It's frustrating how petty the posts here can be at times. I'm glad that there are people in this thread that can see reason. This whole issue is such a petty thing to get pissed at feminists about and people here need to learn how to pick their battles. The guy sounds like a dick and probably deserved to be fired.

Where do you draw the line though and start distancing yourself from people with extreme views? If a hypothetical guy came in here saying "all women are sluts", I feel that guys I'd detrimental to the cause.

Honestly, because your comment is the extremist side of MRA and the type that gets held up as a shining example of how "all MRA are crazy." Not trying to shit on you. You asked so I said it. This whole MRA thing is a good cause but there comes a point when a person can get way way way too invested in it. It comes accross as militant and cult like. I've been there before. Ease up bro.

Tread extremely carefully my friend. I was in the exact same position as you and I'm still wrapping up the last of my divorce 2 years later. It's costed me close to 8k just to walk away as cleanly as possible from a marriage with no kids or assets. I'd pay that money all over again if I had to. The only thing I would have changed is getting my lawyer involved from the get go.

I agree. It reminds me of the social experiments you see where "lets take something a man does and swap it with a woman and see society's horrible reaction" or vice versa. There's enough wrong with her tweet for valid criticism, but I guess an explanation isn't catchy or viral enough.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
