I'm not really attractive to women so a lot of what I read, while is is informative, isn't really geared or catered towards me. Youre acting like it's a life sentence rather than your past self. Do you think it is legitimiayely 100% impossible for your future self to be attractive to women?
/r/seduction14/06/18 01:03 AM

So it sounds like you're on the right track there but maybe not working hard enough (or for long enough) if you say it's "nothing special" yet. How about efforts to go out with/meet women? How many girls have you approached in the past 6 months? How much have you read up on attractiveness, flirting, personality and that side of things?
/r/seduction13/06/18 01:16 AM

Have you put effort into improving your appearance? Working out, skincare, fashion, etc? Those things go a loooong way.
/r/seduction12/06/18 11:09 PM

No, I don't know. I don't understand your thinking. Are you aware of the fact that women find George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, Robert Downey Jr, etc. attractive? And they would regardless of their movie star status? Those guys are all 40 years old or older. So no excise for not developing yourself into someone attractive
/r/seduction12/06/18 11:09 AM

I'm 26 now so i'm definitely way past the whole women/sex thing As other people have pointed out, you should reexamine that belief. Where did you get that idea from?

From stranger things (no spoilers): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haM1JDeQAPc Pay attention to his: •eye contact •tone (he isn't going up in inflection at the end of his sentences, and he's speaking in a sort of slow, quiet but smooth and low tone) •body language- watch how slow and deliberate his movements are. There's also this vibe he's giving off that is really effective if you can pull it off- it's like there's a secret in-joke between the two of them, and it's making both of them smile. …

My experience is that it absolutely positively 100% matters how you phrase it. I think it's mostly a factor of not being too available, and also not leaving the decision up to the girl to set up the date, because then you're not leading. For example, saying "we should hang out some time this week" means the girl has to ask back "when are you free" or say "okay I'm free X and Y" and then it has to go into more back and forth if she's interested. If she's on the fence about you, the effort of sett…

That's very very true. I've tried online dating while going out meeting girls in a city of 500,000 ppl, a small city of 40,000ppl, and a larger one of 1.3mil. There's definitely a lot more options in bigger cities, and tinder sucks for smaller places, but I still met a good number of people in the small location. Even dated a fairly attractive Brazilian girl using OKCupid when I was living in a small mountain town of literally 4,000 people. And my profile is far from perfect, so I think it's sti…

I personally don't have the best photos, but i remember looking into it a while ago. From what I remember, you want to communicate that you have a fun, attractive lifestyle. Attractive meaning you're doing things you're passionate about, have a blossoming social life,, have female friends, are active, get out of the house, etc. You can end up looking desperate though if the photo is obviously your one female friend from high school and it comes off as you're trying to show you have girls as frie…

If you've had almost no success online you either have •bad photos •bad profile or you're sending •bad messages I can take a look and critique your profile if you want. My guess is that you're too logical and not emotionally exciting in your profile/messages. Lots of guys do that

Saw a discussion on this a while ago. To people from different places and of different ages, hooking up means different things. The generally agreed upon definition is something from making out all the way up to sex. Most often it means some kind of sexual activity and not just making out though (could be fingering, blowjob, etc). Why the vagueness? It lets women downplay the specifics of whatever they did with a guy when talking about it with their friends so they don't have to feel slutty, and…

Treat it mentally as if it's a frame test, which it may or may not be. By frame test I mean she's testing you to see if you get bummed or deflated or change your attitude because of her saying that. The best way to deal with these things is to keep up your frame of her being attracted to you. However in my experience, girls only say these things when you're being too overt about sex. Like if you say "lets go back to my place and fool around" or something, in which case she'd feel slutty for sayi…

Don't think you're going to be perfect when you're practising. Imagine you're learning an instrument- don't be embarrassed that you're not amazing from the start- you've gotta make some adjustments as you're learning. The key thing is to not let it affect you when you're out, just pretend everything you're saying is awesome, even if you have to pretend a little bit. Just look back the next day and analyse what you could do better, and go out and make some adjustments the next time. If you improv…

Who's to say that stopping playing World of Warcraft makes you a better person? I think there's an argument to be had for some things being objectively more productive uses of an individual's time than other things. I'd argue that escapism for 5+ hours a day through video games is less productive and valuable than other pursuits such as investing in learning other skills. And of course I understand that there's nothing wrong with escapism in moderation, but I do think it's problematic when it co…

I disagree that self improvement is a shtick and that they're being inauthentic in promoting it. I know that for myself personally, I was never into the idea of self improvement because I didn't want anything badly enough to bother with the effort. Discovering pickup for me was discovering that I wanted something badly (an awesome dating life) and that the road was through self improvement. Once I got started on self improvement, I got addicted to how much I was growing as a person- losing a ton…

Came here to say this. I think it's more amateur to do what the article OP linked suggested and just go up and say "Hi. You're stunning". From personal experience and from Models, it's important to communicate that, yes- it is against social conventions to approach someone in this manner, but you're well aware of that and you're deciding to go ahead anyway. It diffuses the girl thinking you are socially oblivious and it stops them from worrying that it may be a hassle to end the interaction.

Thing is- you're unlikely to meet a driven woman at a nightclub. They're likely trying to pursue their passion and don't have time to get validation there. Nightclubs are great for working on social skills/flirting skills but hard to meet professional people there.

It's the one word that by definition should be free from being used to make exaggerative claims...and now people are using it exaggeratively. Need more people like you calling it out when it happens.

Put yourself in her shoes. Imagine she stops texting you and you've texted her a few times to test the waters and it's bugging you that she hasn't responded. Then you find out later she was just doing if to seem busy. What is your opinion of her now? Plus, what are you getting from this? Validation? At the cost of possibly making her feel needy and unwanted.

