What is maliciously, though? If someone steadfastly refuses to use said pronouns, because they don't believe in them for example, would that count as hate crime too? Anyway, I think it's a bad idea to try to legislate matters of common courtesy.

Dear Michelle, please don't worry, darling. If that judge has any humanity in him, you'll be out with a fine and a slap on the wrist. /sarcasm

He was born in the Netherlands, but now has Israeli citizenship. Quite a military hawk, as far as I know.

In the Netherlands, Parliament has recently amended the law so that the draft (which has been suspended indefinitely, though not abolished) also applies to women of conscription age. However, when push comes to shove, I don't expect women to be assigned combat duty. They'll probably get all the cushy office jobs.

What is wrong with women? They're women. Problem solved.

While I would like to emphasize that I truly am sorry for everyone who has genuinely been raped or sexually assaulted, I also feel that Bill Cosby should not have been on trial in the first place. In the absence of unambiguous physical evidence, multiple witnesses of the act itself, or a convincing confession, there's only her word against his. This is too thin a basis for a fair trial, and her accusation should have been thrown out of court immediately.

I see someone who's still a bit blue pill deep down and now trying desperately not to care about this dried-up tart. Not to shit on you, by the way; we all have our occasional relapses I suppose. Lesson learned: don't kiss, let alone finger, post-wall hags. Even if you feel really sorry for them.

Yes, I am aware that Kubrick was originally slated to be the director. By the way, my "analysis" is only what I myself took away from it; probably not what Spielberg wanted it to mean.

Is it really that different from a computer though? Yes, it's much smaller and therefore more flexible than the big room-sized computers of the 1940s and 1950s, but hardly a different paradigm. By the way, I typed my post on my laptop, also a distant descendant of the ENIAC.

Allow me to be the dissenting voice to your dissent. As Turd Flinging Monkey has pointed out in several of his videos, there won't be any fundamental political change for the good of men as long as (a) we live in a gynocentric world, (b) women have the vote, (c) politicians bend over backwards to pander to whoever is the majority of the electorate. Anyway, the proof of the pudding is in eating it. Point to one single piece of legislation that MRAs have helped to get passed and that benefits men.…

It's already slowing down. What was the last truly game-changing technology? The internet. When was the internet invented? Late 1960s, early 1970s. Notice anything? That's exactly the time when feminism began gaining momentum with the general population.

Of course, I will defer to you, you being an expert (well, sort of). I sat a few courses on groups and rings, but did no actual research. And it seemed half decent to me. But the possibility that someone else did the research for her hadn't occurred to me until you mentioned it.

To be completely honest, if I'd have to choose between sacrificing my dog (my most loyal friend in the world) or some snotty little brat (that's not my own kid), I'd find the choice difficult. Yes, I know, I'm weird, and I probably have my priorities ass backward. But I don't care anymore.

To be fair though, at that price, you'd need to have some pretty good dick-sucking skills to make customers come/cum again.

Thanks for providing these links! I've started reading (or skimming rather) her actual dissertation. My first impression that it's actually a nice (or at least plausible) piece of mathematical research, though not terribly exciting. But it's surrounded by a miasma of quite eccentric and generally annoying SJW-speak. I'm surprised that Princeton's PhD-commission allowed this political pamphlet wrapped around a research paper to go ahead.

A group is a set of objects (numbers, rotations of a geometric shape, permutations of a deck of cards, you name it), together with a group operation which takes any two elements, say a and b, from the set and returns exactly one resulting element c, also from the set. Like this: a * b = c. With numbers, the group operation could be, for example, addition, or multiplication. With rotations, the group operation could be simply performing one rotation after the other. Anyway, a group should additio…

I feel increasingly ambivalent towards my mother. On the one hand, I love her, purely and simply. She (and my now deceased dad) adopted me when I was a baby, and gave me and my sister the best upbringing she could, despite there not being much money. The fact of my physical disability, which became apparent when I was about 5 yrs old, only further intensified our bond. In spite of all that, she is no NAWALT. After my father died (aged 49), she tried to "game" one of our wealthy bachelor friends …

What's so wrong with emotional coping, anyway? We all are subject to certain stress-inducing factors, and it is only natural that the mind should seek ways to achieve homeostasis with the world in which it is embedded. MGTOW is the ultimate homeostasis.

I have a theory about "mattress girl". "She" is in reality a transgender boy who's very confused and conflicted about his sexuality and who took it up the ass a few times too many, which he now regrets.

I agree wholeheartedly. Perhaps more paradoxically, the vast majority of really great poets are men too. (Poetry generally being a more emotional art form than the novel.) Another thing I wonder about: why is poetry so widely considered "effeminate" nowadays?

Chinese fountain pens tend to be very affordable (as in a couple of dollars, often shipping included). Jinhao is a good brand. Some lefties seem to be able to make fountain pens work. (Especially those who are "overwriters".)

