i like women im in my 30s, so i wouldn't pursue or accept the advances of a 21 yr old OR a 55 yr old, but if either were "objectively" attractive, because either certainly can be, id be capable of recognizing that, just wouldn't feel active attraction let alone any desire whatsoever to do anything about it

six years isn't much of an age gap for adults, but the specific years between 22 and 28 sure can be seen that way. your very early 20s and your almost 30s are generally very different times in your life with different priorities and levels of maturity. im 32, id be with someone 38, but i wouldn't be interested in someone 26
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 12:46 PM

IF a man wrote a comparable song about women, he would be "endlessly slammed"?!?! first day on this planet, OP?

i have had multiple men straight up tell me to my face, no shame whatsoever, that “yeah, ofc i was nicer then, i was trying to be with you. now i AM with you, it’s obviously not the same”

do you understand how strange this question is? what is its purpose? what do you gain from making this comparison? what's so challenging about the fact that we should care about other people, even if we don't have the experience of raising someone like them?

There aren't that many young men going right. It's been largely exaggerated as part of a narrative. Young men still supported Harris over Trump. I suspect it's a phase they'll grow out of, although it's more likely they'll grow out of it if society stops being so uncaring towards men. If the left starts caring about man as much as it cares about women, believe me, men will go back to it with open arms. that's just not true at all it hasn't been exaggerated. i hope they'll grow out of it, but far…

every dad? are you american? (i don't assume, but some comments imply you might be.) did all of those men vote to protect women's, their daughters', rights in this past election? even if that is actually your anecdotal experience, it certainly is not the norm again, the point is you're not supposed to have to have "skin in the game" to care about it. you're supposed to be able to develop empathy for others when their personal situations don't affect you at all

you're still choosing to cherry pick reductive references to the middle east when other people are talking about pain, violence, and death on american soil, and ignore the harm actually caused. uncountable hundreds of thousands to millions of covid-related detahs would have been avoided or prevented if not for his words, actions, and inactions. pivoting to focus on the thing he did that caused the least harm at that time is not the same thing as acknowledging everything he did (and there was a h…

i do not disagree with you about obama's status as "drone striker in chief"; i was against it then and i'm against it now at the same time, the comment you replied to was clearly referring to american citizens the american government is extremely anti-islam, and will never have a problem with the concept of killing civilians in the middle east (just look at what's happening now) but trump is absolutely, objectively responsible for significantly more death and harm on american soil than obama was…

because democrats have historically prioritized playing nice over doing the right thing it's why people like MLK said the white moderate is more dangerous than the actively hateful, because of what they enable and allow the clintons and the bushes and the obamas smile in pictures together and pass each other candy at funerals, RGB was friends with scalia these are not proof of the tRiUmPh oF cOmPrOmiSe, they're evidence of the failure of spinelessness, the persistence of class solidarity, and th…

i'm queer and in an interracial relationship. when relatives say "but you don't really think they'll be able to make marriage [for queer and/or interracial couples] illegal again, do you?" my response is they want to, that's enough it happening would be way worse than it not happening, and attempts to do so would be met with resistance, but the point is i don't want people who want that to be in government, and i do not trust people who are willing to vote for those people like you said, that's …

And/or get abortions They are responsible for pregnancies. If you don't want to be...do something to prevent it. Why are you not treatint men as so incompetent, helpless and irresponsible in this situation? If you can get pregnant, you can (should be able to) choose not to be If you can get someone pregnant, you get to choose whether you take actions that will lead that to happen or not You're just wrong.

Lmao you're missing the point so completely - getting an abortion IS being responsible for your eggs If you don't have eggs You don't have that option You have to choose to opt out earlier. If you don't, you have to accept that the egg person gets final say. Again, SO extremely easy to understand

No it isn't. Their argument is about abortion access, mine is about personal responsibility and paternal/parental rights. I am extremely pro abortion. Anyone who wants one should be able to get one, and the only one who should decide whether they do or not is them. If you can get pregnant, you should have that choice. If you can't, you shouldn't make it for someone else. If you can get someone pregnant, be responsible for your own fucking sperm. Because you can't get pregnant or abort, but you c…

No one thinks either of those things People rightfully acknowledge (not sure why you won't) that men have historically had huge advantages in society that women have not. Forget voting (or don't--it was something only white men could do, then white women, then everybody else, if you're talking about America so it actually proves the exact opposite of the point you're trying to), let's talk about much more recent and important things: - Women could not get credit cards in their own names until LE…

I am one and have tons. An ex was over 9" and I experienced 3 years of tears, bleeding, extreme soreness, yeast infections, and UTIs. Another ex was under 4", but most of the nerve endings are right at the entrance and he also had big hands. The worst sex of my life was with the two biggest I've ever seen (9-10"). Neither had any understanding of angles or depth whatsoever. 5-7" is "ideal" for almost anyone, and 8" is definitely Big. Basically, people fantasize about all kinds of things. General…

