OP, read this and then read again. You are not special and there is no tailored answer for your LTR.

You're doing good in my opinion. But it's yours that matters. Do whatever you want and whatever you feel is going to improve yourself. For the questions you're asking it seems that you already know the answer, just recognize deep down the answer and don't hamster it. You know the path, you just have to walk it.

It's really hard to be alpha or anything while not being (present). That's why long distance is not recommended. Anyway do you have access to other women where you work? Make it known that you have options..

I recently changed country and knew no one on the destination. Found a gym and met people as I saw them everyday there, talked to them.. same for people at the bus to/from work. Met local businesses owners as I went to their restaurant/shops near my house. I met lots of people at work but they are not in my social circle. If you talk to people, you meet people.

Tv series "Lie to me". Look for body language on youtube. Read about mentalism and how to take advantage of body language and people perception. Look how to manipulate atention on youtube. There is so much stuff there.

I think almost everyone missed this red flag: first and second date at a location where you can't fuck?! There is no tingles there.. Edit: I assume that was your intention and that you have somewhere to do it.

My LTR started the gym again after a break of almost a year. When she stopped the gym a year ago, the sex drive went down, a lot. Everything was a reason to complain (self esteem issues). Now, and after only 5 weeks of exercise, the change is palpable (literally and figuratively). Not even mentioning the physical improvement, which impacts directly on her self esteem, and her emotions consequently. This change came about the same time as the gym, but it can be the recent dread game, or maybe bot…

Buy a large calendar (for the year if possible) and put it on a wall where you can see it (and where you can't ignore it). Mark with an 'X' on everyday you do something towards your goals. Any goal. Do something everyday, small steps or big workouts, just do it, and mark it. Try to never break the 'X' chain. I could read my LTR in your post. I was you 11 months ago when i discovered TRP, the relation was the same, and same attitude. Now it has changed, a LOT, thanks to TRP. Come to TRP once a day, read, and then read more. Change the cardio (for me it was running and cycling) for some weights(lifting). I still run and ride a bit, but much less. The change in confidence is immense. Watch what you eat. Always do what you want. This is important. When you are out with her or only staying home, think to…

I really am. It was a really strange experience going back in time through my messages... The further I went the more distant I felt from the old self.

Recently I had to search in my phone messages for a link my girl sent me a few months ago, before I found it I was reading through messages and honestly thinking "who wrote that?!". These were messages from February and January around the time I started reading TRP. I honestly can't relate to that person - my old self.

I can understand that, thank you for the explanation. It really is a matter of perspective, I've watched it with that in mind, and now that you compared it with the silicon valley situation (to which I can relate) makes me think of it in other terms. Thank you and /u/Enterthenooch for the enlightenment!

I haven't watched it so long ago, but I have the impression that he is a very lonely character (maybe by my standards), and the alcoholic part I don't even took it serious seeing that everyone in the show seems to be having alcohol all the time (maybe its an american 60's thing I thought). He got money and status from nothing, working his way up, but that's the thing, if you look at him at a rich guy who has everything, or look at him as a guy who had nothing you will interpret different things.…

Well from my point of view (and not being in the US), the guy as the right attitude, and I recognize that sometimes it could be different and contradicts himself but overall is a good example . If there are double meanings (or the problems are more trivial than they seem) maybe it's because I'm not familiar with the social/business dynamics there. I would understand you can see things differently living there and knowing the reality, but for me and my reality that's what I take from him. EDIT: b…

I would add Don Draper from Mad Men and Harvey Specter from Suits as 2 RP examples. Well I would say Mad Men portrays RP philosophy to a great level of detail.

I don't know if it's related but since discovering TRP I've never said "I love you" again to my gf. It has been almost 10 months now and I didn't feel like saying it again. She knows I'm different, she treats me differently and things are going in the right direction, but that words have never came out of my mouth again. As for the anti-social behaviour: I keep seeing most of my friends, go to parties, but most of the time I'm quietly absorbing everything around me, as if I'm seeing the world th…

You are scared your investment will go away. I understand you are new to TRP, so a quick answer (and I'm not an expert) is to never show that you are insecure, or afraid you will lose her, and show that you are being awesome and having a great time wherever you are. Always keep a solid frame. Its really hard (if not impossible) to maintain frame if you're not present. And that's the real issue here. She will be in contact with other guys, and it only takes an "alpha" to spin her emotions and you…

I would only change the "kiss at the end of the night". Make the situation earlier and go for it. They know each other for a long time, if he does not escalate earlier and miss the "good night kiss" instead, it's over.

By saying you are an alpha you are confirming TRP theory. You have a successful LTR (with its ups and downs), mostly because of that. When you divorced her, and cheated on her, you were showing that you have alternatives, that you are not trapped and don't tolerate [whatever reasons for divorce] and showing high SMV. I'm not entering the women cannot love as men discussion, my experience (or lack of) does not allow me to.

From what I've been learning, alpha is not only about looks, it's the posture, how you make yourself seen and perceived by others. I'm not the tallest guy, I'm still building muscle, I'm just starting my work life, and yet, the way I present myself, the way I talk to people, the way I put myself in "front" of what you'd expect to be alphas really makes me stand out. You may have alpha appearance, but the "mind" will eventually reveal who you are: your posture, your speech, your handshake, eye co…

Not doing something cannot be considered equivalent to doing something, in my opinion. I'm not saying it is, I'm saying it is a statement you're making. If I choose in the future not to have kids, I'll be making a statement on whatever I feel like, but I'll have to know why I'm doing it, and that I'm doing it, that it is MY choice. Having children is not a thing I'm looking for, and I like kids, I have 2 nephews I take care a lot and enjoy doing so, it's very rewarding, but it's not something I …

Well, if playing the game the right way would mean you'd find a unicorn, then the meaning of unicorn wouldn't be the same. I understand what you're trying to say but i don't think not to take action is bad, not to take action is a form of action! It is how you make a stand for yourself too. If you don't want to participate in something you don't believe, then don't! I don't go to church on sundays, and i'm not going to protest against those who go! I'm not taking action, I'm standing for what i …
