The only point of school is to get a piece of paper saying you can be employed I’m sorry you went to a school that led you to believe this is the case. I felt grateful for my teachers all through college, especially because they instructed me well enough to help me earn 1.5 years of college credits before stepping into my first college classroom. Many of them taught us how to learn, by going over our mistakes on our exams, and by teaching us how to keep binders/notes organized for each subject. …

Sure have, spent plenty of time doing group work after instruction. Teachers at my school encouraged students to speak up when something wasn’t clear “because if it’s not clear to you, it’s probably unclear to someone else too”.

I went to a public school in an admittedly well-funded district. While you are certainly not alone in your experience, and the (US I presume) should do more to ensure fewer students have experiences like yours, I don’t think it’s fair to write off the potential for students to come together in an environment largely dedicated to the pursuit of knwoledge. Certainly, there is adversity involved that some struggle to overcome (lack of strong instruction, peer pressure, etc) but it doesn’t seem just…

Many students learn more effectively in a classroom environment, where they can hear, see and practice new information - and ask questions if clarification is needed. Classroom environments are also good for socializing children and teaching them how to cooperate, compete and communicate with one another. One of the most important abilities students may learn in such social environments is the ability to empathize. Seems this may be an ability you lack.

I don't think I ever said tell him he's smart if he hasn't earned it. I specifically qualified that statement so that he rewards academic hard work instead of giftedness.

Then figure out what she's looking for in you, and amplify qualities that reinforce it

Don't let him see or feel your fears about the world. Make him confident he can conquer it, he can't if he absorbs your fears. Be a strong father and he will know he can be accomplished too. He can't see you be weak.

What kind of girl is she? You've gotta feel out what she's looking for and tell her whatever that is if all you're looking for is a lay.

Sorry for not stroking your ego but a real wingman would have been engaging, talking up his buddy in front of the girls, not relishing in his own sexual gratification and staring down his friend's target/s. At that point, you knew you were set for the night, why not help your friend out?

You've really gotta feel this one out. It depends what you're after and what the "right" answer is. What you say should be a result of those two things.

He's six man, just let him beat you when you play sports together tell him he's smart when he works hard in school. Encourage behaviors that are rewarded by society, but encourage him to work hard so he doesn't grow up entitled. He's too young for true red pill.

Try going to local church functions if you can tolerate them

There are plenty of naive girls raised with the same fantasy as you. Try the Midwest or the South. Expect to be a beta provider for them and put up with their fantastical world views and delusions.

It's just a show. She knows her friend is more attractive so she needs to put on airs to feel level with her.

I agree, I don't find the second one controversial at all. If anything it confirms TRP beliefs. Women will ride the carousel when they are the ones in a position of power (young, attractive, can provide for themselves) but once these qualities are compromised (usually by aging) they seek out a provider of both material and emotional resources to supplement their own provisions, which are now markedly lower.

That's not what a shit test is, but it's people disrespecting you to your face. Put them on the spot, make them explain why they think that, then have a badass reason why you're the one nailing her.

http://www.unc.edu/courses/2008spring/poli/472h/001/Course%20documents/RESOURCES/Crime,%20violence/incarceration%20rates%20and%20inequality.htm Findings show that incarceration rate is best predicted by income disparity. We would expect countries with high proportions of minorities to have higher incarceration rates if OPs implication was true.

I'm not mad at all, I just think that the conclusion you're implying can be drawn by the data doesn't take into account the whole picture

This experiment is not original, it has been performed and published before, results were shown on The Science of Sex Appeal, available on Netflix

That's really insightful, I've never realized that before. I've always been a dog-lover but I just can't fathom why some guys like cats so much, I despise them.

The best policy is to just stay the hell away from people, especially women. I don't think it is universally applicable to state that the best policy in life is to become a rugged individualist. Some of the best experiences I've had in my life I've shared with other people, and in some cases, these people were women. A fulfilling life can be attained by balancing our own needs with those around us, through the exchanges you described, but some of the most rewarding experiences can be had by taki…

Misogyny is the hatred or dislike of women or girls You can act differently towards women without necessarily hating or disliking them. The ability to adjust behavior based on social context is not a disorder. Psychopathy is traditionally defined as a personality disorder, characterized by enduring antisocial behavior, diminished empathy and remorse, and disinhibited or bold behavior The key word here being enduring, granted this introduces a subjective aspect of the use of the term. Why does th…

If you think that women are generally childish, less interesting etc. then that wouldn't be misogynistic in my eyes I don't think so though. For example, I can say that most young children are incapable of making logic-based, rational decisions. This doesn't mean I actively hate children, simply that I recognize a quality of their personality that is generally pervasive. Likewise, I personally agree that women tend to be more childish than men in the sense that they make decisions based on emoti…

Actually I disagree. There are two types of TRPers: The true, internalized red piller: Never needed to be taught red pill, simply acted this way from a relatively young age because his environment rewarded him for it. Might have stumbled upon the strategy through trial and error, and through conditioning, it formed his behavior. This type of red piller does not consciously feed his ego, he simply seeks to keep the fire which has always burned within him alight. Beta-turned-red pill: These are th…

I don't think it becomes sociopathic until OP actually asks her what she has to offer and verbalizes the existence of a transaction. The idea is to operate under the notion that a transaction is taking place in every relationship, but not explicitly state it out loud or even necessarily weigh every exchange to make sure each one is perfectly even.

I tend to agree. Women tend to take whatever route they feel provides them the most "safety" and "security" at the time.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
