Did you become persona non grata to other married men friends after Divorce?Damn dude. This is why I’m friends with more of the moms and wives than of the dads and husbands. I keep boundaries between myself and female friends, especially married ones. But honestly most of my guy friends don’t give two shits about feelings and emotions. My female friends ask how I’m doing and check on me. None have tried to make a move, ever. Not in the Sox years that I’ve known most of em. I appreciate that as I know what being cheated on is like and I don’t want to be a party to that. … | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/12/22 08:05 PM
Funny Story: Have You Seen My Pendant?A house specifically? And in order to get 50/50? I live here in Mass and I’ve got 50/50 with my kids. Divorced last Dec. I could only afford a 2br and it never was an issue. My two kids are a boy and girl. They “should” have their own rooms, but I work for the federal government (Army) and my income is nowhere near rental or purchase prices in Mass. It doesn’t make sense you’d have to have a house. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/10/22 12:19 PM
Has anyone had to deal with a covert NPD?I don't have much to offer. But I want to follow this post. It sounds like my wife and I filed first because I was just tired of feeling shit on all the time and doing all the leg work while she's labeling me as a narcissist and tells me I'm controlling and emotionally abusive and I'm begging her to do couples counseling and even let me be grilled by her therapist to figure out what her issues are with me and what my issues are that impact her. I filed for divorce and for some reason I am now I'… | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/07/21 05:35 PM
Looking for any feedback from any guys in here who might have divorced and are federal employees I'm trying to figure out retirement benefits FERS and TSPYou sure some of your wife's stuff isn't post partum depression? Didn't read all of your posts but if you guys have infants it's likely. Just really something to consider if she's struggling and seems that irate a lot of the time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/04/21 07:48 PM
Looking for any feedback from any guys in here who might have divorced and are federal employees I'm trying to figure out retirement benefits FERS and TSPI'm only a GS-9 Step 4 right now... So won't get much blood from that turnip. Since I became a park ranger my goal was just to get to GS-9 and live the good life clearing the way for my wife to make sweet sweet doctor money. Turns out I need to find another life plan to get my BMW and fancy house. We've also got two kiddos and in Mass child support fucking hurts. 50/50 with her income level is me owing her $1200 a month. So that, that's painful. Honestly not sure how either of us will afford any… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/04/21 07:30 PM
Looking for any feedback from any guys in here who might have divorced and are federal employees I'm trying to figure out retirement benefits FERS and TSPI think I've got like $35k in tsp/FERS... So it won't be much. We've also got about 35k in credit cards which I mistakenly have paid down about 15k on this year with just my salary. My wife is a doc that's been building her practice over the past five years and is only making about 4k yearly after her business expenses. Im not divorcing her based on her practice not being "successful" I'm just tired of being a punching bag for her depression and anger and feeling more like a paycheck and babysit… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/04/21 07:21 PM
Advice + Do I need an attorney?Going through a divorce myself. Just wanted to mention I went to NYU for Art and antiques appraisal. If you've got a collection that valuable you're probably going to have to pay for a professional appraisal. I'm not offering my services but I know people. But, appraisal of a collection that valuable is usually mandatory from what I've learned. If it were me depending on what you collect I'd be hiding shit elsewhere, just saying. I live in Massachusetts and thankfully my collection of things was… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/04/21 08:26 PM
The paperwork boys. It's important.God damn this is what I didn't want to see regarding finances and headaches, but it's also what I needed to see today. I've been holding off or trying to get my financial disclosure forms filled out for over a month now. I haven't even told her that I'm filing but I've already got an attorney who handles 80% men for her clients and I've had that attorney since December. I was told to hold off by my attorney from having to talk to her about divorce until we get our taxes together because my wife … | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/02/21 09:31 PM
Hired the biggest ballbuster in town - but don't want a warI'm in a similar spot where I have found a female lawyer who deals with 80% male clients. I am wanting to end thing ls amicably but also wanting to get custodial parenting rights to help my kids have a more stable place and give my stbx the time and freedom to build her medical practice, something she's blamed on me for her not doing well over the past 4 years. Her behavior though can be very erratic, I'm think she may have borderline personality disorder. At the very least a lot of stress, plus… | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/01/21 11:22 PM