Those 18th-century librettists and composers certainly weren't afraid of some red-pill truth bombs. Don Giovanni is another one of Mozart's masterpieces that show great insight into female psychology.

How do you avoid triggers if summer's coming in and every faintly attractive woman below the age of menopause decides she's a walking peepshow?
/r/MGTOW23/05/17 04:26 PM

Thanks. I used to identify as an incel, but got sick and tired of that community (especially because of all the feminist white-knighting going on there). I think blaming all women is just a phase men who've decided to go their own way go through, and for most a short-lived one too. It's part of the red pill rage, I'd say. Anyone with an ounce of common sense will eventually come to realize that not all women are horrible, while at the same time acknowledging that romance isn't worth it.

+lollipoopex The thing is, I'm one of those guys (lucky or not, depending on how you look at it) who only gets off on porn these days. Normal women, with their pasty faces and ditto bodies, just don't interest me anymore. Which has made my transition to (semi)-monk mode much easier, paradoxically.

I don't mind being a Nice Guy, as long as it doesn't cost me too much in terms of time and energy. (Never helped them move, or with anything practical, by the way.) All human interactions are transactional deep down, and if I get as much out of it as I invest, I'm okay with being Nice.
/r/MGTOW02/05/17 03:54 AM

Good to hear it. I do try to "develop" them, just not romantically. I personally find that female companionship can add something of value to a man's life, if not done to excess. (And basically all relationships result in excessive exposure.) They seem to be pretty accepting too of me going MGTOW so far, which surprised me.
/r/MGTOW02/05/17 03:46 AM
2

It is to the extent that they don't seem to be interested in me (romantically or sexually) and that I have realized that sex or relationships with any of them just isn't a good idea. (Two of them are married to beta simps, one is single, but a do-good hipster chick who would probably get on my nerve if I spent prolonged periods of time with her.)

There are novels that contain less flattering portraits of women. "Anna Karenina" by Tolstoy, for example. Or Flaubert's "Madame Bovary". On the whole, I find 19th-century writers to be more in touch with red pill truths than their more modern counterparts.

Being skeptical of anyone's sexual assault allegations is one thing (and in this case probably well-justified). But asserting as a fact that a rape didn't happen, just because it doesn't fit your preconceived narrative, is completely irrational. I seriously thought that we MGTOW were better than woman bashing just for the sake of it, i.e., better than feminists...

If I may offer a somewhat dissenting opinion: I don't think it would hurt our cause at all (quite the contrary) if we MGTOW were to display just a little bit more care and sensitivity regarding the issue of rape and sexual assault allegations made by women. I know for certain that MGTOW are fully capable of doing this without pandering in the slightest to the predominant feminist "all men are potential rapists" narrative. Some women genuinely are "natural beauties" though. These are harder to dismiss. Even women who are only moderately attractive au naturel automatically become more so if they wear no or only minimal makeup, to me at least.

You raise some valid points, and you are fully entitled to have your opinion, of course. Still, I don't see how porn could be used effectively as a means of mass manipulation, given that the industry and its cash streams are highly fragmented and therefore difficult to control in any centralized manner. For the time being, I can only say that for men such as myself, who stand on the bottom rungs of the attractiveness ladder and who have major difficulties relating to women in a sexual and/or rom…

Nice job (no sarcasm). Again, these would not be my sentiments exactly, to say the least. Still, these gentlemen were not entirely wrong either. Perhaps we could best view these guys as proto-MGTOW. :-)
/r/MGTOW28/11/16 10:01 AM
4

What you have to ask yourself, though, is: do I feel disgusted because of some inherent negative quality of all porn, or is it because of a lifetime of exposure to shaming tactics and guilt tripping regarding the subject? I'd guess it's mostly the latter. Sometimes the surrogate really is no worse than the real thing, and I propose that porn is one example.

This reminds me of a (somewhat infamous) quote by the medieval clergic Odo of Cluny: "Their beauty only lies in the skin; if we could see beneath the skin women would arouse nothing but nausea. Their adornments are but blood and mucus and bile. If we refuse to touch dung and phlegm even with a fingertip, how can we desire to embrace a sack of dung?" I cannot say that I share Odo's sentiment entirely, but it does help knock women off their pedestal.

Sorry for being a bit off-topic, but what exactly does "gaslight" mean in this context (non-native speaker here)? The dictionary definition doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense: "verb [with object]; manipulate (someone) by psychological means into questioning their own sanity: in the first episode, Karen Valentine is being gaslighted by her husband.[from the storyline of the movie Gaslight (1944), in which a man psychologically manipulates his wife into believing that she is going insane.]"

Women probably never were "amazing". Sexual politics and all the alpha/beta hypergamy shit that comes with it is at least as old as our species. Yea, many there be that have run out of their wits for women, and become servants for their sakes. Many also have perished, have erred, and sinned, for women… O ye men, how can it be but women should be strong, seeing they do thus? (1 Esdras 4:26-27,32)
