Yoga pants have become a turn off for me at this point. Everyone, even chicks who have no business wearing yoga pants, wears them now and they get away with it even if yoga pants are inappropriate. I want to wear v-neck t-shirts and loose jeans all the time but I don't shelter behind allegations of sexism when I have to be business casual or higher.

I think you're seeing MGTOW as some kind of cloistered organisation where you sit illuminating the bible for the next 60 years. In my opinion the only real tenet is to free yourself from society's expectations. A corollary to that is seeing women for what they are and seeing society for what it is: shallow and narcissistic. Those two ideas can free you completely because you won't force yourself to play society's game. Taking a look at what's coming up for you, most white middle class people pro…

Feminism isn't about merit, it is gender based. Men admittedly had a higher place in society than women. The latest that was true was the 1980s when third-wave feminism basically succeeded in it's mission to egalitate working women with men. Today women are equal to men in western countries but it, as a gender based movement, hasn't ceased to exist.
/r/MGTOW218/02/20 08:41 PM

Not really though. Feminism before the 1970s and 80s was relevant. Laws have made men and women just about as equal as possible in the western world since then. Feminism is actually regressing us now because they refuse to drop gender from philosophical thought. What we should be moving towards as a society is total meritocracy. The best person for any job gets that job regardless of gender. If a job requires heavy lifting 95% of the successful candidates will be male by merit of strength. Femin…

Few seriously deny climate change is happening to a degree. Whether or not the world will end in 10 years if we dont all convert to solar is a debate that the left doesnt want to have. Hence the question do you believe in climate change. Marxist thought is the enemy. It's the same with gun control. You either believe in a gun ban or you're a nazi who murders babies. There is no nuance to marxist thought there is only a liberal ideal that everyone must align with or be exiled from the tribe.

You'd have to be deaf and blind to miss how left wing ideologies are creeping into everything including big hollywood studios like Marvel and Disney. Climate change and feminism are two perfect examples of Marxist thought at work. They only ask unanswerable questions: Do you believe in climate change? Do you believe in Feminism? Answering No or having any nuanced answer to those makes you a social pariah. Captain Marvel did well because it had the Marvel label. It was an objectively shitty movie…

As a Christian I'd argue it's not the act that does anything to you it's how it affects you personally (emotionally or mentally, whatever you like). The act itself is nothing, it's how it affects you as a Christian that matters. When you look at it this way it's a bit easier to realize that getting worked up over sex is wasted energy. The act itself is meaningless so the energy spent worrying about it is wasted.

No I don't get bored easily at all. I'm incredibly patient and get annoyed when other people get bored of something too quickly. I've kept the "learn to live for yourself" social hermit deal up for a decade. I am bored of it. you can bet your sorry ass I and all humans need human interaction. If you think we don't you've probably never been without it.

This "learn to live for yourself" thing, I personally find, does not work on it's own. It is so easy these days to fulfill all basic needs that living for oneself just leads to extreme boredom. Humans have a need for social interaction and companionship.

I'm not talking about Marxism in an economic sense although the fundamentals of capitalism (trading currency with no inherent value for something of inherent value) are lightyears better than communism. I'm talking about communist thought. It is most obvious in the recent homosexuality "craze". I think the scariest part in the west is the rise of marxist/communist thought. 2 + 2 = 5 and if you dont see it that way you are delusional, everyone must see that the solution is 5. I'm seeing a bizarre trend away from empirical evidence towards group think that is extremely dangerous.

There is no study, you can look at the actual US stats graph (which I unfortunately dont have). Basically it's a government census that took every Male and female aged 18 to 65, added all their salaries then divided them by that amount without accounting for any other variable whatsoever to get the average Male and female salary. It's basic stats reading 101. Everyone knows women work fewer hours, rend to work lower paying jobs, and tend to leave the work force early to start a family. The graph…

Do they account for how once a guy gets married they tend to start ignoring their physical health? Diet and exercise both negatively affect testosterone and the "dad bod" stereotype exists for a reason. I don't care for how these studies automatically jump to the evolutionary biology style conclusion and ignore a lot of other potential factors like personality or the fact that humans have "evolved" beyond what evolution would say must be. The problem I see is do animals actually perceive physical aka aesthetic beauty? It is impossible to prove. The next question is do humans actually perceive physical beauty or is it totally dependent on sexual attraction related to reproduction? I'd argue that humans can see both aesthetic beauty (why do we create art or music?) and sexual "beauty" and both play a factor in who we settle down with, sometimes one more than the other. I actually have a big internal struggle with proving that we ar…

The bar weighs 45 pounds by itself. If you want to increase the amount you can lift forget going for high reps. Each time you go in to bench do 2 or 3 supplementary exercises at an easy weight; dumbell presses or the seated chest press machine to warm up your muscles as much as possible. Then head to the barbell bench press and do 1-2 reps at about 75% your maximum weight then go up 5 pounds each 1 rep set. Irrelevant to MGTOW. And anyway this whole abortion topic has been blown to ridiculous proportions. The stupidity on both sides of the debate is a perfect example of how we're still too stupid to start, as a species, considering questions like when a human life actually starts and what the nature of life is. Neither side is using evidence and everyone becomes entrenched in their own safe haven of gut feeling. Save yourself and leave the debate alone.

