I have always swiped left on every man not stating his desire for commitment/long term relationship or indicating even being open to short term. I don’t have casual sex and have no plans to ever do so. Sex is the most intimate thing two people can share together IMO, if I don’t share a connection with you it’s not happening
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/24 10:58 AM

Agreed. It should be no less than 9 figures
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/24 05:24 PM

I’m sorry that you are going through that. I’m a 26 year old autistic virgin with OCD and I went through a serious few years of Agoraphobia to the point I wouldn’t go to the doctors or even out the front garden. I live with my parents who are thankfully understanding but I did end up hospitalised due to a suicide attempt, My previous medication made me gain 150lbs in six months and I didn’t brush my hair for a good year. While in the moment knowing others like me served no purpose, looking back …

Modern dating has its pros and cons, an example of this is that people are no longer forced to get married/have children if they don’t want to. I notice a lot of the manosphere talks about not wanting to get married, which means this would be a good thing

I’m a woman that would like to stay home with the kids and take care of them. The cost of living crisis means that the guy needs to make enough for a comfortable living for an entire family which is not easy to find. I also think that nowadays this is less common and a large majority of mothers have careers and jobs that they love, which also causes problems with tradcons seeing them as masculine. There are ways in which both men and women cannot win and this is one that women no matter what the…

I think it depends if people are willing to accept the consequences of it. If you want to be delusional and then complain non stop then it’s probably an issue and you should reevaluate, if you want to be delusional and you’re fine being single forever without complaint there’s nothing that will change that persons mind otherwise

How many people can afford to have kids at 20? People go 50/50 out of necessity. And then maybe if they’re lucky enough they can afford to have 1-2 kids which mostly being in your thirties still gives you time for. Sure you won’t have time to pop out eight kids but how many people would even want that

I do think 50/50 has its issues, and if you only want one part of it ie equality in only finances or only household chores then you should reevaluate for your relationships. If everything is a point scoring system and you keep track of things to an exact percentage you’ll never truly be comfortable. A good relationship is give and take and will always be fluid, sometimes someone might become ill and lose their job in which case the other partner might have to take over for a while, similar to pr…

People can be shamed for anything, depends how they react. You can shame me for dating online but if I feel no shame for it then I’m unlikely to stop my behaviour. We had really good sex-Ed, throughout multiple years all the way from 9-16 years old. It’s a standard throughout the country though and I even believe that Catholic schools still have to teach it because it’s a legal requirement.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/24 07:34 AM

I don’t want a man in the top 1%, I want a man in the top 0%. Aka he only exists in my mind and won’t yell at me for eating the last ice cream in the freezer

Not really, I have great men in my family too. I think I’m just scared of being mocked/rejected by them since it’s what I’ve mostly experienced before
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/24 05:40 PM

I rarely leave the house and find it hard to accept any compliments from people. I’ve never had a relationship/boyfriend and while everyone else I know has had multiple, there’s still some kind of disconnect for me in interacting with men face to face.

If I’ve ever gone out to a restaurant/event my friends look out for me as I’m shy, autistic and find it hard to talk to guys. They have protected me before and know when I’m feeling uncomfortable. If the conversation with the guy is wanted and the girl actually likes him there are no friends that would get in between that.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/24 01:49 PM

Every single thing you’ve ever liked, someone else has liked it before you. Saying you’re not like other guys/girls? Other people do that too. We’re a species with no original ideas and most of us have basic likes and interests, who cares? I assumed OP is anti-LGBT/Christian but then it would make no sense to be more angry at one than the other
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 07:46 PM

I get feeling upset if someone uses you as a “lavender marriage” ie they have no sexual attraction to your gender but that doesn’t make it assault or rape. Also never been entirely sure why people would have issues with dating bi people in general considering they’re still going to be attracted to you. Any time I’ve seen it, it’s come from homophobic and anti LGBT religious people, not someone anyone that is decent should want to date in the first place

Reading OPs post again the problem seems to be that she doesn’t save or invest the money, but like you said if she’s paying half of all expenses what she does with the rest of her money is up to her

