I don’t see why anyone has to propose publicly and grandly to anybody. I don’t want a wedding, or a ring beyond a simple traditional band to say “hello, I’m married”. Unfortunately my wonderful little goofball doesn’t think like I do and his family is all about the 300+ guest list.