Apparently your height and weight are right in the "normal" BMI zone. If you want to add muscle get off the treadmill and start lifting progressively heavier things with different body parts. Remove all simple carbs and processed food and add 2 chicken breasts or 4 eggs a day into whatever your usual diet is. Being short and skinny is a blessing because you can afford to eat a lot and I think shorter people tend to put on muscle easier.

Porn is free. Not sure if I'm in the minority but although feeling up a woman is nice it's by no means an essential part of my day to day and I wouldn't pay for it. After reading an article about it it seems like the main idea they're parroting around is how the internet--especially porn in this situation--is mainly a Male dominated "patriarchal" space. They aren't actually wrong, the internet is a Male dominated space because men made and continue to make the majority of content on the internet. This is fundamentally why the patriarchy doesn't exist today. If women want to see spaces more equalized they need to EARN their place in them by creating them the…

You're only half wrong. Since apparently you're only looking at the last few centuries the fact is neither women nor men had rights until the mid 18th century when America threw off the monarchy. Until then unless you were a noble both men and women were equally disenfranchised. Noblewomen were indeed seen as the inferior gender however women more so than men were promoting that stigma. I suggest looking into how the 17th century changed the status of women. The wars between Catholics and protes…

White people didnt invent most things, yellow and brown people did. Arabs worked out the heliocentric universe centuries before europeans and had medical knowledge that heavily influenced European medicine which was centuries behind. The Chinese had paper currency and a pseudo-meritocratic bureaucracy almost 1000 years before anyone else. The notion that women have always been oppressed is simply not true historically and often times it was women oppressing other women not men. Stop learning you…

Hypergamy criticizes a womans propensity to give in to their nature and settle for the highest bidder. 200 years ago the pool of bidders was pretty small because all you could do was write letters and communicate in person. The internet expanded the bidding pool by orders of magnitude so now women are much more likely to continuously "monkey branch" up ad nauseam until she destroys herself in the search for a more valuable partner. If you believe in science or evolution at all it's an undeniable…

In my experience very few women are independent enough to be in a relationship but not define herself by what her partner is doing. I just can't understand how politicians can't seem to understand some of the most basic things such as culture differences, regardless of how much you disagree you still have to play by the home teams rules. It's called globalism and it's the opposite of having a healthy respect for history and humans in general.

It's hard to find the motivation to do anything once you've learned that you don't need to do anything to impress anyone. Here's a bit of motivation, it's a guy ranting against the body-positive movement but I think it's applicable to many aspects of life. This guy is also quite funny.

Women are already interfering in boy's development and it's destroying what they should feel is natural. Being aggressive, being competitive, being strong, being a leader, also self-control and compassion are all things women can not innately teach a boy like a man can. All that shit like boys can grow up playing with barbies and crocheting and crap is just skirting around the real issue that the female-dominated early education system does not teach boys correctly.

It's not real. I went to an ultra-left wing feminist site and read their article on it. Then I went to the source they listed. It goes to a US census from a couple years ago that states clearly and directly that this particular table just took all salaries from all working age males and all working age females in the US, totaled them, then averaged them without making any adjustments for how women tend to work lower paying jobs, get less valuable degrees, and take more time off.
/r/MGTOW28/07/18 11:22 PM

Any large city in the US is as left wing as Toronto. That's the secret. Canada has fewer than 5 major cities. Avoid them and you're set. Yes move up here but avoid Toronto like the plague.

This is the sheer beauty of the philosophy right here. It's so universal even a non-MGTOW could benefit from it. The stoic element to the MGTOW philosophy is the best part in my opinion because it frees you from quite possibly 80 to 90 percent of the stresses of every day life. Just focus on what you can change (yourself, what you interact with personally) and leave everything else to itself. Not only one way, but possibly the best way to live.

Same title perhaps but not the same job duties you stupid cunt. I actually looked into what a feminist activism page cites as their source for the .77 cents on the dollar thing. It's a misrepresentation of a US Census Bureau stat that lumps ALL full time working males and ALL full time working females average salaries. They ignore how there are a couple million fewer females and that females will take much more leave to raise children and also tend to choose lower paying jobs/degrees.

Women get paid for the same work. It's called the equal pay act. Anyone who says women earn less than men are misusing statistics. They don't account for the fact that women take much more time of than men for maternity leave or to quit altogether later in life to be a stay at home mother and such. Any Canadian citizen can hunt on any crown land as long as you comply with hunting and firearms laws. The lottery system is in place only for conservation purposes--the amount of deer a Hunter can take per season varies depending on the deer population. Foreigners can fish on any crown land as long as they buy a fishing license and comply with any conservation laws like daily limits. Also many Canadians take guns to the US for competitions and I assume the reverse is also true.

Although if you're looking to gain weight I'd figure out what your daily caloric intake is based on height and weight and add about 600-1000 calories to it which means increasing the carb and fat intake. Once you hit your target, drop off most of the carbs and go high fat high protein, your body will start to burn fat over carbs. Actually I think in the case of two lesbian parents wouldn't the rate to look at be children coming from fatherless homes? Also divorce rates aren't really tied to this except when the kid goes to the mother, then the single mother homes stats apply again.