I can’t see the issue if she’s bringing in money to the house and wants to buy things that she feels keep her beautiful. People want someone that’s attractive until they realise being attractive costs money

It benefits me a ton. I have OCD and autism which aren’t curable but better managed by the medicine I take daily. Took me a while to find the right one but I’m happy, healthy and have a normal libido still. If a guy doesn’t want to date me because of my medication that’s perfect as we’re likely to have very different world views and opinions on people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/23 02:55 PM

I’m sure there are some people that can be, but I would say that it’s less common than the other way around. Most people want to be at least attracted to their partner at first and then they get to know their personality etc

As a woman that’s attracted to older men it generally depends on how attractive that older man is. If anything it’s a higher threshold to find an older man attractive in comparison to men around my age, but those men I do find attractive I consider them more attractive than those my age if that makes sense

I would say that the biggest reason is probably wanting children, especially if for a while she’s on maternity leave and wants to stay home at least until the kids are in some kind of schooling during the day. It’s probably also in part the reason for declining birth rates as for most couples it’s not financially viable for only one partner to cover all of the costs. A lot of red pill accounts will talk about sluts and OF and then turn around and promote those same people and even date them which is understandable as they want to be with someone they find attractive, but it also doesn’t fit the narrative.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/23 10:28 PM

That’s not how it works. When people date someone they’re not attracted to it often ends in resentment or dead bedrooms and infidelity.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 03:12 PM

If women had flexible sexualities they’d be dating the guys. Instead they’re finding people they’re attracted to or being single. No one wants to be single but dating someone you’re attracted to > single > someone you’re not attracted to
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 03:08 PM

Both men and women 80 years ago ate better, were healthier and fitter and I’d argue were much more attractive back then. There’s a video of a body building competition where clearly no one is on steroids or very few are and the comments are filled with women talking about how much better the men looked then. Both genders have this idea that people looked better.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 03:04 PM

You can become attracted to someone over time, but that doesn’t mean that you can become attracted to everybody. If it was that easy to do most would do it and have a good relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 02:59 PM

If people could change what they’re attracted to they would already. People lose attraction to long term partners that they still love, if we could change that we would. It’s just part of life
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/23 02:37 PM

Women aren’t a monolith the same as men. Some men want to be the provider, others want to be 50/50 or provided for, this is the same for women. I’ve also found that career women are called too ‘’masculine” and some men online want soft feminine women that aren’t overly independent. There is no way to win for either gender, find someone that likes you and wants the same things as you do and hope you’ll be happy. It’s all you can do

I know sugar babies, they are definitely not looking for slightly wealthy men. They want the multi millionaires with yachts and private jets. Women can now earn the same as men for just as much effort, so it has to be financially viable to even bother to gold dig vs just working.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 04:16 PM
40

Not for me personally. I’m a virgin and see sex as the most intimate thing two people can do together. It’s one thing to try casual sex and realise it’s not for you, but this number hints at someone that views intimacy differently than I do and therefore we’d be incompatible. I don’t have a minimum but I’d say anymore than 10-15 and it would worry me about incompatibility.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 01:19 PM

And 90% of men want women to be young attractive and feminine. The amount of people that fit each of those groups is smaller than the amount of people that want them. You then either have to choose between being single or changing your standards

Which is fine to want those things, but they specifically choose women that aren’t like that and invite them on the show to own them for not being like that… it’s just rage bait content

Loving your parents is good and healthy. A mommas boy or daddy’s girl essentially wants to date their parent and you will never be good enough or measure up to that.

I would be open to a non virgin the same as a virgin, as long as they also viewed sex as something special and didn’t really partake/enjoy casual sex. I’m currently dating online but I’m pretty similar to the woman you know, I’m autistic and don’t really leave the house, as well as shy so I have a home gym that I use every day and it makes it harder to meet people
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 08:58 PM

Cheating is a sign of bad impulse control regardless of gender. I don’t care why or how you cheated, but in no way will I stand by a cheating partner, a person is only as good as their word and if you betray that trust, you are not a moral or good person
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 09:43 AM
2

There would have to be at least some kind of attraction there for me to go on a date with a guy. I don’t like to leave the house much so I don’t see the point if I don’t at least hope for a future relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 05:48 AM

