The interesting bit is that Piers Anthony did a really good job of addressing the first poster in his early Xanth books, particularly the first one, A Spell for Chameleon. But instead of "This is abuse. You don't have to stand for it," he might have included, "People are like that. You should probably engage in some introspection to make sure that you do your best, even in your stupidest moments."

It's not that porn gives men unrealistic body expectations of women. It's that humans have let their bodies go to shit. Of course I don't find the average woman attractive. The average woman is obese.

I want that to be the case, and I think a lot of time it is. But the reality is that there are just as many shit dads as shit moms out there, and those two reasons are not always the primary reasons (for fathers or mothers), even if they should be. It's not woman-hating bullshit. It's not man-hating bullshit. It's having seen a ton of fucked up divorces.

To be fair, for the average woman, the delusion there is that their self-esteem and confidence should match the made-up image, and not the fat-rolls-and-no-tone. I can understand why their self esteem and confidence go down without it. The part I don't get is why they go up with it.

This doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Certainly, for some women you can make that argument. But other women contribute more to society, and all women pay taxes.
/r/MensRights30/12/16 05:11 PM

I guess the problem I see in your argument is that you make a logical jump to "all women" that doesn't work.

FWIW, I wouldn't marry a woman who wanted to go clubbing for her bachelorette party. But that would be abundantly clear by the time it got to that point. I would interpret that sort of bachelorette party as a de facto ending of the relationship. Since she broke off the relationship, she'd be on the hook for all of the sunk costs involved in the wedding and otherwise, even if it breaks her financially. That being said, there are guys who don't feel that way, but I would suggest that's because the…

Not really. I've lived outside of America for a long time, and every place does the same thing with their own citizens, because it makes the story more relevant to their audience, and it'd be be the first question on many of their audience's minds.

I think you are right, if you are judging the actions of the murderers. But I think that the reason this appears here is because of the difference in the reaction of news sources when the victims are male and not female. The point of interest isn't the terribleness of the action (not in doubt in any way) but the action of the people reporting the story, who are spinning these stories in a marketable way, and thus valuing male victims lower than female ones.

Let's be honest. Rhythmic gymnastics, figure skating, ice dancing, and opening/closing ceremonies are a thing in the Olympics. As long as they are, arguing that there's a male bias in the Olympics is prima facie retarded.

This is the part that gets me. I'm very comfortable letting the movie live or die on it's own merits. But the anti-male means of marketing means that I won't be spending money to watch it. And that means that I won't get a chance to give this movie a fair shake for a long while.

I feel like I have to chime in because I had a similar experience, except that my parents were married. But they were a part of that feminist movement that had a legitimate fight on their hands back in the day. But my dad, like many men, is a less-words-more-doing man, and felt pressured to go along with the feminist fantasy in public. It meant that I was raised similarly to you guys, but in hindsight, I can see how my father tried to quietly show us what was up without rocking the boat. Sadly, …

Best possible scenario, dude. If they didn't stand by you, fuck 'em. They weren't worth keeping around. You got out at a perfect time. Crush vagina 10 years younger than you like it's aint no thing, and when they try to get you to commit, you tell them the story of your marriage. You're exactly what women fear: an adult male that knows their value.
/r/askTRP23/02/16 03:06 PM

That's strange, because I'm about the same age, and girls schedule themselves around each other for me.

Not gonna happen. The current batch of women were raised to believe that they have more value on the marketplace then they actually have. This is sad, because they have a painful lesson coming to them as they hit about 28. But it means all you have to do is stay single and fit, and not get anyone pregnant until you're about 30, and then life will feel very, very different.

Are we talking Ex-LTR or ex-STR? Because my general rule with the STRs (girls that usually walked away on amiable terms and still want back in) is "try to swing the threeway."

What would you do without her? I've given up on "dates" - I go do the cool shit that I want to do, and if a girl wants to come with, awesome. Usually they end up turned on that you do cool shit, and you can get them back home pretty easily after spending the day doing what you wanted to do anyway.

No it isn't. It's dead simple. If I got that text, I would have gone out to a bar and taken a selfie with some bar hottie an hour or so later, with the message, "Sorry, didn't see your message 'til now. What makes you so sure that they would want you?"
/r/askTRP13/07/15 01:44 AM

Be all, "Look, I'm flattered by the attention, but you really have to work on product improvement before you're even going to have a chance at someone like me. It depends on how close they were. If they are people that can be poof gone, then they are. If they are clear in their anti-male bias, then there is no way to safely discuss it with them in person, or be around them.

From the very beginning. If they have a problem with it, I tell them that if they want an LTR, they have to earn it and keep it. I have standards.

I live a very healthy lifestyle. While I haven't yet had a woman come up far enough to LTR, all of them have made strides in the right direction. But they all decided that living healthy wasn't for them - which is fine for me, because then they choose to move on, and then they hit the wall somewhere down the line where all their chickens come home to roost.

I am very strongly in favor of being the good guy, and being honest and up front in everything I do. That works for being Alpha as well. I live my life the way according to a high standard of life and morality. Once you get past the idea of vagina scarcity, you realize that that honesty up front at the beginning makes women work to come up to your level, and bow out happily when they decide for themselves that they are not willing to work hard enough to keep you. If that honesty means that you d…

Ignore her. The older I get the more I realize that most individual women mean absolutely nothing. Be polite and considerate, but don't change your own schedule one bit. If she chooses to fit into your life, then run with it as long as that works. Theoretically, you might meet a woman who fits into your schedule and goals as much as you fit hers - and then you might stumble into a relationship - but those are like ROUSs - don't plan for it, just do your thing and crush the pussy that throws itse…
