When did r/seduction go beta?

Rock on! if it still bothers you tomorrow, complain to security (do they have a feed back form on the web?) and maybe they'll fix their training for next time. We don't have "FREE HUGS" people around here - I'm intrigued. Might be a good group to hang with for 'social freedom' and 'kino' experience. If it is not your scene, I would still be tempted to stand a little ways off from them with a "FREE ASS GRABS" sign and see what happens. I think I got the idea from BradP's stories about wearing his…

I doubt it. I read your other comments before I posted and I saw that you've been at this for awhile in other sub-reddits.

I'm curious where these approaches were -- in a high energy place like a night club I assume you'd need to be high energy as well and the girls would be more likely to have their b-shields up and not as talkative. How did you get introduced to the community in high school? Since you can afford a bootcamp I assume your family payed for it, not your summer job? My son is 10... I figured I'll wait to see if he bombs in high school before lending him community books/videos.

Have you read the 'Conquer Your Campus' PUA ebook? I haven't (cause I'm long gone from college) but it had good reviews.

just reading more doesn't sound like it will change anything for you. when you go out can you find 'naturals' and befriend them? You could attend a 3 day bootcamp -- I suspect it would get you approaching girls while you are there but then once you are home you will fall back to your old ways. The follow-up book to 'The Game' is a 30 day program. Do you have an interested buddy that would provide you with the peer pressure needed to follow through? Someone tried it here but dropped out after day…

I was thinking you were ejecting too soon (after just getting numbers) but now I see this happens even after you hook up (on the 1st night of meeting them?). Hmmm... Do you have girlfriends you can ask? Maybe you have nose or ear hair and we'll never figure it out over the net. Maybe you slouch too much. or need a better haircut/clothes. If you haven't already, figure out 5-10 different '2nd day dates' you can do in your area. When you are talking to them face to face figure out which date idea …

"I can't imagine being that nasty to something so benign" They are stuck together on a train, he is in her personal space (in the seat right next to her), and probably doesn't have a false time constraint to use. "Nice coat" would sound creepy to me if I was a girl. "Nice coat - I wanted to get one like it for my sister, where did you buy it?" might go over better.

how about making moderators out of the top 2-3 commenters that have received the most upvotes in the past 30 days (i.e. active, and the rest of seddit thinks they are onto something). Basing it on theme design is like hiring a CEO based on design taste. Worked for Apple, but...

I would be more interested in girl. "What do you think is the best/worst approach/line?" "How would you change it to work for females?" "Say hello, buy a girl a drink, and you'll meet people." Response: "It's a bit of a self-improvement program for guys so that you don't get drunk from the drinks I buy and go home with some one else. You've never done that, have you? ;)"

The books don't say "you should kiss her". If you think that books and videos geared towards fixing your problems can't help you then they can't. Go back to your therapist and stop looking for advice here.

JK Rowling and other authors are not buisiness men/women? I thought David had a few books, but I see now that he mostly does DVDs. BradP has a degree in psychology and philosophy (and taught life skills to adults with OCD and spent 4 years as a social worked with at-risk NY teens) so there's someone with a psychologish background. But you have your mind set on being a loser so why bother helping you?

I have been wondering if you are a troll. You got great advice on here but you choose to ignore it. You've already been told that you had already been friend-zoned and that you should date other girls and see if she came around later. You told that guy that he was wrong. You've been told the books/authors/websites that help guys with similar issues but you refuse to read anything that wasn't written by a cognitive psychologist that does not have game. There literally has been a golden age of pic…

Geez.... we're both over thinking the first kiss. What happens next? Don't high five her. Come up with some scenes for what happens afterwards. One kiss and then you snuggle, with more making out in 10 minutes. Or 5 minutes of making out then a back rub (her sitting on the floor between your legs while you watch the movie... hmmm, does she like to have her hair pulled gently? Just ask. Turns some girls to jelly), then 5 minutes later more making out... Hmmm.... We have no idea if you are a virgi…

Do not use the word "Neurotic" about yourself when talking to her. You are controlling the "frame" and don't want anyone to think of you that way. "I'm good - I spent the other day figuring out some of the ways I shoot myself in the foot, so I feel better now. How is your day going?" You are still in your head and planning out a single kiss scene. That might be OK, but things could go 'wrong' and you need to act on your feet. How about coming up with multiple scenes to try out in your head. I th…

We have no idea how many number closes and F closes Castiglione actually got. His goals sound a bit different. There could have been a [insert-favorite-pua-guru-here] back then but they weren't widely published. I suspect that projecting [1] leader of men, [2] protector of love ones, and [3] pre-selected by women never really goes out of style. It's geared toward evolutionary biology, but there may be some social orders were it wouldn't work (Amazonian women tribes?)