Women have to work. There aren’t enough men that can afford to provide, plus many men don’t want to and would like their partner to pay equal which is also fair (&the whole no gold digger thing). If we want to survive unless we’re disabled and receive SSI/benefits or have family wealth there is no choice. Plus, imagine how long you’d have to wait to find a partner willing to cover your costs, how would we live in the meantime 🤷🏼‍♀️

On a bad date I would insist on paying even if he offered for moral reasons. 1. I wouldn’t want to see him again, and 2. There’s no expectations of a second date and I would feel guilty for accepting it knowing that. The only date I’ve ever had I offered to split and the guy was offended and we never went on a second date 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m pretty traditional and it feels special if a man offers to pay but I never want to assume.

I’m well aware that they’re just as bad if not have done worse things in the past, I have never been abroad so I can say that I really have no desire to support any of them, in my own country I strive to support workers rights by donating to unions and endorsing strikes to improve working conditions and pay

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:55 PM

People who haven’t cheated should have the right to decide whether they stay with someone that makes the accusation that they’ve cheated
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:46 PM

I like the way you think
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:36 PM

Why not?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:08 PM

The guy is someone that as soon as I saw him I felt an attraction right away. Very handsome (looked like a Disney prince) around 5ft 9, reasonably well built but not a gym bro. Was always funny and popular. The woman is about 5’8, could be a model she’s that beautiful and is pretty outgoing and confident. Neither of these people are assholes to me or anyone else that I know of
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:06 PM

That would be easier, but the government is unlikely to do something like changing the law in this situation just to get nothing in return for it
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 09:02 PM

Q4All: If you think Paternity tests should be mandatory and made a legal requirement by the government, should they then be able to keep your DNA on file?

I’m the second one and the first makes me feel uncomfortable just personally, probably some kind of ableism that I’m working on, but I hate having attention drawn to me when I’m with someone

/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 01:13 PM

Most relationships that I know of are built on trust and support. There’s a reason shows like Jerry Springer and Maury are based upon cheating accusations and paternity tests and that’s because it inevitably ends up toxic and resentment is a natural feeling from both partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 10:08 AM
11

He would have every right to ask for a paternity test, as I too would have the right to no longer feel trusted in the relationship. The majority of relationships that I’ve seen are over when there’s no trust and cheating accusations are made. It would be very difficult to move past something like that
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 08:00 AM
1

As a virgin absolutely not. I’ve met chads but I’m not about to sleep with a guy that doesn’t love me and views me as a number
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 02:23 PM
4

But then if women smash they’re sluts and whores with a high body count. Why would anyone want to sleep with someone that views them as lesser for sleeping with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 01:19 PM
3

God covers up problems, it doesn’t solve them. Then when people begin to inevitably question it the problems arise again. If the only way you will behave morally is through the threat of eternal suffering then you’re not a more moral person because of it.

Exactly. If rich people like Elon Musk are so worried about population collapse (not because he actually cares about society but because he wants to keep building his wealth and he needs underpaid workers for that) maybe he should put his money where his mouth is and pay his workers a fair wage with fair and appropriate working conditions (join your unions if you have them)

It’s one thing to have a budget, and another to be frugal which would worry me when we have children. Every person I’ve ever met that’s frugal hates the way I spend money and it just makes us incompatible

My mum worked with my dad, she thought he was weird and he had long greasy hair. He would buy her a small chocolate bar every day and she ended up falling in love with him and is more attracted to him now than ever after 25 years despite it not being there initially. Sometimes it can happen
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 09:54 PM

Oh absolutely, things aren’t black and white and sometimes when you get to know someone they overtime become more attractive to you
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 07:31 PM

There’s nothing wrong with average men but that’s not really how attraction works. I don’t view a man and say yep average, pussy unlocked. I look at him as a whole, whether I find him attractive. Whether he’s kind and we relate on similar levels and have similar world views and desires

My sims 4 save is 3000 hours and I love Disney movies. I think it just depends on what you’re into. I don’t like anime or shooting games but there are women that do

I agree, people attack women that stay at home calling them a leech, but also attack those that work for then being too masculine and saying no man will ever want her.

