Anyone ever brings up "men pay less for everyday products, and that's male privilege" line...I've definitely lived like that for extended periods when living temporary or when theres been other priorities. I just see it as functional and make do. Utilitarian. Never bothered me, personally. | /r/MensRights | 08/06/23 12:43 PM
Not all men vs not all feministsI agree. Speaking in absolutes and hyperbole just escalates the competition and shows bias. I love this. | /r/MensRights | 11/05/23 07:11 AM
“The gender pain gap”. Whatever next.Anecdotally, I've broken my left wrist multiple times. All times I didn't think I broke it. I didn't get an xray until too late twice because I under reported or experienced pain. | /r/MensRights | 05/05/23 01:44 AM
Should I do leg lengthening surgery ?I'm not much taller than you and have similar feelings of despair now I'm getting back to the dating game. Apps are a sesspool. I don't put my height anymore, I've been abused about it too many times. Regardless, it may never "be enough" for the women you are targeting, particularly on apps which have you marketing yourself competing against others. Those apps breed the "good on paper" approach the dating. Stats dehumanise you. We are not just fucking numbers, we are people too, complex brillian… | /r/MensRights | 05/04/23 01:07 PM
Dear women reading this: you're not competing against other women. While I agree, particularly that happiness comes from within, it's hard to take advice to remain single from somebody who is not. Your perspective is different. Thank you for the kind words in any case. | /r/MensRights | 01/04/23 11:33 PM
Fellas is it sexist to call the woman you nailed on your wedding night your wife?Yeah seen that far too often. Sorry my previous comment was an attempt at a joke. I need to work on that apparently :P | /r/MensRights | 29/04/20 10:04 PM
Fellas is it sexist to call the woman you nailed on your wedding night your wife?I know, Lorraines are the worst. /s | /r/MensRights | 29/04/20 10:00 PM
What are some things which men feel but don't talk about? Our worth is tied completely to how valuable we are to others. This can be serving them or supporting them. Many times I've just wanted to stop. To travel or be otherwise unemployed for a while. I can't do it. I can't let myself become invaluable. I would feel like a failure even though I've spent my life saving for that exact intention. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/20 11:13 AM
What are some things which men feel but don't talk about?I don't know if this is what you're after but sure... Nothing I do is ever good enough. I've never been satisfied with anything I've done. I know I can't but somehow expect I should perform to perfection even though perfection is unobtainable. I know this is unrealistic and illogical. I know that even failure is inevitable. I'm 34 and can't fathom a future without that feeling over my head. | /r/MensRights | 29/04/20 10:57 AM
My professor referred to me (male) as a woman. Twice.I think that's evident by his reaction of the second mistake. Perhaps the worst part was his overreaction to the mistake though. Appologise, correct yourself and move on, no need for a performance. | /r/MensRights | 27/01/20 10:29 PM
Women have no right to complain about not being nominated for best director in the oscarsThat was simply put. Selective equality | /r/MensRights | 27/01/20 01:53 AM
Why Mislead People With Statistics?I agree. Gender is brought into gender nuetral issues far too much. E.g. Let's not stop domestic violence on women specifically. Let's stop domestic violence to all instead. You don't want every person as a statistic, it devalues them as people! | /r/MensRights | 20/01/20 01:37 AM
"Millenial men have gone soft- but it's not our fault"- an interesting take on the debate of manliness and femininity.People in general don't like building/doing things. We have a disposable and outsource mentality to the point that everything needs to be as convenient as possible else get a new one already ready to go. It's a completely different discussion and not bound to gender. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/20 09:13 PM
Men Have Become "Economically Unattractive" As Women Earn more Money And Graduate CollegeHypergamy is real It may cause an interesting shift over time. The highest class females and lowest class males may end up without compatible mates. Ideally as society shifts to equality partner selection should shift also bringing it all into balance. | /r/MensRights | 07/09/19 03:02 AM
