, or gay, or committed***). So, unless you're not reasonably nice looking, all you need is to be open to opportunities that will present themselves to you (and they will). On the other hand, if you're looking for LTR it will be harder…

This is a thing that actors like a lot. When they have props to play with. When you have something to do with your hands. When you have some hardware to interact with. It helps A LOT in any scene.