Finding a guy in the next year or so (I’m 26) that I share mutual attraction with, falling deeply in love with each other and then getting married. Starting a family with a few dogs too and a big garden. We would have enough money for a nice home and to make sure our children are looked after. In 60 years time I went to be able to sit on a porch together and look back with fondness about our life.

He can set his boundaries of not wanting a partner to dress like that, if she still wants to dress like that then you’re not compatible and you break up. It becomes controlling when you try and force someone without the option to choose otherwise

I still have a lot of privilege though because I’m white and don’t need to worry about money. 6/10
/r/AllPillDebate21/09/23 08:22 PM

Absolutely, my little brother had a recruiter come to his school yesterday offering apprenticeships. Young people have less job opportunities outside of college and uni especially if you’re not interested in those kinds of career paths, so it’s not surprising they feel like it’s one of the best options
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 07:31 PM

The police definitely, and then I’d say anyone that thinks that the military is always in the right and doesn’t do just as bad things as other countries. I don’t blame young people that feel forced to sign up in desperation
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 07:26 PM

I Hope they at least treat you well. I’ve seen too many vets that were just seen as a body/number and then abandoned when they’re no longer “useful”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 07:23 PM

Depends, am I a man that just got a happy ending or a family destroyed in Iraq
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/23 07:14 PM

Then the rich that declare war for their personal interests should do it instead of going to high schools to recruit young people with little prospects who will sign their body away in desperation

Just the same feeling of disgust

True. Having entire spaces filled with tips and tricks on how to get partners is chasing them. I feel the same about FDS etc, you can say don’t chase someone as much as you like, if you’re spending that much time thinking about how to attract someone, you’re chasing.

Agreed. Most young people especially are terminally online, and seeing constantly attractive people skews our perceptions of both others and ourselves. Young women see men liking women that look like only fans models, and young men see women liking men that look like steroid users. It’s unrealistic but its easy to feel inferior and drives people to extremes.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/23 09:08 AM

Disagree. I’m nothing in looks in comparison to these beautiful celebrity women and seeing people say, ew she’s mid actually makes women feel like shit. If someone that’s actually beautiful doesn’t stand a chance, what hope do the rest of us have

I believe people can have whatever standards they want. But if as many claim 18-25/35 is the most desirable preference, doesn’t that make it similar to the 80/20 split of what they say is women chasing the top men. If 100% of men want a small percentage of women, is it really any different?

It’s extremely difficult to navigate the dating system as an autistic person. Outcomes don’t negate the fact that being social and having to navigate the outside world is extremely difficult for all of us, that is all I meant.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 03:04 PM

True. I’ve been paying my bills for years with Monopoly money and no one says a thing
/r/AllPillDebate05/09/23 02:55 PM

Still less likely than NT women, plus the 3x more likely to be manipulated/abused statistic. I do agree that ND men have it harder in dating, that still doesn’t make it any easier for an autistic woman.

I have an Instagram but I don’t post much, Have 60 followers and no one in my DMs. I use it more to keep in touch with friends.

No worries, I’m autistic and shy so I do agree its probably not the norm but I notice it a lot in ND women and there are many of us

Low Self Esteem can also mean you don’t think you deserve anyone so don’t try.

You don’t think women can have such low self esteem that they don’t even try? I’m pretty sure femcels are a thing too

There are those of us that don’t even think we deserve a match

/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/23 11:37 AM

Also not a job per say, but anyone that goes hunting is an absolute no I would never consider them.

At this point I wonder if it’s even a gender based thing. Surely as someone that’s engaging in consensual sex with the other person you would want them to have a good time and at least try(unless it’s some kink type of denial)

A lot of what we see here is men saying they prefer less sexually experienced women. I’ve never believed that to be true in real life situations but as a virgin, I would require a lot of patience and foreplay if I were to have sex, certainly way more than five minutes and what would be the point if we both weren’t able to get pleasure from that

I don’t care what two other consenting adults do with their time. As long as no one is being forced or breaking the law then I’m all for it. Agreed, you only have to look at girl friendship groups to see this. My friends love their boyfriends and are attracted to them, I on the other hand feel no attraction. The same is vice versa to the people I find attractive. It’s 2023, most women (not all of course) wouldn’t be partnered with someone they didn’t find at least a little bit sexually attractive.

