I was hit by 2 cars (from one into another) and I guarantee it was pretty much the same thing that happened here. Not in crosswalk. Fairly dark. Dark clothes. It's basically no ones fault (here in NC, a no fault state anyway). It was basically I didn't see him, and he didn't see me. I was lucky with only a shattered right forearm (is metal now!) 15 fractured ribs, a fractured pelvis (walk it off?) And still have a hematoma on my left leg 17 months later. The go away very, very slowly.
They could just as easily say, 7 men and 3 women were killed until they were dead at a back yard barbecue Thursday evening. As a side note, a dog and a baby dog were uninjured.
