Married and LTR RPW: Who buys his clothes? This exactly. Seems like he is just delegating a task. | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/05/14 03:32 AM
Men want to feel desired?Thank you for this perspective. It is interesting to think about how behaviors might communicate sexual desire vs. sexual need. I worry about coming off as too needy when it comes to sex, but perhaps expressing it as a need (which it is) is better received than toning it down and trying to express only a desire for my SO. | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/04/14 12:22 AM
What do you think about spinning plates?I understand that kind of concern. I go crazy often.... I assume that if I can see how amazing he is, all other women must feel the same way. I know that I would go to some scary lengths to get his attention, so I get paranoid, assuming that if a girl looks at him funny, she must be flirting... or plotting to steal him away (on my crazier days). | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/04/14 06:09 AM
What do you think about spinning plates?I agree. It isn't so much that it "matters" as that it is a part of his past, and so a part of him. I guess that I just see it as something else to know about the person that I love. The stories get mixed up with all of the others about his past, and I wouldn't want to have any of the stories edited just to avoid having knowledge about his sex life, numbers, etc. | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/04/14 06:02 AM
Girlfriend came home from the bar without underwearI do not know anything about the situation, but just offering a lady's perspective. My Grandmother often advised me to go without underwear, even as a child, particularly when wearing pantyhose. For her generation, showing underwear just wasn't okay, so you didn't do it. Of course, there are a number of alternatives, but I have employed a number of techniques to avoid showing a panty line or a bra strap (even foregoing the undergarment in question). As long as the skirt is of an appropriate leng… | /r/TheRedPill | 10/04/14 06:09 PM
Bedroom advice for a woman with a more traditional man....Indeed! It is a really great way to focus all of your attention on your SO. I wonder if there are any ladies here who could give massage pointers. I'm still in the very beginning stages of learning how to give a massage. | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/14 11:00 PM
Bedroom advice for a woman with a more traditional man....Have you explored couple's massage at all? I don't know much about it, but I love massaging my SO. It is quiet and slow, and the touches get me all worked up. And, if it doesn't end up exciting either of you sexually, one or both of you still got a massage! | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/14 10:45 PM
Dealing with depression but maintaining motivation to be a good SO and human being in society.I'm not sure if this is an option, but I have looked at some of the clinics near me, and without insurance, seeing a psychiatrist is only thirty dollars per visit. It works on a sliding scale, but I took advantage of this as a student, because I was making next to nothing (which put me in the lowest bracket). Drug companies also offer prescription cards for those without medical insurance, to make the drug more affordable (or, to get people to take their new drug rather than an older less expens… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/14 10:42 PM
Dealing with depression but maintaining motivation to be a good SO and human being in society.I have certainly encountered this viewpoint before. Some think that the diagnoses isn't real, so the appointments, medications, etc, are not the way to deal with feeling "blue"... not to mention that there is still a huge stigma associated with mental illness. Sounds like OP's parents think very poorly of psychiatric care, and don't want to support her pursuing treatment by "allowing" her to use their insurance. Though you may be able to keep specific doctor records away from parents, if you are… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/03/14 10:36 PM
Periods and staying feminineI'm sorry to hear that! When the doctor called me, she asked if I used scented tampons, soaps, wipes... yes, yes, yes... :x They told me no more. Pretty smells can only be had sparingly, it seems. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/03/14 09:10 AM
Periods and staying feminineI love the wipes! Keeps me from actually jumping in the shower four times each day during my period. A quick warning, though... they can destroy the natural "flora" down there and lead to BV infections. :/ I try to only use them during my period, because this did happen to me when I was using them all of the time. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/03/14 01:27 AM
Periods and staying feminineI've tried the SoftCups that TempestTcup mentioned, but found that they could be really messy if things didn't go perfectly. I am sure that some practice would make them work a bit better. As for tampons, though, my aunt taught me to cut the strings after inserting them to make things a bit less noticeable, and she suggested putting a little lube on the tampon to help with the dryness. I'm not sure how healthy that is, but with frequent changes, I can't imagine that it would be too bad! | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/03/14 06:37 PM
Periods and staying feminineI've learned that the experience can vary wildly from woman to woman. So, some women often don't understand why we are so uncomfortable. Some men who have had girlfriends who had easy periods assume that it is easy for everyone. But, our bodies are quite individual in this way. I also feel sick and experience a lot of pain. Luckily, mine only lasts 3-4 days now that I am on birth control (it used to be 8-10.... yuck). I try to frame it in my mind as just 3-4 sick days every month, just as if I h… | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/03/14 06:34 PM
Feminine Suit Suggestions?I am starting an office job in a week and am in desperate need of a suit too! I am also very small and am having a lot of trouble finding something that fits well, so I will be eager to see other responses. As for leg wear, I started wearing thigh high stockings and socks about two years ago, and I love them! You can find quite a few "socks" or stockings that are nice and warm, but since they are only thigh high, they don't create all of the bulk around the midsection like sweater tights do. I h… | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/03/14 01:00 AM
