If you really have to have a fb (or any other social network) account, an effective tip I would give you is to remove the app from your phone and only use it at the pc/laptop. Most of us have our phones with us all the times and that's how we really get hooked up, receiving notifications and doing these "harmless" 10 second checks at every five minutes.
