| 2 | I met a girl at the gym and asked for her number. She didn't give it to me. :/I don't like cocky. Sarcastic, witty, charming, and nice are all good, but cocky is a huge turn-off. You know the saying "behind every joke there is some truth"? I think the same about the playful/overconfident dynamic. Even if it's said playfully, the guy is still coming off like he thinks he's hot shit without a chance of getting shot down. Like the rest of my generation, I like being given options- not being told what to do. | /r/seduction | 08/12/10 06:42 AM |
| 2 | I met a girl at the gym and asked for her number. She didn't give it to me. :/I wouldn't like that at all. Making a command, or an assumption like that, makes you the kind of person that I don't want having my number. | /r/seduction | 06/12/10 02:56 AM |

| 2 | Stages You Go Through As You Develop Your People SkillsI've pretty sure I've gone backwards through some of the phases. I used to be smooth, getting most of the guys I tried for, schmoozing with my parents' country club friends, and winning debate tournaments where the competitors elected a winner. Now I just don't care what people think. I'm blunt, sarcastic, and do what makes me happy rather than making everyone else happy so they like me so THAT will make me happy. Interesting read. I might need to re-evaluate some things. | /r/seduction | 06/11/10 02:06 AM |
