The best way to get over anxiety about talking to women is by talking to women. Listen, you can't cultivate new relationships with people when you don't actually want to do anything. Do you really want to be better, or do you just want to complain about the world? It takes supreme dedication to lift and diet consistently for 5 fucking years - try to exert a similar amount of effort in other facets of your life and I guarantee you will see an improvement.

I don't get it. Your fear is being judged as an "older" male doing well with women?

Here's an analogy: Star athlete relies on natural athleticism and size to dominate his competition in high school, but doesn't practice hard, if at all. He just knows he's "better." Then he goes to college. Everyone else on the team is just as big and just as athletic as him, only they are much, much more skilled than him due to the hours of practice they've put in, which our former star athlete had always neglected. Now he's riding the bench and crying about how the coach hates him. Sometimes, …

You are acting like a thirsty little boy. She gave you her answer, so be a man about it and respect that. If you "can't take it anymore," move on to another girl.

I think the importance of IOIs is generally overblown, but yeah, not much going on here. At best, she's neutral about you. At worst, she's trying to let you off nicely and hoping you'll get the hint. Your ex means nothing really. Women have options and they know this, it's just part of the game. This girl may like you, but you're probably not her priority when it comes to dating. If you like her, keep the door open, but don't stop meeting other women. She's keeping her options open and so should…

Her promise to her parents nor your bad skin are the issue here. You acted needy and stalker-ish to a girl you don't even know, of course she wants nothing to do with you.

How did she react when you touched her? Judging by her answer when you asked her what she was looking for as well as when you asked for a second date, she doesn't see you as a romantic partner.

Definitely. It was pretty easy for me to get laid in college even though I didn't know wtf I was doing.

What are your hobbies and passions? What achievements and accomplishments are you most proud of? What value do you bring to social interactions (in general, not just with women)? Don't feel pressured to keep a woman entertained - that comes off as needy. Instead, realize that you are also awesome and have value to offer her. Interactions at bars should be light and fun, you don't need to be in your head so much. No opener is guaranteed to be successful, and talking to women at bars especially is…

There's a big difference between true self-reflection and seeking validation, and you project the latter. Women can sniff that shit out from miles away. People in general don't want to be responsible for others' emotions. Whatever attractive qualities you think you bring to the table will get swept under it the instant a woman senses your outcome dependency. You do not project confidence, and you need to work on that. It can be hard to accept that sometimes the amount of time and effort we spend…

Some dudes are so clueless a girl could grab them by the dick and they'd still come here asking "Do you think she likes me???" Tell him directly, he will appreciate the straightforwardness regardless of his feelings for you.

These incessant 'what-ifs' are a waste of time and are only building up your anxiety. You might not realize it, but you're probably projecting negative energy and low-self esteem before you even approach. Most women pick up on these things quite easily. "Am I being weird" "I'm just not good enough" "Did I do something wrong" "Are they giggling around me because they're making fun of me" Do you think a high-quality woman would want to be with a man who spends his time wondering these things inste…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
