What Is Behind the Trend of Women Initiating Breakups and Divorces?Yes. Inflation. The rest made sense but not inflation? Women are hypergamous. With the increasing cost of everything it has become increasingly challenging for younger male wage earners (those in the marriage age range early to mid 20s to early 30s) to provide which has an impact on long term viability of a relationship. This especially applies to a couple in which the woman is college-educated and earning a high wage for herself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/25 01:11 AM

What Is Behind the Trend of Women Initiating Breakups and Divorces? In the Western world? Feminism, no fault divorce, replacing religion, social media, inflation. In that order of importance. It's been a slow and steady march towards the destruction of marital relationships. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/25 12:53 AM
Some women look for a 'bailout man' over and overUnfortunately, it is very unlikely that a person who suffers from a cluster-b personality disorder will get better. Dialectical behavior therapy is an approach to help these people but I am not sure how successful it is. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/02/25 05:04 PM

This next guy is will not be spared. All of that aside, what is most important for you right now is to better understand why you tolerated this behaviour and how you can stop this pattern repeating in yourself for your next relationship. I say this with kindness. I've been there. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/02/25 04:57 PM |
Anyone else have a STBXW with Petulant type BPD?I strongly urged my ex to get professionally assessed for a cluster-b personality. She denied it all and totally lashed out. Spare yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/08/24 11:15 PM
Anyone else have a STBXW with Petulant type BPD?I can attest to this. Be prepared. She's not done with you yet. Nearly 6 months post separation and 4 months since she has moved out and my ex continues to contact me. No kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/08/24 11:13 PM
Anyone else have a STBXW with Petulant type BPD?Sadly, yes. She exhibited a lot of strange behavior throughout our relationship. For the first few years they were not so common but still very disruptive and, looking back now, major red flags. In 2017 and onward these negative behaviors increased in frequency and our relationship began to slowly deteriorate. To make matters worse, she began falling into cyclical major depression. If I am being completely honest I shortchanged myself. Sunken costs and perhaps lowered self-esteem kept me pushing… | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/08/24 11:11 PM
