Go read the post again. I even concede that I don't know for sure and wouldn't claim to know. I'm guessing you just stopped reading.

So, are there any lesbians that aren't feminists in your mind? You people are hilarious - "I can look at someone's clothing and hairdo and tell you that person's inner thoughts and motivations! I honestly believe this! I'm super fucking educated, intelligent, full of nuance and woke! The idea of admitting I don't know for sure about something is completely foreign to me!"

And if that is the case, it's even worse that she's a viral sensation as this terrible human trope.

No, you make a good point. Maybe it is completely worthless and insulting to bring up age in this situation. I apologize.

Correct, people who actually believe in a stereotype will laugh at said stereotype.

I mean, everyone's worldview changes. I just find it hard to believe that yours hasn't unless you just haven't been around long enough to be exposed to much.

So your political and social ideology hasn't changed at all? You must be pretty young to have not changed at all.

God, you're amazing at winning the internet. I admit defeat.

Stereotypes are useless for discerning reality. They are good for supporting an ideology, making people angry, or making people laugh though.

So if he's just cracking a joke, why did he get so hyper defensive about it? Seemed like it would have been really easy to say "yeah, you're probably right, I was using it more for comedic effect than actually believing that." He didn't respond that way though, which indicates to me that he's way more invested in that view than just a joke.

Why do you say that? I've had many of my views changed from discussing things on the internet. Have you not?

They smell like sulfur and methane most of the time. They're usually silent and typically gross me the fuck out and the dog as well.

So any time a woman hits a man like it's no big deal, she must be a feminist? And any time a woman attacks a man that just hit her friend because she hit him, she must be a feminist? This doesn't seem like very sound logic.

I even said that I wasn't sure she was a lesbian. I'm not dumb enough to think I know for certain. Thanks for pointing out that nuance matters, though. I agree with you.

Do you actually believe this accomplishes something? It's hilarious you're accusing everyone of being triggered while being the only one in here belligerently raging at his keyboard.

Wait, so in this sub you're not allowed to question someone's shit understanding of reality? No I'm not shaking. I'm not an ideological dipshit thay has to be either a trump supporter or SJW. I can actually see merits form both sides on certain points and also see the absurdity of both.

Your troll game is garbage. You seem to just resort to trolling when your shit arguments are called out. Like a "I didn't give a shit anyway." kind of thing. In my experience, people that think like this typically don't grow as people.

I know it's a wild guess. This is why we have so many problems. Every thing bad that happens is immediately chalked up to "the other" depending on what your political ideology is. It's a much more stress free life if you just admit you don't fucking know when you don't fucking know.

The grey area comes from the officers. Surely they can assess the situation and choose not to press charges. Getting punched and seeing red for three seconds and returning the blow is probably one of those situations.

It's Reddit. Anytime there's a justifiable reason to hit a woman, it's going to be celebrated like winning the World Cup.

How do you know they're feminists? Such a huge conclusion to jump to based off of a 2 second .gif. "But she has short hair!" She's probably a lesbian, but even that isn't a complete given. Maybe she's not even come to terms with herself that she's a lesbian. And what about the other girl? How can you know? All I'm saying is why go to such conclusions? Isn't it more honest to say "we don't know"?

I want to see more of that video. It almost looked like a bullying instance. Tons of people laughing at the lesbian it seemed. Not saying the chick was justified or shouldn't have been hit in response, just saying I want to see more of the context there.

I'm not sure if that's the case. Surely you can't just strike someone and run and be protected from retaliation. There has to be a legal grey area there.

Can't wait to see this epic reply about how all of feminism going back to the suffrage movement is a hate group.

There's this thing called context that judges look at before they make decisions. This typically happens if you've been with the same person for a very long time. Furthermore, if one partner stays home and cooks and cleans and raises the child and generally makes the spouse's life really great so that he/she can go to work every day without a care in the world and perform well, how does she get none of the credit for his success? You'd have to be in a marriage to understand how much effort it re…

But sure, "Me man. You woman. You take care of kid and home. You leave? You no take stuff." What ever works for you buddyfriendpal. You really are thinking that simple-minded. There's a reason that alimony is a thing and it's not because some evil feminists are ruining the world. This was developed through hundreds and thousands of cases and became the basic way in which we settle this dispute. It's ridiculous that you're trying to act like you're smarter than thousands of attorneys and judges g…

Just trying to imagine you in a marriage. "Now, sweetie, before you deliver this child, I want to make sure you realize that by staying home and taking care of this baby, you're agreeing to stick with me regardless of what I say or do or else you'll be poor. Here let's sign a contract just to make it official. I love you."

Pedantic doesn't apply to something like this. They're not one in the same. Nuance is how we communicate.

Most feminists don't support equality Yes they do. It's like you're saying most black activists don't support equality between whites and blacks. From their perspective, they're simply fighting the established power (it's fine if you don't believe the established power is male dominated, but they do). Surely you can see that?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
