Personally, I wouldn't consider this "stopping PMO" thing as a healthy behavior that anyone should do. Should anyone stop watching porn? If it's against your personal values, then yes. But masturbation... do you think that for a young, healthy person it is even possible to keep the steam inside and still behave adequately?

What is the difference between "neutral" and "I take ideas from both sides"?

$5000 an hour sounds like a success to me. I mean, aside from the red pill content, hey... if someone’s paying.

The value is always subjective, just like in the modern economic theory. So instead of asking the absolutist question about value - ask a more accurate one "what makes someone high value for <insert persons name here>?".

Even though none of the bystanders said anything, I’m hoping they would have stepped in to protect you, if the drunk guy made a move on you. This. See, there's no point in trying to debate a drunk person. Especially, drunk and mentally challenged person. But throwing a fist or two is not a problem if situation calls for it. So you shouldn't take it as a completely unsafe situation, but just in case it's better to be prepared to defend yourself. Another point is, since you have mentioned that you…

I don't like his self-destructive attitude. It's not smart in any way. Don't know why he's so popular, maybe because of algos?

Although from the way you phrased your question, in a sub that is hostile to evo psych, it is obvious you are just looking for confirmation of your views. Yes, I am biased, but i'm always open to new perspectives. Most of evo psych and psychology claims don’t pass this test, but some do What claims do pass the test? In evo psych, I mean.

People on the internets are quick in the advice to call it quits. This is not the best option, and considering that you have a child together - definitely not the best. Seems you two have jumped the marriage bandwagon too quickly, before knowing each other properly. I don't believe that one could be immersed into RP without being somewhat"compatible" with it. Before doing the rush decision - cool down and try to understand each other better. Go to a couple's therapy.

YouTube algorithm, at some point, flooded my recommendations with it. I suppose that was because I was interested in improving my relationship skills. Such a disservice. Fortunately I have a special quirk to myself, that I can't follow any ideology for long. So soon enough I've started to look for reasons that it's bullshit. Wasn't hard to find some.

It sounds horrible, I agree. In a discussion earlier we've come to a conclusion that the title has been specifically targeted for the men who would benefit the most from it.

But there is no such blueprints in "Models" book also. It's basically "I've slept with over 9000 women, so you should become a narcissistic person who would not care, treat his relationships as a power struggle and be overly blunt in social situations while calling it honesty." The closest to what you've said is in the book "The social skills guidebook" by Chris Macleod
/r/ExRedPill11/01/23 09:06 PM

Personally, I don't recommend "Models" book. As I said in a neighboring thread, Mark is not qualified in psychology. I've read his book, and it's full of dangerous broscience. Like "not caring" advise for example.
/r/ExRedPill11/01/23 08:52 PM

Narcissism would be pretty easy to see. Look if she's an inquisitive person. Normal person would care about you (and close ones), would try to understand what makes you tick, would care for your opinion even if she would not agree with it. For narcissist your inner world doesn't have any value.

I don't know why anyone would recommend this book. Manson has no qualifications in psychology, or family psychology in particular. He's a PUA, everyone keeps saying "former", but I don't see what makes him former. There are books written by actual psychologists on the matter of relationships.

First, goals and purpose are not the same. Second, living your life constantly thinking about the future - is living your life in your head. You completely miss what is happening right now. And last, since when you should follow someone’s ideas about life?

if you are causing other people stress or discomfort. Why do you think that someone else's comfort is your business? And if you are trying to date, it’s a good idea to be aware of how you are perceived so you can improve yourself as necessary. By "improve" you mean fake? Impose yourself as someone you are not?

I am very sensitive and therefore very stupid. Being sensitive does not equal being stupid. I understand that you might have been thru some complicated life situations that have formed such an association in you. But give yourself some respect, and don't call yourself stupid. I have not determined any true full proof external signs that I would be confident to list right now Then it would be impossible to find a role model online. Because how would you know without knowing them personally? What I would suggest - is not to look for a role model online, but to listen to certified specialists instead.
/r/ExRedPill25/11/22 04:13 PM

I know plenty of people in monogamous relationships (IRL), but they’re not happy. Why do you think that they are not happy? And how a happy relationship should look like for an external observer?

Should a man; get himself together, date the women who would never give him a chance, and then settle for a wife who appreciates him? So, women who appreciate you are not your cup of tea? get himself together Yeah, I would suggest you to start with that. Because you seemingly have a self-worth issues. Seek pleasure That's... questionable. I have nothing against pleasure, but to seek it? Isn't it a bit hedonistic? Understand that rejection and failure are necessary to succeed It's a very western type of thinking, that one has to "succeed" in life, otherwise it's a bit meh. But life is more than that. Most of us men seem to have lost that what makes us men, what makes us masculine My biology make me a man. That doesn't require any mindset, skills, whatever. what I am trying to say is that if you are a man and you haven't had a gf or you are struggling with finding one, then you know damn well that you either lost a quality that will facilitate finding a gf or you havent' developed one That's called "social skills". Being my authentic self is playing videogames and being asocial. There are women who are into video games. There are women who are asocial. Are you asocial because of your life circumstances or is it your choice? Are video games your comfort zone, or are you deliberately choosing video games instead of other hobbies?

So, you want to manipulate someone into the relationship while not showing who you truly are? How do you think it will end? Rather than manipulating someone into liking you, think of the ways how you could show someone who you are, your values, your likes, goals etc. And let them decide if you are their cup of tea.

Perhaps I care too much about my friend and his experience, but I guess your suggestion is basically don't worry about it? That's not what I have meant, pardon my poor explanation. There is a lot of suffering out there, but you have pointed out male loneliness. And, I suppose, that is because you have suffered from it, and would like not to suffer any more. The thing is - you attribute this feeling to women. Like, they gave this feeling of loneliness to you. But you see, the thing is that all out emotions are self inflicted. So, the correct question then would be: why does some men choose to create an emotion of loneliness in the absence of external validation by women?

Forget about society and loneliness. Do you care about emotional state of others? If no, then why do you expect something else from others?

I had to say it because it was so in my case. You’re welcome.

In my understanding, confidence is an absence of psychological (mental) blocks between making a goal and taking an action. That implies that one is already able to make a goal for oneself, and is willing to take an action upon it. That being said, I agree that sometimes "confidence" advice is being used in stead of "don't bother me".

You are trying to base your confidence on external factors, be it height, looks or treatment by others. This is understandable, but it wouldn't give you an unshakeable base that you can operate on. In my opinion, one should come to a place where you are comfortable with who you are. Some call it "true confidence".

When you emphasize the importance of boundaries and personal values it sounds very "codependent" to me. Not that boundaries and values are not important, but the utmost value given to them seems like a symptom of a person, who didn't organically developed them in the first place (i.e. codependent). If that's the case, then you have some healing to do. For your own sake, foremost.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
