Top notch surgeon, even manages to make incisions with bread knives. Would be a shame to not have her practice her craft on future patients.

Let's keep one thing in mind; I think the incredibly bad relationship advice in Cosmo is by now a well established and rightfully ridiculed phenomenon. And the simple reason as to why they give terrible advice like "Slap his dick during a handjob", is that Cosmo needs to keep those women single, because single women constantly seek to answer the question; "What am I doing wrong and why can't I find a man?" Answers they believe they can find in Cosmo. To reiterate; Step 1: Give bad advice to wome…

The article states that, even though she started the argument about not having enough money to take care of the household, he became physical first and she was injured by him, killing him in self defense.

It's screams faggot. Pretty sure she'll take yours if her last name is really "Screams-Faggot".

"Long story short, we didn't fuck. Wasn't able to get it up." Not desperate enough, apparently.

Wow, hold on a minute. As a guy, I think it's even worse. You can't decide for her to have an abortion or not, but she can. So, if she decides to keep it, you're shit out of luck. Legally, you have no say in that matter, she wants to keep the baby, she will, and you'll pay. A lot. So, especially if you're a guy, don't a fuck a chick unless you think she'd be a fit mom/wife. I know it's tempting to stick your dick in crazy, but I know a bunch of guys who got fucked early on in life by some psycho…

Except from abstinence, there is no birth control that has a 100% success rate. Getting pregnant doesn't mean that they didn't pay enough attention, they might've simply had bad luck.

Yeah, not trying to cause anyone any grief, but I guess one can be pretty naïve thinking that people have been able to bury all their emotions. Good reply, thank you very much and I'll keep it in mind.

I appreciate your input, only thing you might see as relevant background information would be the fact that I've routinely been spending my weekends for the better time of a year at his place, before I started dating my current BF. In this whole time, nothing romantic or sexual has happened between me and my ex, we just have a lot of common interests and enjoy each others company. He's had a rough time lately as well, and since he doesn't have any other female friends, he can talk to me about pr…

Well, I've broken up with him about 2 years ago, but he's the only ex of mine who isn't a total shithead, so we stayed friends. I have been hanging at his place every other weekend, so it has become part of my routine. During this whole time, if I was single or dating someone, we've done nothing sexual or romantic together, and that's the way it will stay. I have no feelings beyond platonic ones left for the guy, and he's been going through a rough patch lately, so I'm trying to be there for him…

I know that I have trust issues, so what I am uncomfortable with isn't necessarily what everybody else is uncomfortable with. That's why I ask instead of making assumptions. Plus, it's a way of telling him that it's okay for him to be uncomfortable with it. If he still says it's fine, I do it. If he would have said he isn't comfortable with it then and there, of course I wouldn't have done it.

I value honesty, and being able to express discomfort. I gave him the option to let me know, he choose not to, but I value my male friends' opinion on those things, because I want to understand the people I care for better, even if they don't give me straight answers to straight questions.

I guess it has more to do with following orders without questioning them. People born in religious families who "turn away from god" are clearly not into doing everything you tell them to, without you giving them a sound reason why they should do as you say.... -.-

I've been in this situation a few weeks ago, luckily I have very good male friends who can help me understand if I do something that makes my partner uncomfortable, even if he wouldn't tell me. I think it's a good point, you don't want to be her dad, or you don't want to make her feel like you're trying to control her/tell her what to do or not to do. I went to hang out with my ex from 2 years ago, told my current BF, asked him if he's okay with it, while clearly stating that I would be uncomfor…

I'm really interested in how these numbers fluctuate between countries/ cultures. I'm sure that the way it applies to women in the U.S. is not the same as it applies to women in Europe, being shamed for the amount of sexual partners you have, I mean. In Europe, general slutty behaviour will still get you ostracized, but the amount of partners you slept with still won't make you a "slut" if you don't act like one. Maybe the less conservative/ christian views in some parts of Europe help both men …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
