That last one actually sounds like a great idea.

It's a harsh reality but everyone is right. You have to bounce. Depending on the state you love in she can't keep your daughter from you. Ask a lawyer though. Staying together because of the kid is a bad idea.

Keep telling yourself that you know me if that gives you the self esteem you need.

I'll admit, you had me for a second. If you knew me you would do one of two things to prove you knew me. Neither have happened. You're all talk bro.

No. I went to extremes because you really don't known me or who I am. You think you can look through some previous posts on reddit try and fill in some blanks and troll them. You don't know that maybe she left me because I was a chronic cheater. That's why I think you're hilarious.

I mean if I'm such a loser and I'm in denial, what's the point in living. I mean, you're right. I'm ugly. Going to the gym isn't going to help. I got my dreads because I thought it was going to help. You're so right man. I should just die.

Bwahahahahahahaha. You're fucking hilarious. I actually laughed at this comment. OMG. Thanks for such a great laugh. Please tell me more about my situation and who I am. This is an awesome laugh.

No denial here. You don't know me or my situation. Not going to argue. Just have a problem with the word "most". I'm not saying women don't do this. Of course they do. To generalize a majority of women because you've been hurt is isn't right to me. Just my $.02.

That most women leave because they have someone else lined up.

In this situation I'll agree, but I won't say for most cases.

If she's having sex with a co worker the same week you separated, this "new" sexual relationship isn't new. They've either been wanting to hook up for a long time and the separation was a good excuse to have sex, or the sexual relationship has been happening for a while and the separation is an excuse to "out" said relationship as something new.

I'm with you on this one. I like the idea of a relationship, but my brain reminds me about all effort needed for something successful.

Divorce is hard on the mind. It's good that this part is over and her can think about other things.

No. Because there is a lot of stuff I have have now because of my ex. Not just my kids.

No. In our decree it says she is responsible for paying the mortgage, and must refinance in x amount of time.

I'm moving out because in the split, she's getting the house. It's part of the decree since she is a SAHM trying to get back into the workforce.

Not really. We're still all living together. I talked with my lawyer about the first draft of the decree today. I'm supposed to move out within the next 30-45 days. We're working through a standard posession order. It's really hard knowing I may not see my kids every day. People say you should work out. I already was working out religiously before the divorce talks. It helps some. But I don't go to the gym any more for covid reasons. Once it's safe I imagine it will help more. Staying for the ki…

I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm I this same boat. I have a 4 y/o and 6 week old. Do. Not. Stay. For. The. Kids.

I've used it. It didn't help me. Maybe your experience will be different. I found the counselors really didn't hear what I was saying. You have to choose your counselor. Maybe I picked the wrong one?

She does not have a problem. She did for for divorce though. She told her lawyer that I'm the one with the problem which is a lie. I talked with my lawyer about that and I should be fine. Your wife will get the time she deserves with her kids as their mother. But don't stay with her because you won't see your kids 100% of the time.

It's hard because you don't want to break up your family. I'm not in your exact situation, but I can kind of understand where you're coming from. File for divorce, you and your kids will be better off for it. I'm in the middle of this right now with a 4 year old and a 1 month old. As for getting more or less time. Talk to your lawyer about that specifically if you already haven't. You may be able to get primary custody depending on the state you live in.

These are legit questions to ask. I'm going through a divorce right now and I got these exact questions answered. Are kids involved? It's also important that you are on the same page as your lawyer. I'm not saying you have to be in love with your lawyer, but you're going through a divorce. You don't need your lawyer to be a source of unnecessary stress. When it comes to the retainer fee, ask if it's refundable. I almost made the mistake of picking a guy who said it wasn't. I'm sorry you were dri…
