Exactly. You’re the adult in this situation and expected to keep your calm and do the right thing - the exact opposite of lose your mind. Getting in your car when you’re over 2x the legal limit to provide an insurance card is not exercising good judgment. She had her entire family with her and they weren’t drunk. They could have delivered the card. This was simply her excuse for getting busted and she thought it would work - just like all the other excuses she tried and failed.

Yeah, I get that. But over 2x the legal limit is cause to pause by itself, let alone if one is “frantic” on top of that. All she had to do was ask if he was hurt/injured. He apparently called her - all she had to do was ask and use common sense - not lose her mind.
