You don’t have a chance to show someone what you bring to the table if he’s trying to fuck u the second he meets you. It’s like talking to a brick wall.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 09:17 PM

That’s mens first line of attack at EACH OTHER we are just jumping on the bandwagon and aiming it at men who piss us off or see us as sex objects. Cry
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 09:16 PM

Their desperation is not our problem
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 09:13 PM

“How dare average women expect kindness respect and romance from prospective partners.” Do you hear yourself? If you don’t want to romance someone leave them the fuck alone. Problem solved
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/22 09:11 PM

thats cause their politics are punishment based not outcome based. They are sadists
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 09:41 PM

only after picking a few bad ones first
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 09:36 PM

this one. Beautiful women are women manipulated and abused even if they get the occasional perk (see Brittney Spears or Marilyn Monroe) And in the lowest poverty levels you dont see as many homeless women but thats because they have stripping, prostitution to turn too, and are also often caught up in sex trafficking. Im not sure what about that is "easy mode"

Yeah ill believe the stories from women who have gone through it over you no matter how many labor and delivery rooms you've been in
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 04:57 AM

the men here all skim every paragraph and shit out this exact sentence
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 02:04 AM

You are simply refusing to understand what im saying lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 01:17 AM

Men here resent women for just having to "exist" but in reality thats just an example of them objectifying us and assuming things about our lives. Life is hard and being a woman doesn't change that. There are some perks you get but it always comes with a catch. You all want to be objectified but thats just because the grass is always greener. You get dismissed and sexualized and then you have to turn around and go back to work as if nothing happened.

You cant make girl to be attracted to you by forcing her to become a single mother - even if that makes you less attracted to her. Look at the rest of the thread he's talking about sexual slavery lol

While they don’t say “enforced monogamy” explicitly Mostly men just make moral judgements on women for NOT commiting to a good man. I just had a conversation with a dude that said it was selfish for a woman to spend her younger years single and NOT settle down with the first decent man she meets. Essentially women who prioritize their desires and dreams instead of dedicating their life to a good man are selfish if not straight up malicious. This is basically trying to set a new social standard w…

Roe V Wade is a monumental decision affecting the bodily rights of women in particular. We are currently completely changing the national interpretation of the constitution. So its getting a lot of press. And personally the idea I could be forced to be pregnant and have a baby is deeply horrifying. Because fundamentally your original point was that women's right to bodily autonomy was not of value because we breastfeed or some shit and then you got me into a heated argument. I don't agree with g…

Here you go Opiod epidemic Men v women opiod and perscription drug use Male suicide prevention center has an explanation Male homelessness These issues don't only affect men and therefore cannot be classified as a male specific issue. They affect men more in certain ways but the solution is not male specific. It would involve spending money on homelessness which the government REFUSES to do and ending pharmaceutical lobbying. You are clearly mad about men aint shit discourse which is internet speak. Without the left you would have a 7 day workweek, no vacation days, no pensions, no 401k, no labor unions, no sick…

Who do you think was against conscription in the first place post vietnam? Who do you think made workers protections a thing? Who do you think got minimum wage and OSHA instituted? You have no idea what you are talking about. Who do you think was against all these things? The fucking right wing. The "left" isnt a hive mind people identify with left wing politics have their own specific issues they care about and promote and protest over.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 06:24 PM

The left cares far more about human rights then the right does. If you care about an issue stand up and fucking fight about it. but you obviously don't you just want to make it all my fault and take no responsibility or power in your life. I could give you so many examples of the left caring about human rights, workers rights, womens rights, mens rights, children's right etc but i dont want to waste time on you. Try googling things before making outlandishly incorrect statements

As we just barely witnessed in Ukraine, conscription for only men is alive and well. I don't know why you've decided to limit the discussion of human rights to just the US? Because Roe v Wade is a U.S argument. If I used the state of women's rights in Afghanistan to make an argument about women's rights in the U.S that wouldn't exactly be relevant. March in the streets over circumcision if you feel moved too. My point is that you are using lack of bodily autonomy in specific cases to justify cri…

Tell me where I said its all mens fault. If you abandon your kid that kid is still fatherless regardless if the mother is also to blame. The whole point of my comment is that getting a financial abortion doesnt make you not a father.

But we do have other options now I.E formula. Medical abortion is a similar innovation. Would it be okay to criminalize people for getting nosejob's just because it's against someones religion, and then claim that it doesn't count as exercising bodily autonomy because the technology didn't exist 500 years ago? Conscription ended in the U.S with Vietnam and most likely will not return, and if it does its likely women will be added in. And circumcision is a religious practice I don't agree with an…

You're right, its the wealthy that have the largest carbon footprint and also the wealthy who tend to be environmental activists. But also the most environmentally friendly way to live is in a city! I support rural living and city living. its the sprawling suburbs that have to go.

It wasn't an appeal to traditionalism, I was refuting the idea that christian traditionalism, where the pinnacle of motherhood is to sacrifice your life for your child, is how it has always been everywhere. This point is what I was talking about - "I thought parents put children over their lives but maybe the times changed." I also don't think that the existence of slavery in the past necessarily makes Judaism, Christianity, or any other traditional religion/culture inherently evil and backward.