If I were to one day have kids, It would be more about protecting them in case of a tragic event and I wouldn’t want to have them with someone I’m not married to for that reason. When you have kids everything becomes about protecting them over yourselves. A FWB in this situation would be a terrible idea.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 10:30 PM

Here in the UK we seem to be referred to gynaecologists. I know they want to check first that I don’t have an abnormal hymen but since I’ve always had periods and I have issues around being physically touched they think it’s more likely to be the former.

As a 26 year old virgin, I would say yes. I still have urges that I take care of myself. It would be nice to have a partner but I am reasonably happy with my personal relationships to make up for that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 10:08 PM
3

I agree, there are many aspects of what OP describes that I would want in a relationship but in no way is this common for anyone and it’s inappropriate to ask others that have no interest in this kind of relationship to take part in one.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 02:56 PM
8

Personally I like all of these things, but the huge majority of women I know are the complete opposite and this kind of relationship would be their worst nightmare. There’s nothing wrong with either perspective, the issue is when you try and force someone that doesn’t have these tendencies into something like this, and that’s the case for both genders, for example plenty of men enjoy being submissive as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/23 12:40 PM
2

It’s up to the individual couple in this case but for me I would say no and suggest we break up if either of us weren’t comfortable not having sex and wanting it with other people/not willing to wait. I think it also depends on the reason as well, if your partner is super unwell and you want to look elsewhere that shows signs of immaturity to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/23 05:11 PM
2

I would prefer him to be view sex as something to be shared between people that love eachother. If he had tried casual sex once or twice and didn’t enjoy it I would understand, as well as being in a few committed relationships. I would never tolerate dating or marrying a man who has cheated and I won’t budge on that
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/23 04:08 PM

Absolutely agree, I put way less thought on my virginity before the discourse became more widespread and it’s made me fearful to even look for a partner sometimes incase he could be the wrong one

Height makes a huge difference in how we look, it can impact the amount we need to weigh to be healthy, our BMR, the amount of work it takes for muscle to show etc. Whilst it may be shallow it is a valid preference for dating unless within the relationship you suddenly decide someone isn’t good/tall enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 11:53 AM
5

I’ve met people of both genders that will do anything for money, especially when they’re desperate. In terms of attractiveness though I wouldn’t say a lottery win makes you more attractive although it will give you access to things that can improve your looks such as plastic surgery, personal trainers etc

If you both work the same amount of hours and then when you get home one partner is expected to do all of the chores because the other person makes more, it’s definitely going to lead to some resentment. In an ideal world everything would be 50:50, but people are always going to have different incomes and different skill sets. It’s about coming together as a partnership to find out what does and doesn’t work for you

At 26 my age range is set from 26-45. I like older guys and couldn’t see myself dating anyone younger but in my social circle I’m an outlier and most of my friends date around the same age give or take 2-3 years

Taller than me (I’m 5ft 3 so 5ft 5 upwards), handsome face, well built/ muscular, usually dark full hair and dark eyes but blue eyes can be cute. Older than me, Kind to others, good with animals and kids in front of me. Smells good, Dresses nicely and is clean as well as funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/23 07:28 AM

Every time I see a thread like this the age is always going down, it started at 17, went to 16 and now we’re down to 14. It’s sickening

The mundane things, washing each others dirty laundry, cleaning up after them when they’re sick. Sitting next to someone every single night and not wanting to be anywhere else with anyone else. The moments when other people would throw in the towel and give up because it’s too difficult but you don’t because you love them. When you’re 90 years old and looking back at everything and those moments that you suffered through together aren’t even what you remember most, but they made you stronger.

There are a lot of traditional women that stay home with a husband that provides as there are a lot of modern women that have no interest in being only fans stars/cheaters. This whole post is an exaggerated caricature of what a woman is.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/23 01:10 PM

To me it depends on how extreme each persons views are. I’m pretty left myself so someone that’s right wing is likely to clash with a lot of my views. It’s one thing to have different opinions on how to improve things for everyone. It’s another to disagree on what fundamental rights should and should not exist ie gun laws, abortion laws etc.

