Well I agree on the connection between our animal drives and "AWALT". To me what is being said when I see "All Women (or Men) Are Like That" is that all women have the described drives, not necessarily that all will act on them, or at least to the same degree. Becoming a fully-functioning adult is in large part a process of separating oneself from those drives as necessary in order to be able to effectively be in relation to others. Not everyone does this to the same degree. Some people never ge…

Which parts of your "leanings" do you think will give you problems? No one I know is aware of my status as MGTOW nor of my political views for the most part. Most people will just assume that you think like them if you don't correct them. Is it that hard to not share your political (or whatever) views with people? Is it about not dating women? Again, that doesn't come up for me in conversation, but if it did I'm sure it would be easy to deflect. Tell them you just haven't met the right person, n…

single moms are to blame ... harshly condemned and criticized for accepting a bad/ flakey man into their lives I don't think it's so much that they are criticized for dating low-quality but attractive men. It is for choosing to have babies with such men. It shows poor judgment and triggers schadenfreude in some men for this reason. why do men also criticize women who are picky about their life partners if they’re only going to blame the woman if something goes wrong? There's a big middle ground.…

I'd say I'm sort of purple pill but I've shifted around a bit. The hardest part of RP to accept when I first read about it was learning about how attraction works for women. It seemed like if I wanted to be able to develop and maintain attraction from women I couldn't ever relax and be myself. The idea of having to live a lie by "holding frame" seemed horrible. Now I don't buy into AWALT, and I'm sure that there are plenty of women out there who could accept me as I am, but I have been able to r…

You seem to be focusing mostly on your external environment, but I don't think that's where your issues are. When we are unhappy we look outside of ourselves for the reasons and we can always find something to blame, but it's happening inside. Get your emotional state in order and everything else will fall into place. As to how to do that, it's not the same for everyone. But it's possible. Find what works for you. Therapy, meditation, self-help books, etc. If you are determined to find your way …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
