Activists try to add ramps for disabled people to get places. SJWs instead try to remove the stairs so they won't offend the disabled people. You can still be a positive influence on the world, the main barrier you have to avoid is not ditching common sense in a perverted search for "the greater good".

Actually got curious about this so I crunched some numbers to figure out where my best times stacked up against the current WRs as a high school senior. Men's short course 50 meter record is 20.26 seconds. Women's is 23.24 seconds. In high school my best 50 freestyle time in yards was 22.89 (pretty solid, but not outstanding for a 4A high school male in my area). 1 yard is 91.44% of one meter, so (given a little bit of leeway, the world record times in yards would stack out as roughly): Men's ya…

Oh god no, it would be interesting though. There's a couple major reasons women are slower: 1) Strength is enormously important in a medium 1000x denser than air, and men are typically larger and stronger 2) The longer an object is, the lower its relative resistance is in the water (Froude numbers) so with the height disparity taller people and in general, men, can achieve a higher top speed/glide farther 3) sort of related to 2, but boobs add a huge amount of drag for most women. Most elite fem…

US Women's national hockey team practices against high school men's teams as well, and usually get smoked. Nothing wrong with it, it's an unfair competition by design and I'm sure it's great training.

Uhhhhh what? Men are significantly faster than women in swimming... like it's not even close. I could have gone to college for free back in the day if I were swimming my times as a woman, instead I ended up paying full price and joining the club team. There's a three second difference in the short course 50 meter World records. Three seconds is enormous for that event.

I wouldn't rule out the possibility, but it's definitely much less likely.

Equality means equal standards. End of discussion.

They should be, and some of that means accepting individual shortcomings such as not being able to pass muster. I couldn't qualify without a major lifestyle overhaul and I'm a dude. This enforces an equality of standards between men and women, so I'm not sure what you're getting at. In other words, totally equal means having to pass the same tests, which this reinforces.