"10 Marriage Tips Every Wife Needs to Hear," from a woman's blog. (Hopefully not a repost)Perhaps you have already provided links elsewhere, but where do you post your writing? I too get a little frustrated with all of the religious sites. Mostly, their argument for why you should adopt these behaviors simply points to whatever religious text they follow. I am more interested in reasoned discussions about why these things do or do not work. I would be very interested to read what you and your wife have to say! | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/03/14 08:46 PM
Weekly Thread: What's your favorite beauty secret?Thank you! That helps a lot. I knew that I needed something "better" but I wasn't sure how much better they needed to be. I didn't want to waste $40 for a pair that wouldn't end up being any better. I will start looking in that range! | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/03/14 01:54 AM
Weekly Thread: What's your favorite beauty secret? What kind of scissors do you use for your hair? I tried trimming my own ends when I was growing my hair out a few years back, using some inexpensive "hair" scissors I found at the drug store. I was sad to find that I was actually creating more splits than I was preventing. :( | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/03/14 01:27 AM
Weekly Thread: What's your favorite beauty secret?Yes. This. I have been doing this for years, and it has helped so much. I've found that Dove deodorant works the best. It has a bunch of moisturizers in it, but unlike lotion, it "dries" the skin a bit, soothing it to keep any nasty bumps away. | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/03/14 01:24 AM
Wondered what your thoughts were on Huff Post article (especially #1) "26 Lessons Your Son's Future Spouse Will Thank You For Teaching Him"Make sure he has a good male role-model in his life, because at the end of the day, you can teach your son many things - but he'll only learn how to be a man from another man. One of my worst case scenario fears is that I will end up the single mother of a boy (through accident/death, not divorce) and will be left completely unable to raise him well. This might be a topic for another place, but I have some strong ideas about how the father of my (future) son should really be the main disciplinar… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/03/14 07:38 PM
TRP Xpost: "Red Pill Antibiotic Nuke, Come and Feed" by IllimitableManI moved to a large city in the US recently (coming from small town America), and part of my faith in humanity has been restored. Sure, there are still the fat and unattractive people running around, but I can go downtown any day and see men in suits, wearing nice shoes, and women in pretty skirts with heels. It is lovely. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/03/14 10:46 PM
Tips and Tricks for Sexy HairThank you! | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/02/14 07:31 PM
Tips and Tricks for Sexy HairWhen I've used coconut oil as a conditioner in the past, I used the stuff from the organic foods section in the grocery store. I think that I prefer olive oil to coconut oil, though. It is heavier than the coconut oil, so I can get more moisture with less of the "oily" side effects. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/02/14 05:13 AM
Tips and Tricks for Sexy HairI have been trying this for a couple of weeks now! My SO mentioned that he really likes my hair curly. I have a good deal of natural curl, but I was having trouble convincing it to curl nicely on a regular basis (by scrunching, not with heat or curlers). I've been quite impressed with the results. I'm still working on finding a routine/combination of products that works well, but I would say that this method is definitely worth a try! | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/02/14 05:08 AM
On Planning a Several Course MealI had an apron a couple of years ago that I loved so much. It fit perfectly, was quite cute and had the perfect pocket for my phone (sometimes I wore it mostly to keep my phone close by). I would often come home, put it on, and not take it off until all dishes/cleaning up was completely finished. After it became shreds, I lost it, and I haven't found a similar pattern since. They can be incredibly useful if you find the right one. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/02/14 06:41 PM
A Husband's Awesome Response to "She's a Stay at Home Mom? What does she DO all day?"I am an after school sitter for a family. I love the time I get with the kids. We have snacks, play games, read, talk. I often feel bad that their mother doesn't get this time with them. She is a wonderful mother and very involved in their lives, but it hit me one day that they get ready for bed about an hour and a half after she gets home. It seems to work for their family, but I have definitely become more aware of just how much I want to be at home in the afternoons for this time, if I have c… | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/02/14 02:13 AM

Need some (sane) womanly advice: My wife asked me to make our marriage more traditional. What steps can I take to transition from a modern marriage into a traditional one, and how gradual a transition should it be?I didn't either until my SO showed me this sub. :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/01/14 01:18 AM
The State of RPW, What we Are Not"someone who won't waste your pretty" I love that! | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/01/14 08:22 PM
Newbies!! Come Out and Say Hi!Hello! I've been reading the posts here almost religiously for a couple of weeks now, but I am still pretty new (to RPW and reddit in general). My SO and I love to spend hours talking, and one of our favorite topics? Gender relations. We have a rather "traditional" view of gender roles. He forwarded a couple of TRP topics to me. I found myself a bit angry at the tendency to generalize an entire gender on TRP, but have come to understand a bit better why that is the case. However, I have really e… | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/01/14 05:16 PM
