Thank you. I already put in a call to him.

It’s not communal and I don’t expect to win that on that but I’m just putting down everything.

Alimony $2600/mo for 13 years Sale of martial home with a $37,000 equalization payment to her. This would have left me with about $10k to $20 after the sale, while she gets her whole half $45k to $60K I'm supposed to keep a $10k life insurance policy naming her the beneficiary. She wants almost all the shared property. Before the filing I hammered my way into a dresser drawer she locked and refused to give me the key. The drawer had $25k in cash in it (that she took off with later). She wants me…

I think you're right and unfortunately I think I have to sign on with a different attorney.

Today is the first day I've had hope since. Thank you for confirming

Yes and he’s an experienced divorce attorney but it’s been three days since this went down and I can’t shake the thought he just wanted to be done with my case and talked me into taking a horrible deal. I’m financially ruined. I’m too old to dig out of this hole and too poor to survive it.

I regret the settlement I accepted. I should have gone to trial and slung it out.

Thanks. I wish I could share her PPO statement. I bet I'm not the first to feel this way but it's insane

My attorney set it up.
/r/Divorce_Men12/02/24 08:44 PM

She'll just bust a door and I'll have to pay for it. She already did an interior one. That one almost got her arrested, but I fucked up and did the 'good guy' thing instead.

It would be saving about $190/mo (we old) but point taken.

Thanks. I have already decided against it. My company HR guy set me straight.

Actually, the guy who does hr at my company is really nice (odd, right?) and he just now brought up some very good points: 1) She probably has to be offered COBRA insurance if I take her off 2) I'd probably be liable for 100% of the premium. Keeping her on my existing policy the company pays 50% of the premium. So it should probably stay as is. It's purely for finances; not trying to be vindictive about it, so I guess it stays.

Well, she took the car and that is the very reason I'm keeping her on the auto policy. As far as health insurance goes, I figure she can probably get something affordable through obamacare.

Find a way of securing a room you sleep in (lock or jamb) Well, that happens to be why the police where here in the first place: 5am and she uses her bodyweight to bust the door to the room I was sleeping in. Showed the cops that video and that's why they offered to arrest her. I have to replace the damn door now. I need this friggin house on the market asap and get this shit behind me.

Thanks for your input. I have some of those things covered, some not. I have outdoor cams. I should probably get a few indoor ones. I definitely have a lawyer and we have already filed for her to vacate the premises. Justice moves slowly.

That was f-ing cathartic. I needed that.

I know. I know. I see it too. I have the bug-out bag already packed and I'm keeping my toothbrush and briefcase on me everywhere I go. I think that's all I can do, but you're completely right, she's broken all trust and I should expect her to be capable of almost anything.

I just unplugged mine. STBX is such a luddite she’ll never figure it out.

Still got head on the semi-regular, but it was goddamn weird. I came to call them 'pity blow-jobs'. Call me an prick, but if I ever meet the guy I look forward to informing him that her tongue was firmly in my ass.
