By joining up you’re just continuing the same cycle of men being used as shields without recieving any value in return for their sacrifices. The VA is running on shoestrings, you’ll come back with psychological issues that can’t be treated, likely homeless because you can’t keep a job. It’s not a career unless you can stick it out until 35. Most can’t and won’t.