1) No more dishonesty. Everyone is open about what they do and don’t want from each-other up front. 2) No ghosting. Unless you’re in danger and have to cut off contact the decent thing is to let the other person know you’re no longer interested 3) Better ways for people to know who is single and interested in dating in real life, at the moment unless you go to bars and clubs it can be difficult to meet other people that are open to dating outside of apps.

There is no attractiveness level for me to look past criminal history. I also wouldn’t date someone that has cheated, earns money by taking advantage of people or is disrespectful to servers/retail workers. My morals come first even if he looks like a movie star.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 10:13 PM

People that look ideal often want other people that look ideal. A model is likely to want someone of similar attractiveness or wealth equivalent. Most of us are average, will find love with other people who are similar and that’s okay. Love makes you forget flaws and see everything that’s beautiful about that person.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/23 10:10 PM

What about actually autistic women?
/r/AllPillDebate26/07/23 04:41 PM

PPD normally : women are whores that have too much casual sex just for pleasure and don’t think about their future. PPD today : actually women are prudes and don’t even enjoy sex, they demand something first rather than just having sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 03:10 PM

Women enjoy the pleasure that she can get from a partner that cares about her and wants to make sure she enjoys herself. That’s not about what you can gain from sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 03:03 PM
10

You can enjoy something and not want to do it all the time with every one. Not wanting to have sex with someone you barely know or feel safe around doesn’t mean you don’t enjoy it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/23 02:58 PM

A lot of men seek a woman that is non traditional and will pay her half to avoid gold diggers and being taken advantage of. A large percentage of the population no longer wants to be traditional from both genders
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 06:47 PM
2

Too many people want traditional partners without being willing to pay the price that entails. Want a virgin that’s submissive and wants to be a mother? Be prepared to take care of her and wait until marriage. Want a guy that will take care of your and pay for you? Be prepared to take care of the household, cook the meals and be nurturing too. Having the choice to be equals works well for a huge majority of people with the modern economy.

Sadly there is no true way of knowing, but there are steps you can take to protect yourself and your heart. I’m a virgin at 26 and plan on waiting until I at least feel comfortable with a guy and we’ve spent a lot of time together both publicly and privately, if that means I’m single and a virgin forever it’s a better alternative than being heartbroken and immediately discarded. I grew up bullied for being ugly and autistic and that’s had a huge impact on how I view myself now and I’ve never felt beautiful. I am feminine, submissive for the right guy but that requires me to have strong and healthy boundaries with others and I won’t allow anyone to take advantage of me. Reminds me of this quote “It’s not my job to make you feel like a man, I can’t make you something you’re not”. Who you are has to come from within and not be reliant on how another person treats you, otherwise you can easily be taken advantage of by them.

Have you lived in America? All of those things are placed at the feet of the individual, that’s why people go bankrupt paying for life saving treatment and people are one paycheck away from losing everything.

I think they’re doing the best they can out of a difficult decision to put themselves out there knowing the people they’re being broadcast to likely hate them and will shit on them so that they can improve their lives financially. More brave than I could ever be

Have you ever seen the clips that go viral, it’s always people dunking on each-other. Those are the videos which get way more views and for a grifter that wants to make money of course they’re going to do that, they’re never going to say oh guess I have enough now.

Most super rich people absolutely suck, or at least the ones I have met are. If you’re willing to take advantage of people in need by underpaying them, exploiting their needs to make profit etc then you’re not someone I’m interested in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 04:43 PM

If you’re in a relationship that you’ve agreed to be loyal in and you sleep with another person, maybe you don’t love the person you’re cheating with but you aren’t thinking about your partner and how they feel and the betrayal that you’re taking part in. Someone that loves you would never even dream of hurting you in that way.