23 Things to Do Instead of Getting Engaged Before You're 23I just saw this response to the original article which brings up some good points. Though the religious goals don't really apply to me, I did like that some of the activities on her list lend themselves to making a girl a better potential partner (learn how properly to set a table, for example). | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/01/14 12:56 AM
Survey: What things does your RP woman do that triggers masculine and dominant feelings in you?No acting necessary. This would be me. Help opening jars is very much appreciated. My culinary abilities were quite limited when living alone. :/ | /r/TheRedPill | 03/01/14 10:45 PM
1 I messed up. Badly. Do any of you ladies have extensions, and if so, can you lend a fellow RPW some tips? :(I don't have any experience with extensions. But, a few years back I joined this online community full of women growing out their hair. Some of these girls are just amazing. Anyway, the forum is full of great advice for growing long, healthy hair. The support and encouragement through the awkward phases of growing it out was really helpful for me too. It will take time. As someone else said, probably about a year to get to your shoulder. I am sure there are also a number of subreddits that could… | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/12/13 10:01 PM
Looking your best when you aren't at your bestIndeed! It is a good realization, though. A good, fitted garment that shows just the right amount of skin tends to get the most attention here. | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/12/13 11:58 PM
Looking your best when you aren't at your bestI definitely understand the claustrophobic sock feeling. I've always been a little less biased against tights (but they have their own drawbacks with the tight band around the waist). Knee socks/thigh highs have been the perfect compromise. I've found these at Kohls and, most recently, Marshalls at really decent prices. Online shops seem to be a bit pricier. Money is tight here too... honestly, I mostly shop at Goodwill. The "lingerie" section there is a little scary, but looking for short, cott… | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/12/13 08:39 PM
Looking your best when you aren't at your bestI lounge around in my pajamas frequently. Quite a few of the items I wear during the day require dry cleaning or ironing, so I have learned that it is better to take these things off shortly after I get home. However, my pajamas are all short night dresses. He likes this. I find it most comfortable. I've found that a form fitting, short night dress (I guess they are most "sleep shirts" like this), with a pair of knee socks and a sweater is well received. Plus, it is really comfortable! | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/12/13 11:53 PM
Women, after all, are still a tiny minority in well-paying trades like plumbing, welding and masonry. There are indeed many "in between" positions. I worked at a bank a while back. I was just out of college and didn't know what to do with my BA in French (I don't regret that major- the degree was entirely free thanks to academic scholarships, and I found the study incredibly rewarding). I started to apply for positions at banks, and through the interview process, I had several managers (all female) mention that banking is, "a good field for a young woman". Even while agreeing with these sorts of… | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/12/13 06:56 PM
Feminists want chivalry back.I had a minor obsession with etiquette books as a child. The message that I took away when it comes to opening doors is that everyone is expected to open the door for those in a respected or vulnerable position. As a young woman, this means that I should let any lady who is older than I am through the door first. I should also hold the door for anyone who is disabled, pregnant, has their hands full, elderly, and so on. Even if out with a friend, the rule is to hold the door behind you, so it doe… | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/12/13 11:08 PM
Hello ladies! Long Hair, Short Hair, Medium Hair. Tell us what you think. My SO has the most beautiful hair ever. Seriously. I'm obsessed and jealous at the same time. I prefer it to be a medium length. It still looks clean and professional, and there is also still enough hair for me to play with it! When it comes to men's hair lengths in general, I think that it is best to keep it clean and well-groomed and then find a style that works well with his hair texture and lifestyle. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/11/13 08:07 PM
LURKERS! Im calling you out...Indeed! All of that makes a good deal of sense to me. Since I am really only concerned with keeping his interest and encouraging his personal happiness, being mindful when it comes to be appearance and actions seems completely obvious! I've certainly found lots of good support here when it comes to pursuing these goals. | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/11/13 08:03 PM
LURKERS! Im calling you out...Hello! I am definitely a lurker here. I think that I check in almost every day to see if anything new has been posted. :) I'm pretty shy on the internet in general, though. I already had a lot of "traditional" views on relationships, so many of the RP philosophies made a good deal of sense. I've always known that men and women are different. I'll admit that I have had a number of negative reactions to posts, both here and on TRP. The posts have sparked a number of great conversations with my SO.… | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/11/13 01:31 AM
Wondering about dinners for my night shift husbandWhen I was in college, cooking mostly for myself, I found that individually packaged frozen fish fillets, or chicken breasts made for a great "quick cook". Having all of the ingredients prepped (could be as simple as your favorite seasoning mix), and then quickly pan frying (pan grilling, if there is less oil involved?) them made for a great meal. I could take it from freezer to plate in less than twenty minutes (just heat the pan while the meat thaws in a bowl of water). Many sides really do he… | /r/RedPillWomen | 17/10/13 07:36 AM