Great stuff, thanks for the post. In regards to bit worrying about demographics or over-analyzing, my perspective on thinking about this kind of stuff comes from RSD Tyler. I can't remember where he said it, maybe in the blueprint, but he said there's two types of guys: one is over analytical guy who has the advantage of reading the situation well and a disadvantage of being in his head and being too sensitive about negative feedback, and he is in his head a lot. Then there's the stereotypical d…

Yeah the whole "can I get a female opinion" thing is directly word for word from 'the game' and same with 'eliciting values'. It also seemed very inauthentic and sleezy to pretend to agree deeply with a girl on something that you don't really care about just to get her to like you. It was also super cheesy to suggest saying 'Its like we're kindred spirits or something'. That said, I think the advice about 'sacrificing' your chances with the hottest girl in the room to befriend her and use that t…

My personal belief is that a huge part of the unattractivenrss of 'nice guy' behaviour lies in communicating that you need the girl to help sort out your problems. I dated a girl for a while who was extremely physically attractive, but she couldn't deal with any of her own life problems- getting a job, figuring out what she wanted to do in life, how to handle her emotions, how to save up money, how to deal with every little thing. She couldn't do anything on her own and it was really unattractiv…

"Who are you?" (As opposed to what's your name) "Tell me about yourself" "What are you passionate about" "What would you do with yor life if you didn't have to worry about money?" Not open ended, but I've found "Who are you here with" to be a great question to ask quickly, especially if followed up by "so what brings you all out tonight" to figure out logistics- you quickly figure out if she's out with her boyfriend, if it's a girls night out, if its a birthday party etc.

I don't know, I think in the right context it could be great. If you say it out if the blue in the middle of talking about something else, then yeah it's creepy. But if you're dancing around sexual topics and the conversation is more along the lines of 'what do you like in a guy/girl' or you could even just say something like 'you just bit your lip...don't do that please, I can't take it', and then you could say a few things that drive you crazy, followed by asking 'what turns you on?'. I think …

my being aware of how touching certain areas influences female sexuality allows me to make her crazy horny Care to elaborate here? I'm interested. Hah! This is the first time Ive see shrooms mentioned in this sub but it totally helped to destroy my ego too, and made me examine myself in a way I couldn't have otherwise. Like the guy above me said, Right, because telling a girl, "You should be happy that I'm acknowledging your existence you whore." is so funny. The girl said she had trouble sleeping afterwards, and they didn't meet up obviously. I get what you're saying about sending messages to get you to stand out, but this is waaaaaay too far in that direction and clearly it isn't having its intended effect. If they had met up and she was attracted to him because of it, it would be more of a case of "it's soc…

And he obviously has a LOT of women who don't get him and don't respect him to the point where 20,000 people signed a petition to get his events cancelled. His tinder messages weren't to show off to other people. That's how he actually messages these girls. Telling them his sister got raped and that he just buried his dad. That's straight up emotional manipulation and it's pretty disgusting.

Trolling is arguably 'okay' to do online. When you're doing it in real life, calling girls derogatory things and being a dick to strangers, you're just an asshole. Did you read the tinder messages he's writing to girls? He's clearly being an asshole who doesn't care about how his actions- self amusing or not- are affecting the girls on the other side of the interaction.

Wtf? I was a big fan on RSD when Tyler was putting out foundations and the blueprint..what the fuck happened? I had seen Julian before but hadn't ever followed his stuff more than the videos where him and Tyler were together. Seems like Tyler made a huge mistake letting this guy represent his company. Would love to hear some of your takeaway thoughts from the night, the post as it stands is mostly a story and not very educational. Were there certain ideas in 'conquer your campus' that seemed to be true for you- you mentioned preselection but anything else? Also it sounds like your apartment(?) is in a pretty central location for nightlife. I feel like that's something that doesn't get talked about much but I've personally found that to have a HUGE impact on success- living within a 5 minute w…

I'm wondering about this too. I had a lot of success in the UK in university but spent a week visiting a friend in a small town nearish dusseldorf my last year over there. We went out to a club where it was loud and I had to have people write down what they were saying on my phone so that I could understand. Anyway I was just being sexually forward like normal- I said I had never kissed a German girl before- and the girl I said that to wrote 'FUCK OFF' on my phone. Was shocked at how negatively …

I've found that yes, it can, because it gives off the signal that you care about the night/date a lot if you dress up too much. I experimented with around 8 dates with this, and found a better response if I dress well but casually versus formally. Just my 2 cents from my personal experience

God damn I love his writing. I am impressed by the range of places he gets ideas from- he borrows from a research psychologist and Plato, and blends their ideas with his personal experience to take research and philosophy and apply them to sound relationship advice. I could not disagree more. Say the girl rejects you and runs away. You may have absolutely no idea why she reacted like that. You don't necessarily have the necessary mental tools to properly assess the context of the situation and to be able to see it through a lens that makes it make sense. Then you read a book that talks about tonality and you realize you've never paid attention to your own tonality and you realize you come off as really creepy when you thought you sounded cool. Suddenly you …

I was recommended Budda's Brain by Rick Hanson, and while I like the book a lot (it's about the neuroscience of meditation), I actually like the follow up book better- Just One Thing. It's something like 52 very small chapters and each chapter talks about something you can actively do to change your brain to make yourself happier and healthier, more loving etc. Each chapter goes into what the thing is, why it's important to improve on, and exactly how to improve in that aspect in your life to re…

I'm most of the way through it, it looks at a lot of case studies of people who mastered something and talks about how to get really really good at something. An example of something I took from it is he talks about when you get into a new work environment, all of the superficial stuff jumps out at you- who is most friendly, who dresses well, who comes in on time etc. but once you get used to that, once you habituate to it, your mind is freed up to start paying attention to more subtle aspects o…