So the women are more feminine and the men are more masculine?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:59 AM

As a woman, if a man asked me to do this I would say no. I would pay for bills but I don’t feel comfortable dating my landlord
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/23 10:20 AM

Yes I’m lucky enough to have family financial support but I’m also disabled so I would likely be unable to work anyway. I would be more than happy to financially contribute my fair share to a relationship but it does put people off which is understandable
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:35 PM
3

I don’t have a job, still financially secure but a large amount of men I speak to are pretty turned off when I say I don’t have a career/ambition to run some kind of business. Someone is always going to dislike you and what you stand for, you have to find someone that accepts you for it
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:30 PM
2

Because if I’m already talking to someone and have started to feel something for them it’s not as easy as just talking to someone else. I struggle to keep up with the friends I do have, speaking to multiple guys and having the same conversations constantly starting over sounds awful
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 06:26 PM
7

As someone that needs time to develop an emotional connection before I would get into any physical relationship, it doesn’t matter how many other men would be asking me out as if I’m already trying to build an emotional connection with Jack (which can be exhausting) I have no desire to try and start making a whole new connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 04:15 PM

Just a personal preference, I’m not a particularly assertive person and rely on others to speak for me which is often due to my autism but also I find it hard to do so. My ideal man would understand that and be supportive in that way
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 05:21 PM
2

That’s fair, I’m 26 years old and haven’t slept with anyone but I’m also not religious whilst I imagine most men like me would be. I’m okay with being single if that’s the case
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 04:59 PM
4

I’m relatively submissive and feminine, I also would submit for the right man which I have yet to find and would prefer if we had mutual attraction for each-other. Wanting a partner you’re attracted to doesn’t mean that you hate the other gender or want to live without them. Both have a valuable place and worth in society
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 04:29 PM
16

Over half of the women in the UK don’t have children by age 30 because we know how much it costs. If not being able to find a partner that we have mutual attraction with means that we’re single and have no children evidently that’s fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/23 04:05 PM

I think it all depends on if the person is willing to stay single if they can’t find the person they’re looking for. A lot of people are now choosing not to date at all and are okay with that

Lucky to be in a position where I don’t have to work which makes being less stressed a huge positive, regular expensive facials, exercise classes, being able to wear and afford feminine clothes. I always tell guys at the beginning, not that I’ve ever really dated much but on the rare occasions I have told them. The men I’ve told are kind enough to tell me that they’re just looking for something casual or someone more experienced which saves the both of us time and me from getting hurt. My reasoning is that I see sex as the most intimate act between humans, and something I only want to share with a guy that I’m truly and deeply connected to. Exactly this, the way you grow up and are treated by your peers has a huge impact on how you see yourself and how you act around others. It’s not easy to get past the fact that you are still the same person but others now treat you differently too
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 02:01 PM
3

Insecurity is a big thing that can also impact how others view you. When you feel negative about yourself you start to neglect basic things like self care including exercise and hobbies + things you enjoy which give you the opportunity to meet others. I’m in this position after growing up ridiculed for my appearance and I’m well aware it’s probably self imposed but that doesn’t make it any easier to work through
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 01:22 PM

No I exercise 5-6 times a week, just autistic and weird
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/23 05:26 AM

As someone who is also pretty much a shut in it does sound ridiculous and a little strange but a lot of the reason we shut ourselves away is to avoid hurt and ridicule as well as being shy and nervous around others. This is especially amplified in dating and as much as I wish I could go and search for someone the fear of being hurt overwhelms that desire
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 07:34 PM

It all depends on whether the person is okay being alone, and this goes for both genders. If you don’t want to lower your standards but you’re desperate for a relationship it’s likely to be an issue, but if you’re okay with staying single then nothing is going to change that
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/23 07:15 PM

I’m autistic so I’d definitely find it easier to date a guy that’s neurodivergent rather than NT

It’s never been easy to come by for me, I’m autistic, grew up ugly as fuck and have never had any romantic interactions. If I wanted validation perhaps I could go looking for it but I have no desire to, why would I want something I’ve never had or seen the need to get
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:52 PM
10

Oh yeah it’s definitely more of a generalisation and there are people from both genders that aren’t interested in casual sex as well as it also being true in the opposite direction
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:28 PM
10

That’s why I made it clear that “some women” feel that way rather than just saying women or all women
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 05:26 PM
20

