I have read it and that's a great point about covert contracts, the Nice Guy stuff is always something I have struggled with and keep working to get better at. I can be more clear on expectations probably, the whole pre-exclusive area we are in right now is very new to me so still learning how to balance.

It was clearly just a joke/test to see if she would clarify if she is seeing other guys probably stupid, i'm new to dating so I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. My preference is an exclusive thing with a girl on BC or IUD because I dont like condom sex and I also have a daughter half the week so I dont have time to spin plates.

That's interesting, there is some pieces of that story missing. I mean it was pretty clearly a joke/test from me to see how she would respond and she passed the test by taking the opportunity to clarify she isn't seeing other people. A few days ago after the passionate weekend she asked me point blank "How many girls do you have in your rotation?" and I (maybe autistically because I was thinking LTR with the girl) told the truth and said "I actually just dropped my rotation of 3, don't blow this…

but wouldn't you have doubts about their potential for loyalty? It's a bit of a sore spot for me since my exwife cheated, nuked our family and stole my wealth. But i'm not sure how much of this sort of stuff to chalk up to the fact that this is just the way pre-exclusive modern dating just works now.

Yeah I was originally only planning on plating her but we have had so much fun together that I was open to the LTR route and now I'm backtracking in my head if she is worthy of that given she was working to keep her options open after what I felt was some meaningful time together.

I'm not 100% confident she is lying though is the thing, the "new" flag works for like 2 weeks and she told me she isnt talking to other guys 3 days ago after we had a pretty passionate weekend. She easily could have activated and goofed around the previous week and then decided after our weekend she is cutting everyone else off. She doesnt strike me as the lying type if I'm being honest.

Thanks for the perspective, another thing maybe worth mentioning is that she is very open with her phone use around me, like unlocked and lends it to me to show me stuff, etc. almost like she wants to demonstrate she has nothing to hide. the app thing is still strange tho

Thanks for the advice man, I actually have read a lot of your posts which is why I started to be 100% upfront about my kid. But based on my personal experience of going from successfully plating to a dry period as a result I'm going to hide it until I get at least one plate or I'm more attractive. I prefer hiding it and having consistent sex vs being 100% and frustrated. I'll get there man, you are an inspiration.

Thanks, makes sense, yeah I haven't lied to girls even when I hid my kid in phase 1. Because I am so young I don't think it crosses their minds to even ask and they never do.