Ah, with your "15+ year" comment and comparison to characters in 'Adaptation' I figured you were much older. You are young enough to still count as a student where you are, and there is a branch of advice for campus pick-up. I haven't read it, but I've seen good mentions of the 'Conquer your Campus' e-book. This search may help if you are interested.

Is she an '8' ? She might be telling the truth and is too self-absorbed to talk about something more interesting. Is she a '5' ? She might be insecure and trying to brag/get attention. Either way, 'the_first_rule's advice is pretty good.
/r/seduction11/03/10 05:52 AM

Adaptation - the easy going brother Donald? :) It doesn't sound like she is your perfect match so that should help take some of the pressure off of you. Random goal: talk to 5 female strangers before you talk to her again(ask a stranger the current time, directions to nearest Starbucks, etc).

"she's thinking, "oh, he's an awkward asshole."" And that's how I'd know it was the last date for her. If she can't take a little teasing and is inflexible then I'm not interested. BradP has helpful insights into how chicks dig humor and role-playing relating to social structures/pecking order that most guys don't get. His actual advice would be more helpful if you were meeting girls in clubs.

ok #1 was more about a BradP.com concept about social pressure -- showing you can handle it. I was thinking more 'George Clooney' than 'Michael Scott', but I could see how it could be delivered like Scott. Having you do all the work of making the dinner sounds beta, but can be fine for many girls. Pretending she was supposed to cook sets the 'frame' that she is cooking for you even though she isn't. Sorta plants the seed that next time she cooks for you at her place. Skipping it is fine if it is…

Awesome! I thought of a few more things on the way home. create a little tension/humor - pretend that she misunderstood and that she was supposed to come over and cook YOU dinner. "Hi - the kitchen is that way. Let me know if you need helping finding anything." Wait 2-3 seconds deadpan, then crack a smile, admit it was a joke but let her know she is welcome to cook alongside of you. I.e. it is a activity to do together, and you can throw some light touching in early, or maybe feed her some of th…

Also go for fun/sexual songs. "I Like Big Butts" would probably send a funny/sexual vibe better than something more traditional serenadey. John Mayer seem a bit of douche, but 'Your Body is a Wonderland' would probably score you lots of points.

Do not wait for the end of the date to touch/kiss. Do lots of short/quick touching earlier so she can decide if she is comfortable with you touching her, and it seems natural for both of you. Fun video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl9MQ3FI1e0

Alot of PUA material seems geared to cold approach (meeting and chatting up strangers). Bradp (bradp.com) has good advice on "social circle game", which seems more applicable to a small school and you not being able to go to clubs/bars. You can find it if you look in the usual places (although I recommend paying if you have the $).

Band line-ups change -- I'd recommend being ready to step-in when they need a new guitarist. Actually, it seems like decent bass players are harder to find...

I read ShyBusters yesterday. Her recommendation was that voice training wouldn't help nearly as much as acting lessons (which involve voice projection, experimenting with different roles in front of an audience, etc). I'm looking into it.

It isn't the case. Even if 80% of child molesters are male it doesn't mean that all men should be treated as child molesters.

If he was following what was in the book 'the Game' and he was actually interested in the author, he would have made friends with and disarmed her companions first. He would have told stories that demonstrated he was 'high value' while ignoring/negging his true target. So yes, like everyone else there he was interested in meeting/interacting with members of the opposite sex, but this wasn't a mystery method student.
/r/seduction11/02/10 10:38 PM

Sounds like the girls are putting down 'The Game' while actually following it. The guy mentioned in the article wasn't following 'the Game'.
