I’d do the whole thing again, just without a government contract, no legal shit. If she don’t like it too bad lol

It’s weird, my wife worked at the same place for 9 of our 13 years. I loved everyone she worked with up until 2-3 years ago. It’s a whole new crew at this point (bar/restaurant of course) and I can’t stand any of them, and they don’t like me either. Figures lol that’s when everything fell apart. Here’s a side note: it’s been just over a year since we separated now (divorce still isn’t final) and I couldn’t be happier. As long as I spent with her, I still feel like I dodged a bullet! I have plent…

Yup, it’ll make for a good conversation with a buddy and a bucket of beer at a bar lol

So don’t let it happen because you will probably regret it forever as well. I mean this with all respect possible, but if you really care about your daughter, you’ll make sure she sees you at that party that she asked you to go to. Even if it’s 10-15 minutes, she will never have a memory of you not being there. YOU GOT THIS DAD, GO GET IT!

I dont know, I would go if my kid asked me to be there. It has nothing to do with your or the mother, it’s about the kid, and if she wants you there, she will always remember you not showing up. I still have childhood memories of my dad not being there when I wanted him to be, and I’ve never regained a real relationship with him because of it.

I dont know, I can hate my ex for what she did to me, and I can still move on and be powerful in my own life. I will never again respect her though, and it just is what it is. Doesn’t mean I’ll be rude to her, just means I have zero care for her at this point.

Just send it now. That’s not even revenge, that’s helping someone else that you care about, whose in the same shoes as you. Fucking tell him dude

Don’t give up on your daughter. She’ll never forgive you. You’ve got the rest of your life and her life. Give her some space for a couple weeks then send her a thoughtful gift or something that way she doesn’t have to talk to you. After that, try and reach out. As much as it sucks, you need your ex to help at least a little. Be respectful when talking to her and just ask her to talk to your daughter for you. Whatever you do, just don’t push too hard or force it. You got this!

Yup. This is me. Kids are 1.5 and 3.5. Totally blindsided, I tell people I wish I did something to understand why this is happening. Oh well, I’m finally getting over her and ready to move on. Fuck our vows, right?

My lawyer told me this is how it works, but I’m in NY. You should talk to your lawyer about it.

I spent over a decade taking care of my ex like she was one of my kids. Never again, independent with a good career only for me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
