But he could still be chasing the truth, just within his perceived reality. And maybe he's banging lots of brainwashed babes all the time, does that make it better? If the truth he finds is valid for his reality, be it the real one or not, it's still real to him, perception is reality. Happiness is just brain chemicals, and the ones he gets for serving his cult are the same ones you and I get when we do things that we enjoy.

Not if he is actually happy, no. I think becoming more aware is a goal for some people, but I don't think that being more aware makes people inherently happier. I don't think I'd be happier if I were smarter. Reading a book makes me happy, having read a book does not make me an inherently happier person.

I would say that he is actually happy. I wouldn't personally enjoy that, but if he genuinely believed himself to be living a fulfilling life I would believe him. It's kinda like asking if a mentally retarded person can be truly happy. I would say yes.

I am not trying to trap you, I am genuinely curious as to how the government impedes my happiness to such a degree.

Just tell me one thing that the government does that more than marginally keeps me from doing something i want to, or something that the government could do that would make life drastically better. Just one thing.

I feel like there is a difference to the theoretical freedom that you had 300 years ago when you're living in a 1 room cabin out in the woods with no neighbors and the actual freedom I have to travel anywhere, say anything, associate with anyone, even though I can't do a few specific things. I can pretty much do anything that I want to do. I cannot think of anything that I would want to do, that I think everyone else should be allowed to do, that I can't do. Maybe hard drugs. I would like to dri…

I mean maybe in some fantastical utopia, but I can't think of anything the government could do, that would make my life so much better, besides a few marginal improvements. Can you give me an example of something you're aware of?

I can't even fathom some world where my life is even 10X better, let alone 1 million. What would be different, my marginal tax bracket, maybe drugs would be legal, help me understand.

That's fair, but that's kind of always the case no matter what, it's only bad as far as you can see it too. Things could go really wrong, or they could get way better. The current trend is that it's getting slightly better. Will you're life be that much better with Trump than Hillary, what decisions would either of them make that will directly affect you?

I'm a liberal, I read the emails. Doesn't really paint her in a good picture, and I certainly don't like the stiff with regards to Bernie. But I don't think anything is scandalous. And the reason no one cares is because the right shot their wad on Hillary scandals by calling everything since Benghazi a scandal. She's been investigated a lot, and nothing has proven to be a scandal or illegal. So people don't lay attention anymore. The left never really said much about Trump, they let him do the t…

Can't take what anymore? My life is pretty good, most people who I know are doing fairly well. If this is the shadow governments doing then good for them.

I actually went through some CDC statistics on this and concluded that it's not true with regards to women themselves, but it might me true with regards to per percentage of total partner count. Because you have to realize that most people, whether they are very attractive or not, will have a few long term relationships and maybe a random hookup or two, regardless of their SMV. For both sexes there is a normal distribution with a peak of around 30% in the 3-6 partner range (35% for women and 29%…

It should certainly be taken seriously for populations, just not individual people.

Spending a few weeks a year a year doing something isn't really dedicating your life to it.

You're a fool dude. Getting to 100 takes some work but you certainly dont need to dedicate your life to it. You can get laid 2 or 3 times a week if you travel around SA/Eurooe/SE Asia. Combine that with getting luckily at the club/bar/Tinder every now and then and you're there before 30, and you get to go on some sweet vacations.

If were talking about actual unambiguous violent rape, I'd say its worse. There are reasons you might murder someone, but not for raping someone, its more akin to torture. It might not be that the result is worse, but I think it takes a worse kind of person to do it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
