Then you must be blind to trolling. Not much else I can say.

Did you not read the first two paragraphs of the post? After reading your comment, I immediately knew you were a woman, and that your male friend probably had some sort of sexual attraction to you. I guarantee you that you would have lessened his depression A LOT if you had sex with him. Here is a message for the ladies (from a male perspective) - if you weren't such prudes, you could lessen the male suicide rate, which is 3 times higher than the female suicide rate. I guarantee you that shitty …

As a mod of the subreddit you're talking about (and also a /r/mensrights participant) - no, the above post is obviously a troll, which is why we banned you.

This is the most sensible thing I've read today. I stole your comment (I hope you don't mind - if so, let me know and I will delete!) and cross-posted it as a comment in an /r/feminism thread about this same study. Curious to see what they think of it over there. Mods: If this is against the rules let me know and I will delete the comment.

No, they don't hate men. Hate is a strong work, and they don't, because I know them. How hard is it for you peopel to believe that just because soemone's a feminist, that they don't hate men?

I don't believe in the whole "patriarchy" thing, but I know some people who do, and they certainly don't hate men.

Homophobia: unreasoning fear of or antipathy toward homosexuals and homosexuality. Straight from the dictionary.

Do you know what homophobia means? I'm pretty sure most people who are against gay stuff aren't actually scared of gay people...

When you have to resort to name calling ("moron"), you've lost the argument. "Intellectually reprehensible"? Please! By that logic, you're a "Good German" by not stopping the jihadists. You don't associate with those kinds of people? Well, neither does my girlfriend associate with those types of feminists. The whole "guilty by association" thing doesn't fly.

I disagree. That comparison is ridiculous...

But you can't just lump everyone in and say that every feminist is like that, just like you can't lump every Christian into a hate-group like Westboro Baptist. Show me how most feminists support poisonous idealogy, and I'll believe you, but until that, I need evidence.

I get what you're saying about the whole patriarchy thing, and I agree: there's no such thing. Feminists who like to tout that are wrong. However, likening them to the KKK is a little ridiculous, don't you think? The only side of feminism I know is what I see from my girlfriend, and her complaining about issues like the Texas abortion fiasco, and other things. But maybe she's on the tame side, I don't know. Everything I her from her, I agree with (mostly). I've talked with her about mens rights …

I misunderstand the ideology, then. Is not the core of feminism equality between the sexes?

I don't know anything about patriarchy theory, but I find it very hard to belive that every single organization tailored toward women lying about statistics.

"All"? This is what I don't get - one or two examples don't make the whole group bad.

I suppose, but they don't support lieing about abuse rates and discrimination. I know my that there are issues that address women, and there are issues that affect men, and the type of feminist my girlfriend is, is the type that wants to address issues that affect women, but not hurt men....if that makes any sense? I think a lot of people here on mensrights look at radical and crazy examples of feminists and apply that to the whole group.

Can someone explain this to me? I was circumcised as a baby, and was told it's a health thing. I've obviously don't know what I'm missing out on, because I've never NOT been circumcised. I know some people say that sex is better uncircumcised, but how would anyone know, unless they had 2 penises, one circumcised and one not...

From what I've heard from my feminist girlfriend and others, it's about equality between both sexes. I hate how /r/mensrights automatically thinks that all feminists want to marginalize men. Edit: I'm a man, and a subscriber of /r/mensrights. I just don't get all the hate on /r/feminism.
