lol. There you go. When asked for case law or to cite a section you tuck your tail between your legs and run. You being a scientist are unable to provide your source but exercise your law fantasies on Reddit mis directing people who are going through a vulnerable phase in their lives.

Also what is the section or the case law that says conviction cannot be secured on uncorroborated oral testimony ?

Read your comment. You say that if you can put suggestions then no need to go for cross examination.

What are you saying. ? Suggestions or putting your case to the witness is when you offer a witness a chance to EXPLAIN. How can you give suggestions/ put your case to the witness without cross examining them. You said in DV case DONT stand for cross examination. I am asking you how can you avoid standing for cross examination. What is this novel way ? Which provision of law permits you to refuse to be cross examined ?

Sir which paragraph of the judgement you’ve linked says that more than wife’s statement is required to secure conviction ? Additionally this is a judgement passed on a revision petition. Will explain the import of a revision once you show me the paragraph where it says that more than the wife’s statement is required to secure conviction. Eagerly waiting for your response

Your advise is criminally horrible. You deserve to be sued. You are doing more injustice to the cause of men than any woman could. I am so incensed see you write this crap. I have so many additional holes to pick in your above ‘ advice ‘ but I don’t have the patience I am writing my comments here so as to not clutter the chain in that post.

A lot of conversation around 'believe her ' etc , many judge/ jurists / lawyers forget or don't mention a basic principle. Any one who alleges the commission of an act must prove it. The burden of proof that something happened is upon the person saying that it has happened. Almost all common law countries follow this principle except obviously where the legislature by virtue of a fiction have reversed the burden of proof.
