To lay that many women and not get majorly fucked over is pretty impressive. Being able to distinguish which ones are worth an LTR chance shows that he gets to know the women on a deeper level.

Thanks, everyday I learn something new. The list of authors you gave is pretty extensive. What would you say are best 'beginner' books to get started on?

I got a dog. Now I understand why they say "Dogs are a man's best friend."

Yes, this might sound cliche but I failed so hard and so many times until I learned how to pick myself up. This is my current system to learning from my failures, any modifications/advice are welcome: It starts with be becoming aware of where and how I failed, afterwards, it's about identifying why I failed or what thoughts/feelings were going through my mind before, during and after I failed. During this whole introspection session, I apply reason and logic to understand and correct my actions …

And what do you plan to do about those feelings? Edit: I think I was being too vague in my attempt to motivate you. What I wanted to say is: "What are you going to do to change how you feel about those fears? Are you going to let them control your actions and your life? Or are you going to say "Fuck you feelings, I got more important things to do than think and be held back by you?"

I'm not the guy who you replied to, just someone who might know what you're feeling at the moment. Let me know if the following sounds like something you're going through: My biggest problem for the longest time was reading all the content on trp and seddit and applying none of it...because I was scared of dealing with issues I've never had to deal with and not knowing whether I could deal with them. To me it was a weird mix of fear of failure and fear of success.

I think so too because I am one of those who thought that was normal social behavior while growing up (stuck home all day in front of cartoon network).

I am now at the point where I can engage my 'present' state of mind at will - during workouts, when talking to people, etc. I've been meditating everyday since X-mas. My meditation plan is similar to thewhiteduck09's (upon wake up + before bed).

Dude. You found a potential interest. Go explore more about it or if you could help me out. How do you reach and deal with the emptiness? I hardly ever reach it and when I do, I don't know how to deal with it.

I was, maybe still am, in a depressive rut so excuse me if I might be projecting myself on you. One thing I can point out to you is that you're using a lot of negative self talk, especially involving a self fulfilling prophecy. It seems to me that you're stuck in your head a lot. Learn to meditate and read this link: breathe into your balls. Do what you want to do with the info we give you here. You're the one living your life.

I was in a somewhat similar situation where I would only skype with her so excuse me if I'm projecting onto you. I struggled with emotions of distrust, jealousy and sometimes self hatred for feeling that way. My advice would be to keep the relationship at a level where it won't impact your emotional state/daily life. From all the posts here, I see a strong oneitis -> 4 years, never saw her in person, keep talking about fantasies/dreams/hopes. Go work on yourself. Make money so you can see her an…

Are you sure she's not just fueling your ego to get validation from you? I think you are not in your right state of mind because of oneitis.

Aside from the recommended Stronglifts, you can try looking into the Tabata protocol. 5 min workouts that WILL get you sweating and leave you in pain. Great if you don't have equipment or time.

Dude. I think you just perfectly described and solved my biggest problem towards self-discipline. Thanks you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