I only need validation from family and loved ones, and have no desire for attention when I rarely leave the house. The admiration of people I don’t know means nothing in comparison to love from those who I care about
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:51 PM
24

You’re right I don’t see it as an advantage as the view points between genders mostly differ and the idea of having sex with someone I don’t love is repulsive from my perspective. I grew up being called ugly and receiving no attention from boys and even now I barely notice any, have never gone on a date and will likely remain a virgin by choice rather than sleep with someone I don’t truly love. It’s just different
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:33 PM
52

The biggest difference is that for some women casual sex isn’t at all desirable and that’s a huge disparity between the sexes. Having sex with someone you’re not connected to is an absolute turn off and is why we’re seeing sexlessness rates in women rise too.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 04:27 PM
64

Agreed from the women’s perspective although I can’t speak for men. Being single is something I see as neutral rather than a negative, sure a relationship would be nice and I’d like to have one but that doesn’t mean that it’s worth being in a bad relationship. Sometimes you have to put yourself first so that you don’t get hurt

I think that people can be multifaceted and aren’t just one thing. I am hugely passionate about politics, volunteering and help with homelessness whilst also privately making donations. At the same time I like nice watches and jewellery and own a Kelly, maybe that makes me a hypocrite but I believe that people deserve at least the bare minimum of housing & healthcare. Wealth is something that we can share and paying our fair share of taxes is one way to do that too.

/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 01:44 PM

Yes absolutely I concede that, I think we’re all socialised to expect certain things including women to just happen, romance being one of them. Realising that it doesn’t is one of the harshest parts of it all
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 09:59 PM

Maybe I believed that as a kid but when you hit adulthood the first thing you learn is not to take anything for granted and that nothing in life is guaranteed. We’re not guaranteed partners or success or even health so we have to do the best we can with what we have. It’s one thing to express upset over dating problems and how life is going, it’s another to continue to expect something that we learn isn’t true.

I see a lot of people say that men have low standards for sex, but high standards for commitment. If the majority of women want committed relationships with sex rather than casual hookups surely that confirms that men also have high standards similar to how people consider women having high standards when it comes to hookups. To me it’s just the situations reversed and both have high standards when it comes to what the other gender wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 09:34 AM

I actually see a lot of criticism in online spaces from young women on social media sites like tik tok and twitter. We’re discussing self improvement in the context of dating and whether it helps you find a partner. If you do things that make you considered more attractive as well as improve other factors it contributes to helping you find a partner. Would you say that women force men to self improve then? I agree men do not force us to do any of these things, but then you could say women do not either. You don’t think it’s a people thing rather than a gendered thing? I grew up being called ugly and weird for being autistic by boys and guys, never dated because they laughed at me when I even tried despite my shyness. Overweight people had less options. There’s a reason companies like Victorias Secret had to do a complete rebrand and it was the behaviour of the executives, the way they treated the women that modelled for them forcing them to unhealthy extremes, and people wanting to see themselves reflected in advertising. Lots of us have been told that sex lowers our value and if our n count is above a certain number we’re worthless sluts, I don’t agree with it but I can see why some women think sex can be a bad thing
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/23 02:38 PM

For me I’m the complete opposite and need compatibility and emotional connection before I would feel comfortable having sex. I’ve met people that I was not initially attracted to that over time getting to know them I became physically attracted but without an emotional connection it never goes anywhere

For that reason I wouldn’t want someone to pay my mortgage and it would be better to contribute elsewhere. I have no desire to take advantage of peoples need for housing

Paying bills is fair, but if she’s paying rent surely she might as well pay for the mortgage and they share the home? I don’t want to be dating my landlord

Apparently he’s a tradcath Nazi so I’m sadly not surprised

I agree, I think too many people don’t take their vows seriously enough and that’s why marriage definitely isn’t for everyone. The redpill does have takes that I agree with so it’s just muddying the water. If anyone is ever abusive towards you, it’s your right to be safe and leave that marriage as both a man or woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:34 PM

I’d say if we were married with a child no, our resources should be going on making the best life we can for them. Otherwise it’s a bit weird but it’s his money, is there a reason why he’s doing it? Ie she is in a difficult financial situation

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
