It's not the whole world. It's mostly just America and to a lesser extent, the West.

They're definitely trying to claim credit for the lack of partnering up. And that's 100% copium.

At this point incel just means "male who is not groveling and apologizing and kissing the feet of women" and of course that definition means even prepubescent boys are fair game. Gotta program them to only process information via rightthink or else they might tragically fall into the trap of becoming icky and bigoted and worse than a bear

Opposing a genocide, as labelled by virtually every genocide NGO including several Israeli ones, does not require nuance or an encyclopedic grasp of the issues. This is a zionist talking point.

As if Gen Z came up with that. Millennials were around to watch Tinder go from an amazing new conduit (met my partner off it in 2015) to the predatory, garbage bin shitshow turning virtually all chicks into raving entitled maniacs it is today. And pivoted accordingly. Everything Gen Z Claims to have pioneered, they just borrowed from millennials...which tracks given their psychology

Who even cares any more? Seriously just stop caring, let them do whatever the fuck that is, and you do what makes you feel fulfilled and happy instead.

I completely and totally relate. I also struggle with a few choice mental health diagnoses, and my default emotional response to anything actually good for me, like feeling vulnerable is a perfect example, is to go on destructive autopilot until my brain perceives that the scary weird sensations are gone. The good news is that we can train our brains very slowly to have different, more optimal responses. It's called neuroplasticity - your brain just sticks with what it knows, but by introducing …

Do things that you find interesting and make you happy. Whether that meets other people's standards for interesting or not isn't really your problem. Your friend sounds pretty shitty.

Haha, well said. It was the same for me (and this was decades ago when male teachers could more or less behave normally), the male teachers I had were crazy passionate about teaching and their subject and were trying to straight up blossom young brains. I had a couple lady teachers like that, but they were the exception.

The other commenter delivered a better reply than I could hope to with really good, actionable advice and I agree with everything they said. I just wanted to also say that you’re not uniquely awkward or no good in person or bad at rejection or any of these horrible life-stealing proclamations you’re placing on yourself. All of us struggle, some of us with the very same things in the very same ways. I think one of the weird ways that the world is evolving is that we’re all starting to feel the sa…

I just would pour all of your heart and soul into developing (or redeveloping) your game, literally like you have nothing left to lose. Shit make it even better this time, more complicated, more extravagant, funnier, weirder, whatever. Then just find some people interested in playing it with you. Don’t go straight for grappling with if it will get published or not, that is the source of all of your suffering. Just enjoy the pleasant things you are creating for yourself, and go from there. The an…

Dude I don’t mean to thread hijack or whatever but I just wanted to say that developing a game, make it three games?! Is actually one hell of a lot more than most people accomplish in life, so if you ask me, you’re already ahead of the curve. If working on your game is fulfilling, it’s time for you to put energy into finding a person/team/community that can help you get past that stuck stage. It doesn’t have to be a partner or soulmate or anything like that, just a few people interested that are…

Just from reading your replies it sounds like you are suffering a great deal, and I’m sorry. It also sounds like you are very focused on what you don’t have but should have and things of that nature. May I humbly suggest letting go of those expectations and just trying to enjoy life for what it is? It can be liberating. There are no shoulds in life, only the meaning that you yourself are in charge of creating. There are situations that can spark joy, environments that provide peace no matter wha…

This kind of thing is just horrible, I’m sorry OP. You need to detach from her completely. It’s going to be hard. Try not to obsess about what she is doing to heal - that’s no longer your business or problem. Reconnect with friends and family. Find some new hobbies. You will get through this.

we have Obama, pursuing an feminist agenda and actively working to increase preferential treatment for women over men I'm sorry, what?? This is the first time I have ever heard anyone make this argument (admittedly, I don't listen to conservative talking heads, though this sounds suspiciously like a 'truth' they'd champion). And this particular article has zero evidence of it. The law reads "discrimination on the basis of sex is not allowed." That's it. And then later we have Obama responding to…

I agree with both of you...though I think creepyeyes mostly meant needs in a broad sense, chiefly, the desire to be treated with respect.
