If you’re attractive and just say hi, that’s also the end of the conversation.

I think this is /s, and if it is, it's pretty funny.

Find your purpose and be happy with yourself first. Then share your purpose and happiness with people around you. Then share it with women.

Are they drop in tutoring sessions or for the entire quarter / semster? I think adding them on IG after the quarter / semester is fine and you can set up a date easily that way (reference her photos or story).

Don't post here often, but wouldn't you want to be specific in this case?

It's an awkward situation all together. But yeah, a wave might've sufficed.

You could try proposing an open relationship at the risk of hurting yourself immediately or down the line. But there would be a small chance where everything goes according to plan.

Obviously you don't want to approach someone mid set, but as both of you are taking a breather or passing each other, striking up a short conversation and introducing yourself never hurt anyone. I am in the same boat as you, but have been getting a lot of eye contact at the regular gym recently (yet when I go to the climbing gym, I'm just a regular nobody lol). I understand respecting the work out, but I've seen some of the same people month after month and would be curious to talk to them. But …

I thought some of the things about a long term relationship were a bit off, but otherwise I thought it was decent. I don't watch much of these though...

Learned helplessness is finding out specific things that don't work. Depression is finding flaws in everything and being overwhelmed by it.

Awesome write up, way to keep it honest and evaluate retrospectively what was going on. Do another write up when you go back to the mall with the same objective.

Super meta, I like the scope of this article. Too many times people are hoping for more specific pick up lines or ways to continue conversation, but using this mindset will always leave you with something to say.

Posture, eye contact, voice patterns. Physical body.

Yeah, I don't think it's intentional either. And maybe she doesn't understand dating. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt on being passive for too long, looking for any sign of interest to string me along. Even friends with boyfriends hit me up to hang out more often than she did. I fell for her too quickly. Dropped another plate to focus on her. Classic rookie seduction. Gotta treat the game more objectively. Not gonna make this mistake again..

That's some positive thinking, and I appreciate it, but you haven't heard the whole story. I've asked her out to lunch, drinks, a phone call, a walk around campus, dinner, and a hike in mostly consecutive weeks, and she'd obliged to all. She replies to texts, but the only times she has initiated has been to share lab results and tell me see saw me biking. She said she was interested in hanging out over the weekend and I told her to text me when she was free recently- no response. It's a passive …

Shes not gonna text you. Message me if she does (or doesn't). Hate to be so negative, but I had EXACTLY the same problem as you recently. She never initiated conversation, but always says yes to hanging out and we have a blast together - not in the sexual way, but in a way where conversation flows totally naturally, we are stimulated intellectually and are having a fun time. And it sucks that that is the kind of interaction I enjoy more than a physical one. Anyway, I chalked it up to being shy -…

Push yourself mentally now. Develop purpose, opinions, philosophies, etc. Read books, enjoy work/school.

If you smile immediately after eye contact, you probably do that to everyone, which is cool. If you wait a bit, then smile, it feels more personal.

Pretty simple and straight forward. If I make eye contact with an ugly person, I look away pretty quickly.

Many scenarios go can go into people not wanting to talk to you, including an already tough day, or one to come, etc. By building enough self-esteem and self-worth in your own mind to not be taken aback by rejection and attributing it to other factors (asshole person, or okay person in not-so-great current circumstances, or simply non-matching personalities), you might be on your way to working out the AA. Improve self-esteem and self-worth by working out your mind and body and know that when it…

Have you confirmed that the number is correct? Seems like a rushed #close with nothing to adhere the 2 parties other than equally good looks/fitness (if that). But great work on approaching the situation during the silence and brightness of the day, although there are mixed thoughts about approaching at a gym. Good to see you get the ball rolling after that break-up and keep it up.

Where was this? I just moved to Irvine to attend UCI for graduate school. Trying to get a feel for the area and where what crowds hang out. I am 24 and am hoping to find non-undergraduates to talk to.

No, it's not that easy. Cold water from start to finish. Quench that feeling of doubt in your decision to shower cold or go talk to the girl.
/r/seduction07/09/13 06:14 PM

Similar to approach anxiety with girls, cold showers try to dissuade you from taking (talking to) them right before you do. "This will be uncomfortable, I'm already feeling a bit cold, turning the handle the other way feels so much better, she's busy, I'm not in the mood to talk to her actually, she's out of my league." By being able to say "Fuck it" to cold showers, you might be better off saying "Fuck it" when thinking about approaching a girl.