You are literally proving my point. You are more interested in punishing people for making what you deem to be bad choices then investing in ways to educate and prevent people from making them. You're a sadist. you like seeing people (and kids) fuck up and reap consequences. Just because you didn't have sex in highschool doesn't mean no one else is getting laid. And they should know how to protect themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 11:35 AM

When did I blame other people, what are you talking about? I'm saying teaching them sex ed will prevent unwanted pregnancies. You cant make good choices if you arent informed about what the choices you're making are. And if we are talking about teenagers it actually is the fault of the parents or the school if they didnt teach them. Kids must be educated. Trust me they are not soft on crime here in NYC lol. I think it just means visibly not being ashamed of your sexuality. not being ashamed of your body. Not restricting your movement and dance based on fear someone will find it inappropriate. I think hiistorically and across cultures dance has been linked to movements that can be considered sexual or erotic, sometimes purposefully (poll dancing or Geisha dancing) and sometimes traditional dances are sexualized after the fact (belly dancing) Its just a part of human self expression it feels natural …

A woman doesn't get to shirk her role as a mother as easily as a father does once the child is born. That is inherently and biologically not fair either and it cant be made up for. In our current set up men are responsible for their offspring and there ought to be consequences for them shirking it. I don't believe in the legitimacy of paper abortions in negating fatherhood in our society, it just legally absolves you of compulsion to pay child support. nothing more. In judaism the mothers life is always paramount to save up to and including during birth. You are looking at birth and motherhood from a VERY narrow and christian cultural lens. Most cultures have participated in some form of abortion for thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years. Most don't believe an embryo or a fetus is a child.

We never said practicing abstinence we said teaching abstinence specifically teaching abstinence in lieu of actual sex ed I.e how sex creates pregnancy, how to use condoms, how your cycle works. You still fathered the child. if it's out of your control to be in its life and you want to thats very sad. life can be tragic and unfair. Woman can be reported if illicit drugs are found in her system during pregnancy and often times she will be monitored and after birth the child will be rehomed by social services. Putting laws on a someones body is a moral grey area and also very hard to do. Obviously no one should smoke when they are pregnant duh. All this talk about father hood being a co…

Because he brought the child into the world. He can shove it off on others but he is still the father and he is still responsible for the childs existence and its care. What is your point about a man being denied fatherhood. Thats not a point its a statement

Which point? we are having two simultaneous conversations on different threads. Think about it like this. Two people have sex and a child is created. That child will die without being cared for. If the father leaves and the child dies of neglect he is responsible for that death. Men take women for granted and expect them to take care of their children, giving them the freedom to leave, remove their finances and, if they do enough mental gymnastics to convince themselves they are not responsibl…

Your sperm fertilized an egg. You have now fathered that child I dont know how this is hard to grasp. Knowing that your kid is being well cared for via adoption or sperm donation is one way to go about it but thats still your flesh and blood and without you it would not have existed. I definitely see your perspective. I think its part of the nuclear family model that capitalism just loves to promote. I guess where my perspective diverges in the immediate practicality of giving men an easy out for child support. I can just see the poverty gap between men and women+children widening that the thought pisses me off to be honest lol But yes to your point about childrearing being the responsibility of an entire society - I think thats very true.

It does apply though because you aren't talking about individuals, you are talking about men and women as generalized political entities. Unless you want to try and tell me that human nature has changed completely and that the genders no longer desire to dominate each other its absolutely relevant. /r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 05:35 PM

Whats a shit deal is that If I want to make a child I have to sacrifice my body for 9 months and then rip my lady parts in half and all the guy has to do is bust a load. Its also unfair that odds are I will have to do the brunt of the childrearing even if the guy stays around. If he doesn't all i get is 400 a month give or take and I cant even have a full time job myself. But i dont base my politics on whats fair because im 23 not 7 years old. Life's not fair get used to it.

I agree that the government should provide social services and support kids and not exploit them absolutely. I also think healthcare and education should be free I could go on and on. so by your reasoning why shouldnt men be ordered to pay such a nominal amount to support their kids? They already abandoned them emotionally whats the big deal? And a good portion of men who are thrown in jail for child support debt have multiple children with multiple other women, compounding the amount they owe. I would say if someone runs around leaving broken families they cant support and fatherless children in their wake they deserve whats coming to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 03:08 PM

Its based on income, so If a guy is making that little thats what he has to contribute to his kid. 430 could be an extra week for groceries or it could pay for medicine or a schoolbook. Its not nothing.

Interesting, hopefully teen pregnancies continue to drop then
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 02:32 PM

I have views on the prison system as a whole that address this though. Arguably a man going to prison for child support debt is more justifiable then him going to jail for say, weed, immigration, etc... Children need to be cared for not punished for their parents disagreements and lack of accountability so child support is necessary. Sending men to jail for it is extreme.

Having to pay child support is not, and will never be comparable to having to give birth. The most important arguments for Roe v wade in in regard to abortion, pregnancy and birth as medical traumas and procedures Get back to me when we start forcing men to seahorse carry our children for us.

Obsessing over how unloveable you are is just as narcissistic as the opposite.

I have sympathy for my guy friends who are having trouble and If I could offer advice I would, I dont have sympathy for men as a political class for finding dating hard. Its not a form of oppression and most of the time its just used as a justification to verbally degrade and spew hatred toward women (of which I am one) Why would I sympathize with a bunch of people I dont know who hate me ?

Ive never met a man who was genuinely afraid of getting baby trapped, and all the men I know have no reservations of having sex with strangers. And most men rely on women for birth control. Overall I'm seeing a few guys who openly say they don't get laid using this as a talking point, and a vast majority who dont really care either way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
