I don't know how everything works in the UK, I'm from Belgium, but here you would need your record clean for getting certain jobs and so. Now, I don't think he's saying that record (if it sort of works the same there as here) will be affected since he was never convicted of anything, but he's saying that when a police officer stops him and looks him up, there will be a record in a wider database, and as such he has doubts about airports and more as well?
