The basics of any self-improvement. Not being a doormat is obvious. Starting a good workout does a lot of good things, ironically not much for dating but rather overall health and discipline. Basic dating advice like not putting people on a pedestal is also very good. In general TRP gets a lot right, but those things can also be found in other self-improvement strategies that lack the misogynistic anti-equality ideas TRP has.

Take the truths you can from the red pill and keep an eye out for the grifters and the bad actors. I personally would say that it's better to completely disengage from the Red Pill community, not because they're incorrect but because all their good advice isn't that uncommon. A lot of the basics are found in every self-improvement guide and things that many people consider necessary to get personal fulfillment in their life. Different interpretations I guess. To me, "be yourself" means that you don't forsake your hobbies in favor of "cooler" ones, or do things you're normally against because you want to belong to some other archetype male group. Self-improvement is something you can choose to do if you want to improve part of yourself, but that shouldn't mean you have to let go of something else.

How can these things not be together with "being yourself" though? You can't say that only to dump those beat down generic self-improvement steps. This is more of a "Reasons not to get addicted to alcohol" post. Most of these only apply to people who drink large amounts of alcohol. Nothing of that applies to me, even though I regularly drink alcohol. So, drink in moderation, but don't stop drinking if you like drinking. A few beers a night won't be bad.

Except that TRP claims men are universally better than women, while here, men and women are simply equal. It's a toxic mindset to think that you're better than roughly half the world. The only thing the same is the standard ideas. Hit the gym, don't put wonen on a pedestal, be confident, learn to act confident. TRP puts it a notch up and says women are crazy and can be seduced like you'd trick or train an animal.
