I had a similar story being in a small town for work. I went out every night after I finished work for the day and would always be cordial to the girls working the front desk of the hotel. One night I was pretty hammered and went to the coffee bar to fill up my water and grab a cup of coffee too. I saw this girl sitting nearby and she looked drunk as well. I said hey and asked if she was okay. She said she was drunk and her friend works at the front desk so she was just hanging out until she sob…

Start with light touching. Subtle at first and build throughout the night. When you see her, give a strong hug. Then try to notice something different or changed about her and compliment. Example, she cut her hair so just barely touch the end of it while saying your hair looks great! Usher her in to the restaurant or to the table and gently put your hand in the middle of her shoulders/back. If she is receptive to those, then keep escalating from there.

Looks like we're both in the same predicament. Insert Spiderman pointing at Spiderman gif.

Yeah I agree. I think in OP's situation maybe not idk. They had said this was the 1st time they had talked to a girl and hugged them. Asking them to wear nail Polish or something a little outlandish might be beyond what they're comfortable with. But yeah everyone's different

I think it depends on your personality and your confidence level.

Start having conversations with everyone you interact with. The clerk at the grocery store, getting your haircut, wherever. It'll make you gain confidence in your ability to just talk to anyone regardless of their looks

This 100% proves to just be yourself. Don't try to be some master PUA and put black nail polish on. Just be you and not ashamed of who you are. Talk to people and it'll work itself out like tonight. 👍

Cooking always worked for me. They'd say I should cook them something sometime and end up coming to my place for me to make a fancy meal

Start talking to everyone. When you're at the store, getting coffee, etc. It makes you a more natural when one of the conversations turns from a quick interaction to possibly more. I still make sure I talk to anyone I encounter of the opposite sex. You come across confident too.

Also what you may believe to be over the top appears normal to others. Similar to public speaking where if you think you're talking really slow its too fast for others and vice versa.

Yup. I started a skincare routine that I do morning and night. Just in conversation with women when it gets brought up they love hearing it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
