If it makes it through appeal(it probably will) it will open up other plaintiffs getting injunctions ordering either the extension or abolishment. They have had a true coed option since the late 90s for older scouts; albeit only fkr later ages and without coming with a path to eagle. The lowest opponents of scouting never looked in to actually utilizing or improving this. And they deserved to be called out. But I don't see why the bsa should care about GS. BSA is based off Baden-Powell's Boy Scout program, and is part of WOSM. The organizational structure of both local and national, the kinds of programs offered, amount of resources, and focus is wildly different. In particular Girl Scouts said they were addressing issues of not focusing on "boy scout like" activity enough by launching a revitalization campaign. Marshallton United Methodist Church, the church running this new troop just celebrated the 75th anniversary of their boy scout program.
