And there it is. "The lulz". I remember when lulz was funny, it was about the time I graduated high school and frequented 4chan. Enjoy your maymays. Hahaha.

Except that the vast majority of people will not give two shits about the movie or the article. Lots of dumbass movies get made about shit that people don't care about.

My point is that to people who don't understand, (the majority of the human race) it makes us look bad. Believe it or not, most people don't give a shit about men's rights, nor do they understand the negative meaning you give to the word. To them, we're the "SJW'S". But I get now that this sub isn't actually about men's rights at all, it's just an anti-"sjw" circle jerk, so I think I'm done here.

You're linking me to an article that has social justice warrior in quote marks, wherein the man being interviewed has to explain what sjw means. You're proving me right.

Inferring something negative when calling some one a social justice warrior. The op I was responding to said he wanted to "destroy some sjw's", so no, I was only responding.

The funny thing though, is that to people outside our subreddit here and maybe TRP and certain other various mysoginist/racist boards, calling someone a social justice warrior has no underlying context, so saying it negatively makes us look very, very bad. It's accepted in our little echo chamber here, but in the real world, it's definitely not.

Uh, no, if they if don't fight for social justice, they aren't social justice warriors. The cognitive dissonance in this sub is astounding. If you advocate or are an activist for men's rights, you're a social justice "warrior".

Well people that use the term look fucking ignorant and this type of shit is why people don't take men's rights seriously.
/r/MensRights13/07/15 01:33 PM

I need to be educated? Social justice: "the view that everyone deserves equal rights and opportunities." Warrior (in context): "someone who fights for a cause" Are we not fighting for social justice for men? Pick up a fucking dictionary. The fact that you would argue otherwise is embarrassing to the cause.
/r/MensRights13/07/15 01:28 PM

Then they aren't social justice warriors.
/r/MensRights13/07/15 01:04 PM

Like I asked in my edit, is equality for men not considered social justice? It's dumb as fuck to call our opponents social justice warriors in a sub supposedly dedicated to men's rights.
/r/MensRights13/07/15 01:03 PM

Just so you know, MRA are pretty much social justice warriors. Edit: is equality for men not considered social justice?

That's the plan! We have a few years to figure it out, the oldest is 7.

Only in the same sense as I do with my other two. I couldn't bear to see my kids crushed under crippling debt willingly. Hopefully education financing will be fixed by the time they're ready for college and I won't have to worry about it at all. Yeah, right.

I don't have to, but it would be shitty to pay for my two and not the girl I've been caring for since she was 1, don't you think? I'm still with the mother.
/r/MensRights05/05/15 03:40 PM

I did, and I intend on paying for all 3 of our kids higher education, but not because a law tells me to. The fact that any of them are somehow entitled to it because of a separation is a fucking joke. Any annuity/child support should be used for that purpose. This is double/triple dipping and is absurd.

You're fucking retarded. There is no real evidence on the Internet. You're just being a cynical asshole and arguing against a strangers claim of their father being a good person for no reason.

We know that he did a seemingly great job raising his daughter despite his situation. I don't know what kind of evidence you need to be convinced, but this is about as good as it gets on reddit. Just go through op's history if you want to look for proof.

That doesn't make him not amazing as a person. If course he needs to get away from her, but your argument is that he isn't amazing because he has some forum of Stockholm syndrome.

The fuck are you talking about? His kid is telling us that he would do anything for her. That's pretty important when deciding how amazing a father is.

He can be amazing independent of his situation.

I wonder why you can't get any girls. I'm willing to bet money it's not because you don't want to put up with their shit.

He didn't just say "fuck the female species", he said "fuck them not in the good way". Not only implying they're useless for reasons other than sex, but reinforcing the fact that he's referring to them in a negative light. What other context is there that I'm missing? Edit: it's a shitty attitude and makes it look as though MRA are just shitty misogynists.

"Fuck the female species" is pretty sexist isn't it? Is this sub just TRP-lite or what? You don't have to be into women but there are plenty that aren't worthy of that hatred. I'm not even a SJW, but something about that just rubbed me the wrong way.

She's from New Zealand I think?

He was implying that I make the money and she would be using me -- or that's how I took it. It's still incredibly sexist and inappropriate either way.
/r/MensRights12/06/14 08:13 PM

Lol ok. I'm a stay at home dad right now and my wife makes the money while I take care of kids. So I guess you could say we both "have" each other. If you're going to be part of mrm you should probably drop the gender roles.
/r/MensRights12/06/14 03:47 PM

My wife isn't like that. This is a little too paranoid man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
