I imagine that if they can pass the physical standards that women in combat roles currently have to pass that they will be given combat roles. But you’re right, men are more likely to be put onto the front lines.

The Selective Service System has an annual budget of nearly 23 million. That’s a whole lot of money to spend on the draft, especially when we haven’t had a draft in nearly 50 years.

The draft should only be for invasions only. Forcing people into a war they don’t believe in (like Vietnam) is a good way to lose a war. When it’s a war and a cause people believe in, (stopping Hitler, retaliation for Pearl Harbor) you will have plenty of volunteers. Not to mention the fact the branch of the government in charge of the draft, the Selective Service System, has an annual budget of almost 23 million a year.

The problem is unless you were married at the time of conception, there’s no way to prove wrongdoing. At least legally. She could say they weren’t monogamous at the time, but she was very certain she knew which one was the father. Thrown out of court right there. It sucks but it’s true

This situation isn’t about rape charges being dropped due to lack of evidence. It’s about women lying and attempting to send an innocent man to jail/ruin his life. Many people believe that if it can be proved that she was making false accusations, that she should serve the sentence that the man would have served for rape.

When I did wildland firefighting there was a year that they had to hire the only female that applied. 15 spots, 100 or so applications, and they had the hire a useless girl because it was sexist not to have one.

I’m not admitting that. Those are two different stories. The first one is a guy who broke the law and had sex with minors, and the second one is police scaring a kid so bad that he kills himself. The original issue was the double standard between male and female sexual predators. It doesn’t seem right to society, but if a grown woman has sex with a minor then she’s a pedophile.

I can agree with you there. Shorter guys can lift a much higher ratio of weight lifted compared to how much you weigh. You won’t see as many tall guys squatting 3-4 times their body weight. Only disadvantage there is how much muscle you can put on a smaller frame. If you’re going for an overall world record, 6ft+ rules the board.

I like what you said my man. I’m 5’5” as well and I can relate to everything you wrote. Shorter people live longer, but the advantages stop after that. Things like fighting, sports, and attracting women are all typically easier if you’re tall. I’ve even seen studies that height has a correlation on income and career success. It’s not easy, but it’s just the hand we were dealt. Like you said, you just have to love yourself and make the best of it.