1) none with the right partner, please stop assuming others are way more judgmental than we are and also remember you have a mouth and hands and toys and dirty talk and a thousand other things exist 2) literally has nothing to do with size and everything to do with your own thinking and self esteem. from 4" to 9", i have seen every shade of insecurity you can possibly think of. you "have problems" if you're more obsessed with your own genitalia than mutually enjoying an experience with/pleasing …

You're right! Not everywhere is America, but a lot of comments in this thread were related to American laws and issues so I didn't add a caveat. Don't worry--while Americans recently lost abortion rights, the same rights are either at risk, illegal, or not explicitly/fairly/safely codified into law in tons of other countries, so the point I was making absolutely still stands. Consistently scoring better in academia? Girl brains aren't hard wired to perform better in school than boy brains are. T…

The man's say happened when he came. He has tons of choice and say. Why do you think other people shouldn't have choices too?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:06 PM
1

Then he shouldn't have made someone pregnant. He could've made better choices. He didn't. Now if someone else wants to make a better choice than he did, they can. Stop trying to avoid responsibility for choices for some people while also saying other people shouldn't be allowed to make any. Makes literally no sense

Yeah, it is. Condoms are way cheaper, don't affect the INSIDE of your body at all, and aren't gatekept by doctors and pharmacists. How many times have you taken or purchased the pill? Would be pretty silly to raise this question without having that experience

Not hypocritical at all! Have testes? Vasectomies can prevent fertilization. Have ovaries? Birth control, surgery, or abortion. Not hypocritical, just different options for different people, and for super clear/obvious reasons
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:03 PM

I have the answer. You won't like it but it's objectively the answer: if you can MAKE someone pregnant, you're RESPONSIBLE for what you do with your own genetic material. If you ARE pregnant, you're responsible for deciding what happens to the pregnancy. Men have choice, tons of it! When their choices lead to fertilization IN SOMEONE ELSE'S BODY, it becomes that person's choice. A pregnant person should always be able to make that decision on their own...because...theyre the only one who is preg…

"I don't see what this has to do with racism, but don't worry I'm going to get SUPER racist in the next sentence so it's all good" jeeeeeesuschrist
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 08:59 PM
4

That is exactly what you're saying. If a man doesn't want to cause a pregnancy, he shouldn't deposit genetic material in a place where it can start one. If it does, since he isn't the one who's pregnant, it's up to the one who is what happens next. So, if you're pro abortion, sleep with other pro abortion people. If you're anti abortion, sleep with other anti people. YOU are responsible for getting someone else pregnant unless they do so nonconsensually, in which case a crime has been committed.…

Fortifying what advantages? How? We literally just lost Roe v Wade, we're LOSING not "advantages," but equality. Belittling and shaming are rude but also individual choices and behaviors. Not at all fair to discount a movement you actually agree with, if you do, because some people could be nicer when they talk about it. That's disingenuous, and so often people think they're being "shamed" when what's actually happening is others are encouraging them to think critically about what they've said
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 08:54 PM

Fully depends on what those "men's issues" are; a lot of times, those "assumptions" are made for a reason. As a feminist, I advocate for everybody. As a woman, I recognize women have historically been disadvantaged compared to men. Fixing that for everyone means focusing on that first. It just does. If someone cared about issues related to gender, or was a man who cared about women's issues, I'd consider them a passionate and political person. But a literal MRA? Totally different thing

The person who asks on a first date pays. In a relationship, you should treat each other for special occasions or the higher earner should pay more frequently if that works for everyone/makes the most sense. Very simple.

What do you mean by "lowers their standards"? Because I have a lot of thoughts about the rest of the post but don't know exactly how to frame that without knowing what you mean. I certainly have a guess, but still More specifically: the way this is written implies specific universal standards in some ways? In reality though... many people care very little or not at all about height when it comes to a prospective partner, especially considering the fact that height is not a person's choice what d…

? I genuinely don't understand what point OP is trying to make here. "If you have a lot of exposure to something, you'll probably be better at recognizing when it's good vs. when it's bad than someone who has less exposure to that same thing would" seems like a pretty logical, obvious, and uncontroversial statement to me. I'm struggling to understand its relevance to this sub Why are you challenging people to prove you wrong? How do you expect them to?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 03:43 PM

100% agreed with OP. you ask, you assume you'll be paying and offer at the very least. in relationships i tend maintain 50/50, but including very open communication about it that you might not be comfortable having with someone in the early stages, except in instances when one of us has been the higher earner by a notable margin (ive personally been on both sides of this), in which that person pays for more things, but not everything, and still reaches for their wallets most of the time even if …

hello i am a woman and find overly fit dudes gross. i hate that im even typing this but in anticipation of the response, i am thin, white, naturally blonde, conventionally attractive. both the appearance of that many muscles and the awareness of the obsession it takes to get to that point are large turn offs for me

Self esteem, dude. Shitty guys "need" you and even "conventionally attractive" women can carry trauma (frequently FROM dating) and/or have unrelated issues related to their own value.
