Ha ha! Good stuff mate. I actually thought of this one yesterday morning when I took my dog for a walk! It’s on the list :)

Getting 50:50 after almost being squeezed out was a relief. I'm glad that I am resilient and that I stuck to my guns. I've maintained my relationship with my kids, and that is all I need. The rest is just having a laugh :)

Yep ... you're never really free. It's hard when the kids make progress and then you have to start again the next week. Definitely moving forward though.

Thanks mate! The playlist needing a little country and western.

Hey mate. They're getting better. Still working hard with them. I'm 50:50 now, and they are seeing a therapist that specialises in alienation/alignment. They've come a long way, but still have a way to go yet. Just gotta keep moving forward, and not look back.

Thanks mate ... I'm already doing that.

Thanks mate ... yep it was just some fun. My partner and I thought it up when we were having a couple of drinks and sharing a laugh. Thanks for your suggestion ... it's on the playlist :)

No. We definitely had some good times, and I love my kids immensely. I would have taken my lawyers initial advice, but I got there in the end.

Thanks mate. Love me some warm, non urinated water!

Thanks mate. I’m lucky to be back in my home city, amongst friends and family, and the crew I work with are really cool too. My focus is now helping my kids to settle. Coparenting with a trouble maker is impossible. Parallel parenting for the win!

Definitely is made! Yes, Dobby is free!

Yeah. With kids and property, it takes some time. But, my ex dragged it to the end. Then she wanted it done quickly. I’m guessing she wants to lock down the new bloke ASAP 😂

Yep ... I had this one planned in advance. It’s a wonderful feeling to click the ‘post’ button!

Ha ha! No way! In a great relationship now, but we’ve no plans to marry. Onwards and upwards now!

Yeah mate. Lots of hurdles along the way. Definitely was a marathon. Glad it’s finished now!

Yes. Definitely. There is a fair bit of research on this. If the psychologist isn’t aware of the situation, they can actually reinforce what the alienating parent is doing. It may cost a bit more, and the wait times are longer, but its worth it in the long run to get a good psychologist who knows what they are doing. On your point, the best you can probably do is ‘parallel parenting’. Co-parenting with a narcissist will never happen. Hope you guys are doing ok!

Hey. Yep, seek therapy from a child psychologist, but one that has expertise in this area. Not a random one that you find on google. Many therapists are ill equipped to handle this, as it’s a very specialised area. You wouldn’t see your family doctor if you need a heart transplant. I get what you are going through. I’ve just got my family review back from a psychologist, and she has recommended that my kids be removed from their mum’s home, and a moratorium on her contacting the kids while they …

Hey mate. This is really great! I’ve been trying to work up something like this also. I’ll use this as a bit of a template if that’s ok? I’m Australian, with two kids and probably going to be 30:70, increasing to 50:50 hopefully down the track, so there are some strong similarities. I’ll have to make an extra spot for Kayo though! Cheers.

This is good. You stood your ground, she upped the ante, and the police didn’t want to be involved. You’ve now taken that avenue away from her. Good job, mate. Lawyers are expensive, but it’s the only way to deal with a narcissistic STBXW.

Sorry ... I miss read it. I’m not sure of their specific situation, but here in Australia 50:50 is very reasonable, and viewed favourably by the court, all things being equal. I’m lucky in a way, as I’ve been making notes of conversations for months now, and pretty much all of conversations are on email. It can be hard to prove PA, but we’ve already had mediation, and the child consultant who reviewed my kids accused my STBXW of if. This report will flow into the court proceedings. Buckle up and…

Hey, it's very real. I'm going through it now. I like the fact that your bro is going for full custody, and a month where she can't see the kids. It'll take some time for them to come around, so he'll need to be very patient. How is he going? It's been brutal for me. I've been so thankful for my family, friends and work colleagues. My STBXW is getting papers either this Friday, or Monday next week.

Hi mate. DO NOT GIVE UP. It’s is going to be a very long haul, but if you give up now, you will never get her back. I know that you already know this, but a daughter’s bond with her dad is so important for the rest of her life. Keep on telling her that you love her, and be there for her as much as you can. It’ll hurt like hell when she rejects you, but don’t stop. How old is she? I guess she’ll need some therapy to help with the transition anyway. Some of the things that she's doing will come up…

Mate, you’ve hit the nail right on the head. I hope you get enough kudos for this post. I’ve printed it out, and I am sticking it on my fridge door!
