That mount of money is probably a goldmine for those people. You can't just one-on-one translate this shit.

Feminism isn't just fighting for women's rights at all. You see, it's also for transgenders, transsexuals, asexuals, pangenders, fat people, trigger warnings, gender neutral child raising, being domestic and hating white men because muh privileges. It's a fucking joke really and a waste of everybody's time in its current state.

If you're fat, you most probably don't care about your body and should be able to take critique.

If only all the money spent on this circumcision bullshit would be invested in proper education.

More bullshit from the BBC. Cut the funding, now. I still remember this piece of horseshit with statistics made up on the spot which I've debunked in a post here. Also, the editor picks of comments are absolutely horrid. This is outright misandry.

It's a cultural issue; we need to get rid of Islam and Judaism first. After that, we can make MGM an exceedingly rare phenomena in the majority of the West. In terms of Africa, if we ditch the likes of Bill Gates and their ridiculous pro-MGM "anti-HIV" campaigns we might be able to put a halt to it. I don't know why it's so popular in the US and how to stop it there so I can't comment on that.

A couple of radicals in two parties (labor and christian left-wing, in this case) try to go the same route here in Holland. The Swedish model is a disaster. I don't think prostitution should be illegal at all, but who the heck presses charges at the buyers of a service instead of the sellers? It makes no sense at all.

Abortion is a difficult subject and a mixed-bag for me. You've got peer pressure to take into account, something that's a real threat to women, and certainly don't think it happens only in certain cultures. But if you're aborting a child because "you're not ready for it" here's an idea: put it up for adoption. There are alternatives for abortion, and if a women has taken this into account and is educated on the subject, abortion should be possible. Having a period in which you have to think your…

How about the MRA not throwing a hissy fit for every troll? It's getting more and more difficult to associate myself with men's rights in general with all this blatant stupidity.

So if you have more money you pay more alimony? Sounds even worse than taxes, because at least some of my taxes go to good causes.

You will most probably never have to show up for anything, ever. It's a bad thing women are exempt from this, but high-school students are forced to do an unpaid internship ("maatschappelijke stage") which for females means that they are pushed into health care where they will most probably wipe someones incontinent ass.

My frenulum is intact as much as possible, so the operation was a medical "OK". Even if the cause of my problems might be different, I will address my circumcision and my feelings about it.

At the end of the day, a circumcised penis will function also exactly the same as an uncircumcised one. You are living proof that proper education is very, very important on this matter. Learn about what you're missing out on without a foreskin - then make others know about it. Don't feel bad about it, because it's not your fault. It was probably done on you when you were a little boy, powerless and without any say on what's going to happen with you. Instead, do research and let the world know. …

Judging by the prevalence of FGM in the West - pretty much nonexistent, with only 330 proven cases in a single year in the UK, I'd say FGM is almost a non-issue. It's not making this subreddit look bad - it's realism. Also note the "statistics" in that article, such as 20,000 girls "being at risk", literally pulled out of someone's ass. Hell, the very source BBC quoted, "Forward", says 6,500 are at risk. Everything about this is bullshit. 330 circumcised women (of which the type is unspecified) …

Just 20,000 "thought to be" at risk, not even circumcised yet. 1 billion men already suffered. It's not that FGM is not a problem, it's just that MGM is a much, much bigger problem that deserves more attention.

Anarchism is far-right bullshit. Let's not have a small government, let's not have one at all! I'm sure that'll work out great. Funny how some feminists identify with them. It seems so contradictory.

Probably. That's not a reason to back down though and I'm not afraid for the radicals who will undoubtedly abuse these laws.

The Swedish model. Can't say I agree with it because criminalization should be based on the provider of illegal services, but we do need help for those who are forced into prostitution. In all other cases I'd regard the people in this business and the clients as being in it voluntarily and both male and female prostitutes being able to make their own decisions. Note that I don't think prostitution should be illegal, as criminalizing it will take it underground. The Dutch model, and those of seve…

Western women don't get their cunt chopped up at birth and should just shut up about their little non-problems.

What hate for women here. I don't agree with that at all. What needs to happen is for this female specimen to be sued into oblivion, then wonder why the fuck you ruined your manhood for someone. Idiot.

They aren't even walking penises because they get mutilated within a second of thought. Society is horrible for men.

For gods sake, circumcision doesn't help stop AIDS. It doesn't help anything at all really, it just causes emotional harm in many men. I say this out of experience.

I vote socialist. It's the only way to keep essential services for the people in hands of the government instead of the 'free' market. I take the small amount of feminists for granted.

I've been struggling with my heterosexuality for some time, especially when I was in community college where most of the girls just come across as ordinary fuck fodder. No interests except fashion and their looks and a blazing lack of of knowledge about politics, news and the world. If only feminism would fix that problem.

I've thought about requesting my medical documents to find out more about my circumcision but this just might be the biggest reason to do so. (Edit: it's because my mother always claimed I've had phimosis and got me circumcised at the age of three even though foreskin could very well be unretractable until the age of five.)
