edit: I see you edited your comment after I responded to you to include all the parts about the story. I won't edit mine though. the point of the story is that she was treated horribly. The point behind telling it is to cause you to sympathize with her, and to feel she was treated horribly. So describing the reactions is part of that. She also made the "how and why she got pregnant" part of it. The fact that, even in the most sympathetic version of the story possible, she described it like that.…

That's quite a jump you've made there when you read this story, you need to remember that she is trying to present the most sympathetic version possible. In this light, her choice of words elucidates what really happened. If she was unconscious and he impregnated her, she would say that. It would instantly win your sympathy. If she was held down and forced, she would also mention that. Same deal. What does she say though? She was drunk. And she "couldn't say no." That's it. Not even a mention wh…

from the way she describes it, it just sounds like she had consensual sex with a drunk guy while she was also drunk, and she's labeling it as date rape to take blame off of herself. Notice how she doesn't say he forced himself on her while she was unconscious? She just says "I was intoxicated and could not tell him to stop." AKA it was consensual at the time, but now that bad things have happened, I'm gonna use the fact I was drunk to claim it was date rape and the guy is completely responsible …
