Maybe, but my main point is artificial gestation does not have to be better or even used by a significant proportion of men to affect the behaviour of men and women in the reproductive market place. A parallel could be drawn with the threat of automation or outsourcing limiting the ability of employees to negotiate pay raises even if automation or outsourcing do not occur within that specific company.
